134340Goat 116 Posted January 24, 2016 Is the Dantooine door skip glitch fixed in any way by TSLRCM? Sort of destroys the game and makes most of it moot
Fair Strides 508 Posted January 24, 2016 For those that don't have a clue (like Zbyl2 and me), could you explain what the glitch is when you ask if it's been fixed?
134340Goat 116 Posted January 25, 2016 Oh, sorry. Thought it was known. Speedrunners use it for any% runs If you go to Dantooine the first time and stand in front of the locked door to the Enclave, you can spawn party members just so they appear in the door. You can then walk in and the game will think you've found all the Jedi Masters. If you've done Dxun and have Visas, you can then finish the entire game from then on, bypassing everything else Here's an example of it in vanilla. 99% sure it works with TSLRCM too, but not sure about with M4
milestails 264 Posted January 25, 2016 Kreia: "It is different. It has been some time." More like it has been no time! In no time at all! Wow, I never knew about this loophole. Fascinating.
Dant95 2 Posted January 25, 2016 That wasn't so hard or too tricky to break. From the look of it, it certainly was not discovered by accident. How did people discover this in the first place is beyond me.

134340Goat 116 Posted January 25, 2016 Is there any way to prevent this from working? Maybe like put some rocks in front of the entrance before it's rebuilt or something

How did people discover this in the first place is beyond me. I imagine it was found in a similar way to the walkmesh-glitching on Citadel Station that allows you go access the restricted areas and get outside the containment fields in the Hangars... Is there any way to prevent this from working? Maybe like put some rocks in front of the entrance before it's rebuilt or something That would definitely fix it, but they're abusing a game mechanic here with the teleportation, so I'm not really sure if the TSLRCM team would opt to fix this or not. How many people actually want to use it?
Dant95 2 Posted January 25, 2016 It was discovered by accident I do believe Accident or not. I'm still surprised that people manage to discover this in the first place. I imagine it was found in a similar way to the walkmesh-glitching on Citadel Station that allows you go access the restricted areas and get outside the containment fields in the Hangars... That would definitely fix it, but they're abusing a game mechanic here with the teleportation, so I'm not really sure if the TSLRCM team would opt to fix this or not. I forgot about that glitch. Is it still present in the latest version of TSL and TSLRCM? I'm not sure if it's a top priority to get rid of this glitch since it only occurs when player use it on purpose. zbyl2 811 Posted January 25, 2016 First I heard someone mention it but yeah, due to the way game moves NPCs you can go behind pretty much any closed door whenever you'd like. You could probably enter HK Factory that way on your first visit to Telos with TSLRCM. It's not worth fixing though given the amount of work it'd require versus amount of people who will ever run into it.
