MrPhil 58 Posted October 22, 2011 hmmm.. no, in mine, all three were on the launcher at certain points.First Sion, then Nihilus, then Kreia Same for me. Answer: It's always the in-game cut scenes or when talking to someone. More when talking to someone than the scenes. Why "or"? Is there another way that you know of? In any case, nothing weird then. Unless you qualify-it weird that Nihilus has a domination obsession about Visas and that she seems sado masochistic. From what I gathered, HH is trying to tell us that we have to do something "irregular" to get the odd Nihilus launcher instead of the regular Nihilus. From what I gathered, HH is trying to tell us that we have to do something "irregular" to get the odd Nihilus launcher instead of the regular Nihilus. Correction: First off, it's not the launcher that changes, it's the main menu. Answer: Second, the "or" is it's usually the cutscenes OR when talking to someone. Those are the two instances that there's always something weird going on. Talking to someone is not an in-game cutscene. Query: So what is it HH? I've never noticed anything that would break... and I've played it the most times.
Guest Disturbed205 Posted October 22, 2011 No, the requirement WAS there, but the execution was broken (as stated, it produced Sion instead). A hint; what causes the weirdest stuff to happen in the game, even without TSLRCM? Beating the game twice. Unlocks Atton's Are you an Angel dialog, Brianna's poetry, etc.

MrPhil 58 Posted October 23, 2011 Correction: First off, it's not the launcher that changes, it's the main menu. Well, I know, it's the menu... I just say launcher since I've seen-it called this way sometimes, anyway. Answer: Second, the "or" is it's usually the cutscenes OR when talking to someone. Those are the two instances that there's always something weird going on. Talking to someone is not an in-game cutscene.Query: So what is it HH? I've never noticed anything that would break... and I've played it the most times. What is this instance? Talking to whom? Usually, what gets you the cutscene is going dark side or lightside! So it can be achieved by either speaking or acting non-neutral aligned. Beating the game twice. Unlocks Atton's Are you an Angel dialog, Brianna's poetry, etc. Oh? How is this showing? Do you have to "pursue romance" with them? And is this related with the main menu Nihilus? Romance with Visas, perhaps?
Guest Darth Hayze Posted October 23, 2011 I think that is the right answer.
Guest HK-47 Posted October 24, 2011 What is this instance? Talking to whom? Usually, what gets you the cutscene is going dark side or lightside! So it can be achieved by either speaking or acting non-neutral aligned. Answer: It doesn't matter. Many times the dialogue would break, stop suddenly, or not trigger at all. I think you think I'm speaking of the Visas intro cut-scene. I'm speaking of any cut-scene at any point in the game is when goofy weird things happen, as per the query that HH posed. Guest Kerk Posted October 24, 2011 I must be missing something important here, but romance with Atton is technically not possible in the game. At best you can get him to admit that he is willing to die for you and sees it as his purpose from now on, but that's it, isn't it? And this hardly can be called a romance, since all other mates admit the same thing.

Statement: Since it's not much of a romance anyways, it doesn't cause "the weirdest stuff to happen in the game, even without RCM".
Guest staticjoe66 Posted October 24, 2011 Hence the trigger--I've never done a neutral playthrough so it would be interesting to see if the launcher changes at those same points. We know at 25% LS or DS is when you see the Nihl/Visas cutscene and she goes off to locate the Exile but I don't recall if that's when the launcher changes as well... hmmm.. no, in mine, all three were on the launcher at certain points. Mandalore 61 Posted October 25, 2011 I've had all 3 on the menu, plus seeing myself.
Guest staticjoe66 Posted October 25, 2011 Yep you start with Sion, then Nihl I think, then Kreia then your Exile if DS--it's been so long since I've finished the game LS I don't know if you pop up on the menu screen at some point or no I've had all 3 on the menu, plus seeing myself. MrPhil 58 Posted October 26, 2011 That still does not tell us what is supposed to be funky enough to get Nihilus's harem and circle beast!
Guest staticjoe66 Posted October 26, 2011 Very true and I'm sticking with my trigger theory until told I'm wrong by someone who knows for sure... That still does not tell us what is supposed to be funky enough to get Nihilus's harem and circle beast!
Guest HK-47 Posted October 26, 2011 Statement: No. You don't show up LS. I think it's because since the game is called The Sith Lords, they only have the 3 Sith in the background. 4 if you go Dark Side, though I personally don't count the Dark Exile to be Sith for reasons which are not important at this time. Guest staticjoe66 Posted October 27, 2011 No. You don't show up LS Thanks for the verification--again I haven't done a LS playthrough in a LONG time and haven't played TSL at all in a couple of months though I personally don't count the Dark Exile to be Sith So let me see if I have this right--a DS Exile defeats 3 Sith Lords in the game, but you don't think that qualifies said Exile to be a Sith? Oh kay...the Sith themselves probably would disagree with you especially considering how powerful Nihl is supposed to be...as Ric Flair says, to be the man you gotta beat the man. How does the sith apprentice become the Sith Lord? By defeating said Sith Lord...the Exile defeats not 1, not 2 but 3 Sith Lords in the game so by rite of succession a DS Exile IS a Sith Statement: No. You don't show up LS. MrPhil 58 Posted October 27, 2011 Correction: And it's Nihilus not Nihil. Nihil lived waaaaay later than Nihilus. Correction: Perhaps your processor is faulty, HK-47. That would be Darth Nihl, not Nihil.

Guest staticjoe66 Posted October 27, 2011 As I said, I don't count her as a Sith for reasons which are not important at this time And you can SAY whatever you like, that does not negate the fact you are WRONG--I suggest you take a look at Sith history as well as the history of how Sith Lords ascend before forming an inaccurate and incorrect opinion And it's Nihilus not Nihil. Guest HK-47 Posted October 28, 2011 Correction: Perhaps your processor is faulty, HK-47. That would be Darth Nihl, not Nihil. Observation: You would be correct. I must have suffered some damage on my last mission. And you can SAY whatever you like, that does not negate the fact you are WRONG--I suggest you take a look at Sith history as well as the history of how Sith Lords ascend before forming an inaccurate and incorrect opinion This isn't worth responding to... Retort: You're assuming I'm wrong when I haven't given my reasons. Therefore you are the one who is wrong. Take a chill pill and stop trying to fix everything when things aren't broken (eg. telling someone that they're wrong when you don't know why they're saying what they say/ or they don't agree with you).
