Pre-War Style Silver & Gold Trimmed Jedi Robes 1.0

About This File

Adds K1-style Jedi robes with silver and gold trim, styled after the “Silverlined Jedi Robe” mod by Cerasumat, which no longer appears to be available for download.

Use KSE or console command to add items a_robe_47 and a_robe_48 to your inventory.

Note: This uses the K1-style Jedi robes mesh. However, it is not a port. While the original medium sized model was replaced by the new movie-style robe for TSL, Obsidian left in the original K1 large and small models for both males and females, along with the female texture. I have rescaled these models to the same size as the medium model, along with making some UV adjustments for the male model to fix various texture stretching issues.

Warning: In order not to replace the existing Obsidian robe models, I have overriden the J model slot – i.e. Revan/Star Forge robes – with the K1-style Jedi robes model. As a result, this mod is not compatible with any other mod that uses PFBJ/PMBJ models, i.e. any Revan/Star Forge robes in TSL mods, or that replaces the model in the J slot in the same manner.

These look really awesome. It's really well done.

Would it be possible to make a red trimmed version as well?

hmm. still no robes in the list.  maybe I have a mod that overrides the model in the J slot? what could that be?  sorry didn't mean to be a nuisance.

Yeah, the issue is KSE is looking at the base game's Override folder, not the Workshop mod folder's Override. The only way to deal with that is to edit the registry and set the TSL directory to the mod's folder.

i set the tsl directory to the mod's folder. but which registry do i need to set? and is it to the folder itself or the override inside?

thank you in advance you've been a big help.

Don't worry about doing that. It's a bad idea I just spouted off without much thought as to the consequences.

The easiest solution is just to put copies of the UTIs (a_robe_47.uti/a_robe_48.uti) and icons (ia_revan_047.tga/ia_revan_048.tga) in the vanilla Override folder (\steamapps\common\Knights of the Old Republic II\override). KSE will read those UTIs and add the item info to your save file (the icons are just to stop it popping an error). The game will actually pull the information from the Workshop TSLRCM Override folder.

i put them in the regular game override and then went to kse and it reads error message can't use an undefined value as an array reference. and they're in red letters but they are showing up now in kse at least.

You mentioned the game will pull the info from the workshop override should I put them their instead?

Well, well, well. It is amazing what you run into when you google your old usernames out of boredom. I made the silverline and ceremonial jedi robes back in 2004 when i was a wee college student. I lost the original files and uploaded files a long time ago. It is very amusing to see people actually still liking the crappy little re-textures i made then. Enjoy folks! :)

I don't won't say anything, but when the mod is installed, it just crashing at me when I want to change the clothing in character menu.
If anyone has a problem like this, just delete the mod.

There should be no reason the mod should cause a crash if installed properly.

I don't why it's crashing. Maybe something wrong with appearance.2da file. Maybe I drop the armors in my stash with KSE.

But the mod is installed properly. I runned with this costume the whole Telos.

Out of curiosity, should I use these textures in K1 if i'm using JC's cloaked robes? I'm running the other version at the moment, but it keeps stretching out the back to form a really ugly cloak.
