134340Goat 121 Posted June 20, 2016 Hm.... it isn't working. Is there something I'm missing? I'm going right to the folder for Windows and hitting the .exe
Animal 1 Posted June 21, 2016 Stupid question, but did you unzip the files? Running the EXE while its zipped throws a copy into a temp folder which doesnt have the necessary datafolder to run the program
jc2 585 Posted June 21, 2016 I'm kinda confused, it just gives you a random head when you go to select a PC? Or do you pick a head and it just randomly assigns one for you? Is there anything added or is it a neat random button for indecisive people like myself.
Animal 1 Posted June 21, 2016 It gives you random everything so you can have a random build. You can of course select your own player face when you actually make your character, but part of the fun is letting the randomness build your character for you, then playing accordingly

Love the interface and concept. Only gripe is the typo of "sentinel"
Malkior 480 Posted June 22, 2016 I'm so sad I've never heard of this before! This is exactly what the character creation needed, as it's hard to break from one's character patterns which often leads to bland or otherwise similar characters to what that user is used to making. I know I will use this mod as much as possible when I start my next playthrough.
Guest R2-X2 Posted July 26, 2016 Cool idea! Looking at the creator, I would suggest two things: - Switch the positions of CON and INT to reflect the game's positions - Sentinel is spelled with an e, not "Sentinal"
Animal 1 Posted August 21, 2016 Allright, I uploaded a new version for you guys. Not really a big deal, just those 2 errors mentioned. For those of you that have been using this program, let me know what general quality of life fixes you would like, and share some of your builds if you have them available
Animal 1 Posted August 11, 2024 (edited) Hey guys, ive built the application in WebGL so it can now be run in browser without any downlaods, and will still save screenshots for you to keep track of your generated characters https://animal31.itch.io/kotorgenerator Edited August 11, 2024 by Animal
Animal 1 Posted 22 hours ago (edited) Hello There, https://animal31.itch.io/kotorgenerator/devlog/1103048/big-ol-update Theres been a sizable update Changes- The Engine has been updated to the newest Unity release, taking care of that little hiccup There's been a graphical overhaul, which should make text more readable, and the screen more resizable There has been an update to the Attribute generation such that it generates more extremes more uniformly, such as 8s and 16s This might be a little bit glitchy, so please let me know if you encounter and illegal attribute distrobution New for this update- The generator will now select a weapon style for you, from Single, Dual, or Double (IE, a Blaster Rifle). - It will automatically display which weapon to use, based on which feat was generated, while selecting from relevant styles. A ranged feat will give you ranged weapons, a blaster pistol feat will choose between single and dual wielding, Two Weapon Fighting will give you Dual Wield or Double Bladed, and so on and so forth You can now select the option to allow for odd numbered attributes. Previous versions were based purely upon my own play style as I was the only one using it, which meant I pre-optimized for maximizing attribute modifiers at the beginning of the game, but a player may vary well want to optimize for items and equipment that might grant +1 strength, for example. This option might also make for extremely suboptimal builds which could be just as interesting, who am I to deny the player that The Option to select both Handmaiden and Disciple in Kotor 2. Going off the above point, I originally only played this game on Xbox, running this app in Geany on my free 2009 laptop, with no regards to modding. Now, you have access to mods at your finger tips that allow for such a thing. Plus, its established canon that the Exile travelled with both You can now select both Mira and Hanharr, in the same vein, should a mod allow for that Dark Side Mira and Light Side Hanharr are now options. Allowing for an interesting character dynamic, forcing you to stay Lightside to recruit Mira, before falling to the Darkside to get your prestige class, for example These are, of course, all optional, despite my best efforts I am not yet your father so how you play is up to you As always, be sure to post your builds and how the playthrough went, i'm very interested to see the stories that have come from this https://animal31.itch.io/kotorgenerator Edited 22 hours ago by Animal
