INSTALLATION

Unzip somewhere and run the file "TSLPatcher - Install Effixian's Son of Vaklu.exe".

DESCRIPTION
-----------------------
This mod adds a player character that uses PMHH01's* head model, with a new texture.

There's no zombie dark side corruption, light side has brown eyes, fully dark has the yellow Sith eyes, halfway is a mix of the two.

*PMHH = Player Male Head Hispanic.

I recommended using redrob41's mod below, it fixes clipping issues that this head model has:

UNINSTALLING

1. Remove the following files from your override folder:
PMHCSoV.tga
PMHCSoVd1.tga
PMHCSoVd2.tga
po_PMHCSoV.tga
po_PMHCSoVd1.tga
po_PMHCSoVd2.tga

2. If you haven't installed any mods after this mod then you can get the following files from the mod's backup folder and put them back in your override folder:
appearance.2da
heads.2da
portraits.2da

Doing this when you did add another mod might result in the later mod no longer being available in the game.

My favorite head for the exile by far! However, can you recommend the best way/program to add a scar to the face? Being a war veteran I think it fits the character well. 

I am aiming to achieve something like Azkul's scar (without the blind eye):

Very few characters have non symmetrical textures. Most have one side of the face and that gets mirrored. Exactly the same scar on both sides looks a bit too unnatural.

It's possible to change that, but I don't have the skills for it.

You could repurpose Azkul's head, change the texture. The first caucasian player head (PMHC01) also has a scar, on his cheek.
Both textures are mostly symmetrical but they have a small part with the scar part that goes on top of the symmetrical bit.

Ah, yes. I forgot about the issue of symmetrical sides of KOTOR faces. I wouldn't be repurposing these heads as I like yours the best. However, what occurred to me is if it's possible to take that small part that goes over the symmetrical bit from Azkul's face and try and place it on top of this one. It probably won't work and will be way beyond my skills, but I'm willing to give it a try.

A few people can change the texture layout, I'm not one of them. You can ask in General Kotor/TSL Modding.

Yeah, my idea would certainly not work the way I thought. I mean if you can't do it, it should be perfectly clear that it is beyond my skills. I am curious though, so I will ask in the forum. I don't feel comfortable asking anyone to do it over your mod, as it is your work. So if I can learn the way and manage to do it myself, that's great. If not, oh well... this is still my favorite male exile head I will use in the future.

Oh, but then it's almost the same as the vanilla PMHH01.
I don't really like doing mods that change so very little, it's quite a lot of work for such a subtle variation.
