No worries, I understand. Might be best to get some sleep and wait for the pain to pass, it's certainly not a good idea to mod a game while in pain!
If it's still the resolution thing, for KotOR1 there is an automated patching tool for the .gui files and the executable somewhere in the downloads section, you will have to look for it. ( I don't play KotOR1 anymore as I ported it to KotOR2 instead and work solely on that )
If it's KotOR2 I am pretty sure the same exists, or it might just be instructions on what values to hexedit and what .gui files to download.
Your best bet might be to look through the neocities guide for the mod builds and just focus on the resolution parts of the guides.
