Markus Ramikin Posted August 28, 2010 Posted August 28, 2010 1. Goto's ship: The "Upgrade droid combat algorithm's" option on a console What does it do? it showed up even though neither of my party members is a droid. Bug, or something I'm not getting? 2. Mira's model while walking stealthed It used to be buggy. Did you guys fix it? or is the difference due to my different graphics card or system or something. 3. Visquis' base If you guys don't mind explaining your reasoning, I'd like to ask why the vanilla part where Mira lets the Jedi into Visquis' base was changed, so that Mira fails and Visquis has to do it himself. To me that particular bit seems less of a restoration and more of a change. It also changes the plot from advancing through the player's efforts, to something where the only reason you come out OK is because the villain is an idiot. (What's also funny is that that door will then open for the Exile. Though of course it doesn't lead anywhere). 4. * Fixed bug that would allow you to upgrade T3/HK infinite amount of time What's that about? Is it the upgrade option on Goto's ship? (Never used it before as I normally prefer to send Atton + Kreia, the two droid-haters, and have them go to town with Destroy Droid.) 5. * Fixes to Lassavou's quest * Fixes to Pylon quest * Fixed Battle of Khoonda trigger Could I please ask what was done there? I don't notice any difference at all... Quote
Hassat Hunter Posted August 28, 2010 Posted August 28, 2010 Bug, or something I'm not getting? Well, I would say it shouldn't appear without droids, but there isn't a check in place for it. Guess it shouldn't be too hard for the guys to write one though to stick. Did you guys fix it? or is the difference due to my different graphics card or system or something. Nope, so that's probably it... 4. * Fixed bug that would allow you to upgrade T3/HK infinite amount of timeWhat's that about? Is it the upgrade option on Goto's ship? (Never used it before as I normally prefer to send Atton + Kreia, the two droid-haters, and have them go to town with Destroy Droid.) Yup. * Fixes to Lassavou's quest Some issues with Fassa updates. * Fixes to Pylon quest Some issues with Lassavou and/or Fassa updates * Fixed Battle of Khoonda trigger Beats me... Quote
Markus Ramikin Posted August 29, 2010 Author Posted August 29, 2010 Thanks. Hm, I could use to know this before I dig too deeply into Onderon. Is it possible to unlock Mandalore's options through negative influence/LS choices? Or only positive, by helping him with gathering Mandalorians, and DS choices (being ruthless with Tobin etc)? Quote
Hassat Hunter Posted August 29, 2010 Posted August 29, 2010 (edited) Both. You know, like every character in the game. But I think the second meet between Bao and Mand requires High INF. Not to mention with the +INF gained from gathering the clans -INF can get a little difficult. EDIT: Just checked, needs 75 INF with Mand. EDIT2: Looks I was wrong, Mandalore is the only NPC that only allows you to unlock his stuff with +INF. We probably should fix that... Edited August 29, 2010 by Hassat Hunter Quote
Guest Darth Paulus Posted August 29, 2010 Posted August 29, 2010 3. Why the change was implemented, in the first place? :-) Quote
zbyl2 Posted August 29, 2010 Posted August 29, 2010 * Fixed Battle of Khoonda trigger Beats me... As I recall, "battle of Khoonda trigger" was something already fixed in 1.5, but was present in filefront release (and early release here, at deadlystream), and was fixed in patch. I decided to add it into readme as 1.6 change for some reason. Bug itself was something about battle not triggering if Vrook wasn't present when you talk to Zherron outside Khoonda just before the battle. Or something. Might be wrong, it's been some time since all of this happened. Quote
Hassat Hunter Posted August 29, 2010 Posted August 29, 2010 Ah, yes. But since that got fixed in the 1.5 patch I thought it would mean something different. If Vrook wasn't present (DS ending in the cave) the cutscene would just break at the point where he should tell "I will keep them off"... Quote
Markus Ramikin Posted August 29, 2010 Author Posted August 29, 2010 Battle circle reward - did you guys implement it or was it in the vanilla game? I'm asking because it contradicts what the Sergeant in charge of the battle circle says if you ask him "do I get anything if I win". And I'm pretty sure I don't remember getting the reward before (though I could be misremembering) Quote
Hassat Hunter Posted August 30, 2010 Posted August 30, 2010 Vanilla (I could swear I already posted that here, but I don't see my post :S) Quote
Markus Ramikin Posted August 30, 2010 Author Posted August 30, 2010 (edited) Hm... so what INF hits exist altogether for Mandalore? +INF recover clan on Dantooine +INF recover clan on NS +INF kill Tobin -INF spare Tobin What else? And what stuff is altogether unlockable? I think the second meet between Bao and Mand requires High INF. Not to mention with the +INF gained from gathering the clans -INF can get a little difficult.EDIT: Just checked, needs 75 INF with Mand. EDIT2: Looks I was wrong, Mandalore is the only NPC that only allows you to unlock his stuff with +INF. We probably should fix that... Yeah, a large part of Mandalore influence is helping him recover Mandalorian clans from NS and Dantooine, and those are +INF hits. Therefore to allow a Lightside character to unlock his content, I think it'd make better sense to stick to +INF, but to add a hit that doesn't require a DS action to gain Mandalore's respect. For another +INF hit, I nominate the first meeting with Kavar. If you remember I already raised this in my 1.5 report. Any of your NPCs can opine on whether you should use grenades/endager civilians, and depending on your answer, some have + or - INF hits. Mandalore is one of the NPCs missing INF hits there. Like the true warrior, he says we should avoid harming non-combatants around us. I think it'd make sense if agreeing with him could earn +INF. Edited August 30, 2010 by Markus Ramikin Quote
Hassat Hunter Posted August 30, 2010 Posted August 30, 2010 +INF: * Agree to work with Anda. * Join the crowd as a hint for Vaklu. * Random DS acts. (in vanilla you only had 1 of these, in TSLRCM you can do this infinitely like should be. Error in the glbreact.dlg. Yay for sloppy dialogue editing, eh?) So, you just gotta act like HK as LS. Take the hits, or don't get the info. Quote
Markus Ramikin Posted August 30, 2010 Author Posted August 30, 2010 (edited) "They came to hate you... for the choices they wished to make." God I love this game. "Premonition: Something is wrong. Very wrong." I love this mod too. I'm nearing the end . It's just time to do things the old-fashioned way. Edited August 31, 2010 by Markus Ramikin Quote
Markus Ramikin Posted October 24, 2010 Author Posted October 24, 2010 (edited) Pre-1.7 questions will follow now. Here's the first one: Has the Prologue always been unbeatable on Difficult? I can't pick up the mines so I can't enter the engine room and fix the engines. I don't seem to ever remember having that problem before. EDIT: nvm, I forgot I can get the proton missile. Markus Ramikin Posted October 24, 2010 Author Posted October 24, 2010 Meh, so if I understand right, VP's peragus mod is not integrated, but it's also not compatible any more? Well that's a step backwards. Isn't VP one of the big contributors? I'd have thought you guys could work together, combine your efforts, rather than exclude each other's work... I miss the improved corpses. Quote
VarsityPuppet Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 Isn't VP one of the big contributors? Hardly. I'd have thought you guys could work together, combine your efforts, rather than exclude each other's work... I miss the improved corpses. The main reason the improved corpses didn't make it in is because my new version wasn't ready in time. I'm sure it will come about in one of the patches or I'll just release my own patch. Quote
