Vriff 21 Posted September 2, 2013 I do HM and NM operations. So does zbyl. Still not quite sure what makes us unable to do so? By NM I'm guessing you mean normal mode? I barely log in nowadays, but when I do, it's for an operation You can easily get ops passes from GTN for about 150k, and it doesn't take long to get this kind of money (and if I'm too poor to buy it, there's always Hassat with his gazillions of credits). Sure, in order to go for harder ops you need to get artifact equipment unlock as well, which is tad more expensive... but it's very much possible to do endgame as preferred : ) There are never any ops passes on the GTN on JC, they popped up for a bit after that bundle went up, but they've dried up here. zbyl2 811 Posted September 2, 2013 NM = nightmare, and there are always operation passes on GTN on Red Eclipse when I look. Guess they don't sell as well on JC.
MrPhil 58 Posted September 2, 2013 Dang, I have selected a crew skill that I did not wanted. Basically, I tought I'd still get the choice to *not take the class* when selecting the character. Now it says that I have to unlearn the crew skill but I can't find out how and where I do that for the love of god. Any ideas, boys?
zbyl2 811 Posted September 2, 2013 Go to companion window (by pressing "N"). Your crew skills are listed at the top of it, you can unlearn them by using X icon next to them.

That's impressive, what guild are you with? Also, I saw Hassat post on the SWTOR forums before, so you've had to be a subscriber at one point, lol. zbyl2 811 Posted September 3, 2013 We're both preferred, so yeah, we sub every now and then Last time we subbed was when we bought Makeb. And well, we do NMs of classic ops (EV, KP) easily, the new ones (TFB, S&V, even EC) are a bit out of reach for our guild atm : P Still, it is perfectly possible to do those as preff. MrPhil 58 Posted September 3, 2013 Can you become pref anymore? I think I had an invite, but it may be buried or something...
zbyl2 811 Posted September 3, 2013 Yes, you can still become pref, you just have to buy something with real money (either sub or cartel coins).
MrPhil 58 Posted September 3, 2013 Did you buy something to become pref? What are the advantages of being pref? What would you rather buy, if you were in my shoes, the 15-20 bucks rise of the hutt extension or the 5 bucks STAP speeder with a few other goodies, in order to become pref? zbyl2 811 Posted September 4, 2013 List of features for subs vs prefs vs full F2P http://www.swtor.com/free/features I recommend 30-days sub to get preferred status (that's what I did). It's pretty cheap nowadays (~$10 in my country) and if you play the game regularly, you'll get your money's worth out of it. And for those 30 days, you'll benefit from it much more than from $5 cartel pack (which is I believe the cheapest way to get pref). I wouldn't buy Hutt Cartel expansion until you play some more, see if you like the game enough first.
Hassat Hunter 571 Posted September 4, 2013 I wouldn't really buy the sub till atleast 40+ either. The benefits aren't that good until then, nor do you really have the credits to profit from your sub benefits.
