  1. At the minimum we will be taking a look at that I mean we want to if possible but, if it turns out not being possible then don't be disappointed as K1R will still have plenty of other awesome things. The only major thing I would say stands in the way of restoring that is the fact that it's never been done before, hell I don't think anyone has ever messed with the swoop stuff regarding the KotOR games. So in short we don't know but, we'll look into it.
  2. I feel for you Mandalore, we've got a similar situation over here in the USA. Here's how it was 3 decades ago. Democratic Party - Composed of true liberals and moderates. Republican Party - Composed of true conservatives and moderates. Here's how it is now. Democratic Party - a party of mostly moderates, some more sane conservatives, and very few real liberals (Senator Wyden who stood up to internet censorship is one of the few who remain). Republican Party - a party of conservatives and people who shouldn't even hold office with how much stupidity they spew.
  3. Under "file information" it says "TSLRCM Compatible: Yes"
  4. It should be it does say it is TSLRCM compatible.
  5. I blame the slide right on the batshit insane Republicans driving the moderates out of their party. Hell I think the only 2 moderates left in the Republican Party are Jon Huntsman and possibly Buddy Roemer. If the insane right didn't drive the moderates out of their party then the moderates wouldn't have become Democrats and thus the Democratic Party would not have slid to the right these past 3 decades.
  6. You're absolutely right Mandalore. In the United States it's Center-Right - The Democratic Party (vote for us cause we're not insane!!!) or Batshit Insane-Right - Republican Party (We're batshit insane and will destroy the USA before your very eyes!!!) There's no where for liberals like me who believe in free speech, civil liberties, civil rights, war only as a very last resort, ect to go.
  7. Just beat Xenoblade a few days back and I must say I am quite impressed with the game. In fact I'd call it one of the best JRPGs I've ever played. I thought the plot was great with the whole the Mechon attacked your village supposedly killing someone important to you so you take the fight to them and then eventually after a bunch of plot twists you end up fighting a God who created your own world!!! My best party was Shulk (for his Monado abilities), Fiora (Speed-Tank), and Sharla (Heal/Support). I remember fighting Disciple Lorithia who was Lvl.75 who summoned several lvl.70s to aid her and I beat her with a lvl.73 party consisting of Melia (player controlled), Fiora (with Ether Frame), and Sharla (for heal/support) like a boss. I thought how they were able to have this huge story, yet a ton of sidequests, and a huge world with a ton of exploration was amazing. I also thought the environments were a sight to behold. One of the best JRPGs and one of the best Wii games. I would definitely recommend it. 10/10
  8. CISPA is horrifying, I've already signed several petitions against it and there has been pressure on the White House to oppose it. If the White House does end up opposing it if it passes the house and senate then President Obama will probably sign it in private and when people find out he did he'll probably make up some excuse like "It was veto proof anyway" to try to fool his liberal/progressive base into accepting internet censorship. My political beliefs are like the old school Dems of FDR and Kennedy not this corporate Dem bullshit. Sad how the Democratic Party used to stand for ordinary people yet no longer does, FDR is turning over in his grave. As for Ron Paul I do like some of his views such as ending the US involvement in foreign conflicts and ending the war on drugs and how he seems pretty good on civil liberties. The one major thing that worries me about Paul is him wanting to get rid of the safety net which I think we really need to keep. I kinda wish the US had a viable "Pirate Party" to fight censorship of the internet but, getting a 3rd viable party with the way our electoral system works is nigh impossible. Anyway enough of my political ranting .
  9. Okay I just need to know how to get GFFEditor to recognize it. I have the custom .ssf file finished. I suppose that the value has to be something other than the name of the file I'm not sure what though.
  10. Yep FG and I polished up the Vulkar sublevel so well that it will look like it's from the final version of the game. There were 4 versions of the Vulkar sublevel for K1R V1.0 - a bare-bones restoration via only connecting the sub-level to the main level via a warp script. V2.0 - addition of certain items (didn't quite fit), fixed the appearance of one NPC V3.0 - removal of certain items, addition of different items, addition of VO for NPCs missing it, addition of missing soundsets. V4.0 - got rid of the too many of one kind of item thing adding in more variety of items, beefed up the enemies, added journal entries, added a mini-boss. There are also a couple of surprises in the Vulkar Base main level as well. I am responsible for Sub-level versions 1.0 to 3.0 and FG is responsible for the additions in 4.0. I restored the Lower City as well but, FG connected the areas for me. I also worked on restoring the Trask soundset which is finished I just need to figure out how to get KTool to recognize it.
  11. I'll take a look at it as that sounds like something K1R should take care of.
  12. They better give me something that ups my EMS in single player because tying the ending to multiplayer was the most idiotic thing Bioware has ever done.
  13. Although the single player is solid I hate how Bioware tied what ending you get to multiplayer. I want a solid single player experience I could care less about multiplayer and tying multiplayer to EMS was a horrible decision that screwed those who only want to play single player over. Here is Ghirahim to sum it all up.
  14. I cannot add a higher difficulty option because Impossible is the highest difficulty that Bioware cut and because K1 only allows 4 slots for difficulty which gives us Easy, Normal, Difficult. and Impossible. The other 2 cut difficulties were Very Easy and Hard. There is nothing higher than Impossible unless I want to go outside of the realm of restoring content. Perhaps maybe if I feel like it I could do a even higher difficulty as a standalone mod but, not for K1R.
  15. I have been jumping from one hobby to another this week first it was replaying Dragon Age, then replaying Skyward Sword, and now I'm modding KotOR and I still haven't finished replaying DA:O or LoZ:SS. Well on the bright side more K1R progress :D.

