  1. Upon completing the game, here's the subsequent issues I found. The fix of "Disable Vertex Buffer Objects=1" works, but it absolutely causes consistent crashes in a few locations. I simply saved the game often, and when a crash occurred I reverted the fix back to normal until I moved past that particular location. I was able to complete the game doing this with minimal annoyance. I had to it something like 6 times. But a crash is always annoying, and I have no other solution to offer yet. I was also getting unrelated crashes. Sometimes the game would crash with a C++ runtime error, and sometimes it would CTD with no explanation at all, even with the fix off. But unlike the above crashes, these crashes were not consistent. It wouldn't crash again when I loaded back up and tried again. I'll do some testing on a new save to track down the culprit, so I can rule out this mod as a contributing factor.
  2. Here's my experience getting this mod to work in 2026. It was a struggle, but it is mostly working now. I will document any later or remaining issues. Note that I am just a modder, so I don't know why things work, only that they do or don't. Every mod is from Deadly Stream or Nexus, never Steam Workshop. Mods installed, in this order: Base game (Steam, C drive, non-protected folder, set to run as Admin) TSLRCM 1.8.6 [installer] Kirin's Female Playable Characters (so I can play a Twi'lek) [put files in override] Handmaiden and Female Exile - Disciple and Male Exile Romance [installer] Holowan Duplisaber Beta .215B (this mod) [installer] Holowan Duplisaber Fix [put files in override] Ultimate High Resolution Texture Pack [put files in override] Fixes: Texture/Mesh issues: Open swkotor2.ini, found where you installed the game. Change "DisableVertexBufferObjects=1" to "Disable Vertex Buffer Objects=1" (without the quotation marks obviously) Wrong colours: Don't use VP's Hi Poly Tin Cans 1.1 (and probably any other lightsaber mod besides the aforementioned Duplisaber Fix) Remaining issues: Kreia doesn't recognize the lightsaber. The one I made with Bao-dur is the only one I have, and she still thinks I don't have one. It seems the sabers from this mod are not recognized by the game for checks like that one. Buying crystals from the "Crystal Surplus" menu at the workbench doesn't work. It will take your credits, but you don't get the crystal. Tips: Save yourself some time and effort by looking at this image gallery of every hilt. I think they're all here. But the images don't do the sabers justice. They look better in-game. Personally, I like the Rose hilt for red blades. http://imgur.com/a/BPofz/all Freedon Nadd's lightsaber is found under the "Short" lightsaber section and has the +2 defense, -2 attack modifiers of a short saber, but visually has the length of a long saber. This mod doesn't give you the ability to make more lightsabers. It simply turns the upgrade slot for crystals into a slot for new upgrades that change both the colour and hilt.
  3. I'm having an issue that I've seen others report on other mods. When I run the installer, I am never prompted to choose the game directory despite the installer saying "user selected." Then, when I press Install, the installer hangs at "Installation started <timestamp>..." and never proceeds. Any idea what's causing this? My set-up is pretty normal; WIN 11, SteamLibrary on C drive root directory not Program Files.
