Edit to SotOR

I realize I post a lot, but this is more a, maybe I can figure it out myself with some guidance sorta deal.

I have Kaidon Jorn's Sabers of the Old Republic installed. Currently, I have a minor pet peeve regarding the color of the lightsaber blade used on the unique model for Bastila. I was wondering if anyone knew how I could turn the blade from its current amber to regular yellow? Bearing in mind I also use JC's saber blade mod. Sorry if this is the wrong thread for this.

Amber? Seems like that would be a unique texture, which makes things easy. I've never used the mod myself, link it.

No link exists anymore, so I'm simply posting my copy. 

 

The lightsaber in question is called Bastila's Mediator. From what I can see, the weapons files are either prefixed with "bast" or have the numeric designation of 150. Not 100% on that though.

There are two versions of the hilt, the one you are interested in is w_dblsbr_150 which uses an animated version of w_lsabregold01 (the other uses a red blade). There are a couple of ways you can tackle the problem. The easiest is:

1. Grab MDLEdit
2. Copy w_dblsbr_150.mdl and w_dblsbr_150.mdx from your Override somewhere
3. Run MDLEdit
4. Set the game to KOTOR1
5. File->Load and point it to the MDL
6. Edit->Textures to open the texture window
7. Left click on  w_lsabregold01 and it will allow you to edit the filename
8. Change it to w_lsabreyelo01
9. Close the texture window
10. File->Save->Binary
11. Copy the modified MDL/MDX and paste into your Override folder, overwriting if prompted