  16. I dare you to try to beat the game on Impossible Difficulty. Go ahead it's in the downloads section. Also every time you die on Impossible Difficulty I will somehow know it and will play "You are dead" every time you die. lol.
  17. I would like to get feedback from the community on how hard you thought Impossible difficulty was for those who played it as I haven't personally been able to do a complete run-through of K1 with it. From what I gathered when I tested it with it on though it made Bendak Starkiller near impossible for example. Also this song right here is what I think best represents Benak on Impossible difficulty http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9pPQnhhUqtU Anyway I'd like to get feedback from you guys. So how was "Impossible Difficulty"?
  18. I'm making modifications to Taris while listening to the Zelda 25th Anniversary Orcheastrated Soundtrack. I know I'm weird right? Get over it! :P

      ZM90

Some people may think so Extreme so I was mainly addressing those people :P. Also it's official lower city taris is almost done, it's just got a couple of bugs that need to be ironed out and for the modules to be connected for the swoop track and lower apartment.

    2. Boilpoint

      Boilpoint

Sorry to be the jerk that asks it, but when lower city is done, what percentage do you estimate K1R to be at?

    3. ZM90

      ZM90

I'd say a good 40% by my estimate. That means yes we do have a lot done but, there's still a lot more work to do. If it weren't for mine, Jatku, and Fallen Guardian's keen eyes of discovering new content I imagine the percentage would be higher, it seems like we discover new content every week for some reason. The percentage is subject to change depending on if more content is discovered or not. Also I will not give a release date I don't want to shoot myself in the fo...

  19. Yep not enough people have awoken from their corporate induced trance of reality television, big blockbuster movies, ect. A lot of people in this country don't even realize what freedoms they're losing they just automatically assume the US Constitution protects their freedoms without them having to pay attention to any attempts to reduce them or take them away altogether by both corporate parties might I add. I think a lot of Americans just fall for the assumption of "It can't happen here in America." which is a flat out wrong assumption, the slow eroding away of the Bill of Rights has been happening since the year 2000 whenever a fraud was placed in the highest office of the land by the US Supreme Court. Believe me I fell for the "Hope & Change" thing in 2008 because I grew up partly in the Clinton years with a good economy and partly in the Bush years which horrified me. I thought that Obama was going to be the one who would lead us away from the tyranny of the Bush years but, I was wrong and I was duped but, so were a lot of other people. Yes, Barack Obama is a better President than George W. Bush but, that isn't saying much considering he still works for the corporate powers he's just better at masking it. He is basically to me the lesser of the two evils.
  20. http://www.alternet....e_Calls/?page=1 At this point it's clear to me that we no longer have a government for of and by the people. Welcome to the United Corporate Police States of America. Both Bush and Obama administrations need to be charged with treason for the egregious destruction of the Bill of Rights and their spitting on the Constitution of the United States in general. For other examples of treasonous acts see: The Patriot Act, NDAA, the recent bill that was passed to clamp down on protesting, SOPA, PIPA, ACTA. There's only so much people can take, I fear it's going to get really bad in the US really soon (as if it isn't already bad enough) .
  21. Breaking News! Cox Communications and Sonic are NOT participating in the internet spying scheme . "For example, companies like Sonic and Cox Communications have a history of fighting for their users where they can, and are notably absent from this arrangement." Source: Electronic Frontier Foundation via https://www.eff.org/deeplinks/2012/03/graduated-response-deal-steamrollers-towards-july-1-launch I can see Cox and Sonic becoming very wealthy companies if they continue their policy of NOT participating in this scheme. Send a thank you to Cox and Sonic for not participating in the spying on their users and if possible switch. Internet freedom ftw! As always I will keep you updated if the situation changes and those companies decide to do something extremely evil. So i can haz video game betas without fear of being spied on? Yes I can (note: that is subject to change depending on if the MAAFIA can get Cox and Sonic to join their evil quest to destroy the internetz).
  22. The one where I'm a pretty cool guy who restores beta and doesn't afraid of anything. Joking aside I really don't know don't read much outside the internet honestly. I find books on paper to be inefficient when we have the internet.
  23. Indeed we are controlled by the rich and people are waking up. Why do you think the US government and their corporate masters are afraid of the Occupy Movement? Just recently the government and their corporate masters moved the G8 summit to Camp David out of fear of the movement. Believe me I used to support Obama but, then he and his masters attacked the internet and I woke up. Both parties are bought and paid for and every election in the USA is a choice of the lesser of the two evils.
  24. Yes I know and according to the US government Anonymous and the Occupy Movement may be "terrorists". Translation: Anyone who speaks out against our slow eroding away of the Bill of Rights or speaks about how the government is bought and paid for by wall street is a terrorist. Translation2: The United States was founded by "terrorists". Edit: Here's a even better explanation for what's going on http://www.rawstory.com/rs/2012/03/15/american-isps-to-launch-massive-copyright-spying-scheme-on-july-12/
  25. Another thing is what the ISPs will be doing is clearly going to have constitutional problems within the United States and sooner or later their actions will be challenged in court. Not that our executive branch, legislative branch, or supreme court obeys the constitution, they've already proven they don't. I honestly think there is going to be a revolution within the USA with the increasing clamp downs on our constitutional rights and I think the Occupy Movement and the movements worldwide waging a peaceful war to protect the internet is only the start of that revolution. Whether or not the revolution will be peaceful is up to the corporate powers but, knowing them they may clamp down so much that violence may become the only option and that's a scary thought and something I do not want to happen as I want the revolution to be peaceful.
