    I haven't played Mass Effect 3 and won't until April but, I know EA has a history of ruining companies they buy out. I feel sorry for Bioware the creator of Dragon Age: Origins and Star Wars: KotOR two of the best RPGs to ever exist. I don't have any sympathy for EA since they are ruining Bioware though. I wish Bioware hadn't been bought I mean imagine how awesome Dragon Age II would have been if they hadn't of had EA breathing down their necks as that game just screams "rushed by EA!". Bioware makes amazing games but, as I've said it doesn't help when you have a major publisher breathing down your neck constantly telling you to get the game out now.

    My favourites games are Zelda, KOTOR 1 and 2, Mass Effect trilogy ^^, Dragon Age (yes yes.. i love Bioware's Games ^^).

     

    Then we'll get along pretty well I think. Your username seems familiar I wonder if I had seen you around any part of the Zelda community. I have a thread about the E3 Spirit Tracks Demo/prerelease prototype I bought off of Ebay, a entire forum of my team and I's K1 restoration project, and a thread dedicated to Dragon Age: Origins.     Dragon Age: Origins is an awesome game and since it's an awesome game we obviously need a thread discussing it. I play as a Chaotic Neutral Mage, I hate the Chantry and I want what is best for the advancement of the mages. I believe in destroying anything that tries to stand in the way of freedom for the mages no matter if my actions are considered good or evil. I also romance Morrigan. Now discuss Dragon Age: Origins!

    I feel like an inferior Zelda fan. I've only ever beaten the original, OoT and Twilight Princess... :/ Though I have played most, just haven't put forth the time to beat them.

     

    Haven't even touched spirit tracks, sadly.

     

    Have you played Skyward Sword? That game is amazing, it overtook OoT as my favorite Zelda game when I beat it. Yes, Skyward Sword does have it's flaws but, truth be told all games are flawed in some way or another there is no such thing as a perfect game.

     

    My top 5 Zelda games are as follows

     

    1. Skyward Sword

    2. Ocarina of Time

    3. Majora's Mask

    4. A Link to the Past

    5. The Wind Waker

     

    By the way Hero mode in Skyward Sword and Mirrored Master Quest in OoT 3D are awesome! I love me some second quest action in Zelda here's hoping it continues in future games.

    Edit: I still consider myself a participant of #OpBlackMarch I just couldn't pass this prototype up and besides companies do not profit off of used games or protos. I still haven't bought a new game, movie, music, or seen a movie in theaters this month and I won't.

    Here's a small update to help tide everyone over in video form (I hope you don't mind me using this video Fallen Guardian). It's something I tried myself (Mandalore also tried it) but, I could never get it right but, Fallen Guardian was able to do it. It's some restored Zaerdra dialog (you can go ahead and unlist the video if you would like FG).

    The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword (Seeing how sad Zelda was that she had to "use" Link)

    Dragon Age: Origins (Warden's sacrifice, romance with Morrigan, along with some other moments)

    The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask (gloom and doom atmosphere, seeing the sadness in the lives of the characters and making them happy)

    The author, Jedi Raven, found the real appearance for Shaleena in the game's files. For some reason, it was not used in the final retail version.

     

    Would this be something y'all would consider restoring?

     

    I'd like to point out that the appearance for Shaleena is already restored by K1R, in fact it was restored last week along with almost all of the undercity's cut content.

     

    You can all direct your thanks to Fallen Guardian for his great work on the Taris Undercity.

     

    I'd have a new screen of the week up but, there isn't anything that interesting to show on Taris yet and besides I don't want to ruin all of the little surprises. ;)

    Huh, with the way the title of your thread was I thought this was going to be spam xD.

     

    Anyway on subject. You should play TSL with TSLRCM because it is just so much more complete that way. Vanilla TSL by itself is a good game but, it does feel very incomplete like you're only playing with half of the game, think of TSLRCM as the other half of the game. Trust me, don't miss out on having TSLRCM as your first TSL experience. I felt so much better playing TSL with it. As the old saying (Skyrim meme) goes "I used to play only half of TSL but, then I took TSLRCM to my PC.". Sorry guys just had to do it :P.

    I am already playin on 1.7. I like it but i thought some1 could give me 1.8 where is much more things changed... i think it's all about i can't wait on this:P But nevermind.

     

    PS. Is there a restoration content mod do KoTOR 1? If yes, cold somebody gimme a link?

     

    Well there is one currently being worked on by me and my team. We have made much progress. Before you ask, no there is not a release date. However you are free to try a small sample of the mod in the form of the Impossible Difficulty Restoration available for download on Deadly Stream. The mod is hosted on Deadly Stream and you can follow the progress in the K1R section of the forums. PS: Try keeping an eye on the Screen of the Week we may have new K1R stuff to show you.

    I can report that thanks to Fallen Guardian version 1.0 of the Taris Undercity is almost done. Expect a new screenshot of Taris to be posted soon as "Screen of the Week". Possibly next week. In the meantime though I'm going to go through my K1R screenshots and find a good one for this "Screen of the Week".

    It seems volunteers of the European Union and European Comission are in support of ACTA, defending it and not answering the questions of us, the people. More over, ACTA has a sibling. The TPPA. It's evil.

    Well even so there's one way to get them to say no on ACTA. The European people need to let the parliament know that if they ratify ACTA those who voted for it lose reelection. Politicians are always afraid of losing reelection. Yes I know about TPPA, it is indeed worse than ACTA however it is nowhere as close to being passed that is why all guns must be aimed at ACTA.

    I just posted about ACTA on the Star Wars Revisited Facebook site. being a fan edit, they would also be attacked should this bill be passed.

     

    Excellent. We all have a responsibility to get the word out about ACTA if we want our internet to be able to fend off this onslaught of censorship. Remember "Down with ACTA!".

    It's what I do. Remember this isn't just a threat to the general internet but, a threat to K1R, TSLRCM, all other beta restoring projects and the beta community. Often in the beta community prototypes are leaked and preserved if ACTA is enacted we would see the end of that and I luvz me some beta. It's not guaranteed we would see an end to mods but, it is a possibility with how vague the language in the treaty is. Under ACTA most of Youtube would be wiped out, you would be monitored 24/7 and free speech would be stifled all under the guise of copyright.

    Lamar Smith is a hypocrite. At least President Obama came out against SOPA/PIPA and it is my hope that he will come out against this bill if it gains traction. I cannot believe Democrats in congress are supporting internet censorship, as a Democrat myself it makes me want to puke. Franklin D. Roosevelt, John F. Kennedy, and all the great Democratic presidents of the past would be appalled. These Democrats supporting internet censorship makes me want to become a independent.

    By the way I thought this through and I am now going to make a announcement.

     

     

    Sleheyron will not be restored...in the first version of K1R (which is numbered 1.0.)

     

    Sleheyron will be restored in K1R version 2.0.

     

     

    K1R 1.0 will still have Return to Dantooine, the Czerka Korriban offices, etc though. Basically K1R 2.0 will be any content we may have missed (if any), bug fixes, and Sleheyron.
