Markus Ramikin Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 I think it's because it's set to kick for inactivity. Or so I presume. This means you can't just hang out in there while doing something else until more people show up. So if there's a setting for this, it might be worth changing. Quote
milestails Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 I've chatted in there a couple of times......long time ago though. Quote
Mandalore Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 There were about 5 people there on New Year's Eve, but besides that, no one's been there for years and no one's been there since. Quote
Malkior Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 I only used it a few times when I was first invited here. However, I personally see a potential for it to replace having long-winded PMs all the time when we can get a majority of our ideas communicated with one-another; that is, if it is utilized. (Especially considering it takes space to store all of our archived conversations) Thing is, it's hard to get people to actually use it when PMs are what we normally default to. Though it could be quite helpful for those of us who are on here for hours at a time _ But such action would require coordinating between members, so it would be harder.. ]/ My (somewhat) brief explanation of how I feel about the chat system Quote
HK-47 Posted February 20, 2015 Posted February 20, 2015 Statement: I forget it exists. It's useful for instant feedback while modding. Quote
Malkior Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 A great place for idea generation. Recently it's become incredibly useful for instant feedback and mod assistance, as well. 2 Quote
Rece Posted February 22, 2015 Posted February 22, 2015 Yeah I've recommended several things to modders . Would it be possible to remove the kick for inactivity function? 1 Quote
stevo456 Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 chat isn't just a place for idea generation or instant feedback it also is good place to ask for help with bugs or glitches when I first used it FS was in chat and he helped me fix a glitch with my game and so far since I started going to chat more often I find new comers asking for the same type of help I need when I came here Quote
