superSzym Posted April 25, 2017 Posted April 25, 2017 Since this is the first time I play with PartySwap, maybe this request is pointless, but what I ask for is removing the holorecord overlay from Coruscant Jedi Council scene in a way that could be compatible with PartySwap. From mods that could potentially edit holorec.dlg, I also use SLM 2.0. Is any additional editing required for these mods to work together? Quote
Kexikus Posted April 25, 2017 Posted April 25, 2017 All you'd need to do is open PartySwap's holorec.dlg in the dlg editor and then go through all nodes and change "CamVidEffect" from "VIDEO_EFFECT_SECURITY_CAMERA" to "N/A". That would be really tedious but not exactly difficult to do. Or you could use TSL Patcher's ChangeEdit to check for changes in PartySwap's holorec.dlg compared to TSLRCM's holorec.dlg. Then make your own small TSLPatcher that applies these edits to a holorec.dlg file already in the Override and run it after installing the No Overlay mod. You might want to check if any nodes received the overlay while doing that but I doubt it since PartySwap most likely edits the post-recording part of the dialog file. And my download of SLM has no holorec.dlg, no idea why it would in your case. Quote
DarthTyren Posted April 25, 2017 Posted April 25, 2017 No need to make your own TSLPatcher, if the video effect really bugs you all that much, you can just extract the holorec.dlg from 950COR.mod and tediously remove all of them yourself. The only thing I changed in that file is removed all the gender checks. Quote
Hassat Hunter Posted May 24, 2017 Posted May 24, 2017 *cough* http://deadlystream.com/forum/files/file/396-coruscant-scene-no-overlay/ Should work just fine if you use the H4F version. Quote
