im not going to do it any more, but i was thinking about shoulder height so that the neck and head would be holo.

as in white vs. black or colour wise (too much red)? lol i'm not sure i understand what you mean. but if its what i think it is, i chose the colors based on g0-t0s original colour scheme (black, white and red). but ill tweak it some more and then maybe i'll make some texture packs for the mod after release. edit: i think i see what you mean now, i'll tweak it but i want to see how the textures look in game first, maybe it will look good with shine and glow "channels" (idk what to call it lol)

well, those points are both true but, as much as I respect Lucas and what he created, I feel i dont always have the same viewpoint as him on the EU and how things should be handled. i feel the beauty of modding, is that you can change a game to how you feel it would be better. of course, what is good to me, might not be good to someone else. in short the reasons are these: 1) I want to learn how to mod kotor/tsl, find my way around the assets, and test my abilities. 2) I, personally, think it would be cool and i think a few others hold my view 3) I simply feel like doing it .

I'm wondering, is there a mod that allows you to train Hanharr as a Jedi/Sith. I saw the mod on kotor files, but it doesn't allow you to actually train him - he just starts out a Sith. Is there a mod that restores (or adds) this to what Obsidian originally intended, before LA shot down their idea?

For sure, it'll be for TSLRCM. As soon as I get it in game, then I'll work on it. As for M4-78 EP - as soon as it is released - I'll start working on a patch. C) I'll look in to it. We'll see. I like the idea of variety, especially with a M4-78 full of droids. E) I'll fix that for the first release, thanks for pointing out which file

rigging, rigging, rigging, i have no clue how to get the bones to rig properly so that they actually work, any good tutorials for rigging in gmax? better yet are there any people who have rigged for kotor before and can help?

I FINALY like the head, i'm gonna tweak it slightly, add glow, tone down red etc. the textures are not full quality, gmax doesnt render them at full quality, next is rigging, !yay!

i like that idea, yes it is, i am "model mashing", so some of the parts have different texture files. and the file size well be BIG, but not too HUGE, XD i decided its 2012, we have the technology, screw the size i want it to look good lol. && ok, it might not seem like he is a whole lot bigger without comparison, but he is thicker, also too thick on arms and legs = clipping XD, however, because, i totally value your opinions , i think there is a modifier some where that said something about scaling in game, i could make him wookie size. alas i havent put it in game yet, so once it is in game, then we well see a good reference on where to go from and tweak from that. edit: does any one know how gmax renders textures? it seems fishy that the textures dont seem as good as they are.

today i redid the body texture, (it wasn't high-res enough) i also made a new cape texture, (i'm thinking about making it less gray and more black) now here is my bone of contempt, the stupid head texture needs to be enhanced, but because its from another model (wardroid) the head is a small area of the actual texure (the rest is the body etc.), so to make it a decent resolution, texture size, if i'm correct, well be BIG for a head texture. so all of a sudden it came to me, would a human head work on it? (just randomly its, a droid after all), then i thought, wait g0t0 has a holo of his "human" form, so i ask you the community, would you like to see a droid head, or a holo g0t0 head (that bearded dude) on the model? (i lean towards the droid personally) p.s if enough people want it i'll try to make it if i can XD,

for the jedi robes, those are still in the assets, using them requires 2da editing if im correct, i did a mod like that on my xbox some time ago, there might already be a mod that replaces the new (tsl) robes with the kotor ones, (which are in the assets of tsl already) -

now i have the model but no bones, i think ill use the nihlus animations because of the cape (and i like em more any way XD) just starting the process now, once i have a model that well display in game, next well be GFF & 2da edits, is there a good tutorial anywhere on how to make tsl patcher install?

TSL Assets: Which Ones Remain from KotOR1?

yeah i thought about that, are they the same encodinge and every thing, because, if some owned both games could he not use the voices from kotor in tsl? i dont think one could legally re-upload them. but if, some one created a mod with the legally uploadable parts, and provided a instructions on getting the required assets from kotor and installing them to complete the mod?
