    I was wondering: does the music from KotOR1 and KotOR2 that is included in SWTOR have a higher bit rate in SWTOR than in their original games?  If so, perhaps someone should consider making a mod to to take advantage of that.

      Have you reset the file path (by right-clicking)? That always worked for me.

      No, from experience I think that if the file path is incorrect, it will simply not show anything.

    If I were to pick up Rebel Assault 1 and 2 for myself and it was the same price at Steam and GOG, which distributor should I choose and why?

      I would think whichever one you already use, or use more. If you use neither, pick whichever one you could imagine using more in the future. If you use both frequently, I'm stumped.

       

      For instance, I would choose Steam because I use Steam and not GOG.

    Now working on my dedicated Impossible Difficulty playthrough. It's turning out to be easier than I expected. Blog for it should be coming soon.

      If you and others think it would be entertaining, I could start over and record a video version instead. Only did most of Taris so far, which took just 2 and a half hours, so not too much loss.

    I mostly like Kaidon Jorn's SLM mod... but when it adds a boss that can heal >300 health with one Death Field cast, and sometimes casts it twice in a round, it gets to be a bit much...

      I found one way to work around it... incapacitate the OP bosses using mod-added Force powers that can't be resisted ;)

    Am I the only one who thinks if Rey was a Skywalker they would've told us in TFA, and not make us wait till the next movie? The build up is too high for such a lame outcome.

    And so, another playthrough of K1 passes (Female, Dark Side). K1R 1.2 had some new surprises for me, and I did stuff I normally don't do, so it was very refreshing.

      Well, I'm there so far, except for some rakghouls that respawned in basically what was the middle of the fight. But I'm sure there are some boss battles that I'll have to give up and lower the difficulty for.

    Playing with Impossible difficulty does have its annoying times... like when two times in a row I die within five minutes to a single rakghoul. It's really killed my enthusiasm for playing KOTOR at the moment.

      Hm, I believe that last time I ended up changing the difficulty to a non-impossible level for the Sith Governor. Well, for this time, we'll have to wait and see whether I can get past this rakghoul first!

      The good thing about Impossible difficulty is I don't really feel guilty about reducing it for really tough fights.

      I haven't conceded impossibility yet. I just don't feel like trying that many times right now, especially with schoolwork and Civ 4 also vying for my attention.

    Are their any mods incompatible with the TSLRCM 1.8.5 that are worth getting?

      Not as far as I know unless you want to try out the RoR demo or the KOTOR3: Jedi Masters mod. (The former is kinda short for obvious reasons, and I'd say the latter is good for a single playthrough).
