About This File

This was inspired by a mod I saw way back when on Filefront that gave the Exile a custom gray Jedi Robe. All it was however, was just a thing to soak up blaster bolts. I am here to give my own take on this robe, and what perfect time than after Kain released his Character Robes mod. This mod has a custom description along with the feat to make it for the PC only, utilizing that War Veteran feat. I have included a custom icon, and it is found in Daraala's store. The PC has unique dialogue for the first time on meeting Daraala. I may fix some grammar issues if I get enough requests.

 

"Well Squall, what if we're past the first meeting with Daraala?"

 

Well, use the save game editor (the working one FS has released) or type in sl_exile to get the robe ingame.

 

This acts as a teaser to my up in coming robe expansion pack with many other choices to come. Stay tuned.

 

Required Mod is Deadman's Movie robe pack, and my Movie Robes pack.

 

I will make a version for the original set of robes if I get enough requests.

 

Installation: Copy all files to Override in the Kotor II Directory

 

Bugs: None reported for now, if something comes up let me know and I will fix it ASAP.

I like the robe, but I've encountered a problem with this mod: it seems like the g_tresmillow007.utp file in this mod causes the Exile's Gray Jedi robe and the Exile's Armband to spawn in the lockers in not only the Harbinger, but in the Peragus Mining Facility as well. Is there any way to fix it?

After some googling about utp files, I think I've found out the cause:

 

"TSL re-uses the same filenames through the different modules, so plopping a utp file in the override is a potentially game breaking thing to do now... as such you actually need scripting to add items to containers, or more simply, spawn a new one of your own creation instead."

 

"To add to the invantory of the Harbingers Exile's Room's Footlocker placeable you will need to make a custom script that adds items to that container that is run from some in-game event"

I noticed that as soon as I uploaded it, and I'm workin on the script now to make it a custom locker. The lack of not actually being able to access the site on my PC at home does kinda kill it though.

Like the robe, but I'm having issues with the textures not showing up properly, I have deadman's movie robe pack installed as required so I'm not sure what the issue might be. Should all the files not be placed in override?

Finally fixed the issue and have it set for Daraala, I also have a script set up if anyone wants me to add it back to the Harbinger in the PC's footlocker. Also for the texture not showing up, did you copy everything ot the override folder? Make sure that the required mods are installed first, and that you did put anything from mine or Deadman's in any subfolder.

Anyone else have issues with Daraala's dialogue not working? She acted as if I had already decided to give the dead salvager corpses to Zherron and it prevented me from being able to complete the quests which involved talking to her.
