That's good to hear, thanks. I actually like Peragus maybe because it's one of the few areas you're tight on resources and, to a lesser degree, skills; there's genuine mystery and tension (partly because of your weakened state); and I really enjoy the dungeon crawling aspect of the Kotor games. But it's not a segment conducive to repeat playthroughs.

Started my M4-78 play through. The mod really grew, since last time I played it. The industrial zone has a bit of lag due to huge amount of droids.

And I have found only one issue so far: the missing voice line of IS-56 in the industrial zone, when he says "Last time I've seen him was around 97 hours before first reports about a radiation leak  in the Central Zone. Haven't seen him since"

Also, when the two Central Zone units are threatening escaped Environmental unit, one of the dialog lines has the wrong camera angle showing the wrong droid. But that's a minor thing.

Here is full list of issues that I found during my M4-78EP play through. . .

1. Missing voice line of IS-56 in the industrial zone, when he says "Last time I've seen him was around 97 hours before first reports about a radiation leak in the Central Zone. Haven't seen him since"

2. Missing VOs for broken droid at central zone near near landing zone. (The droid that is missing legs, that is.)

3. IS-43 argument with maintenance droid in Industrial Zone, spelling correction: "he is saying it is not important. Your work is nto as critical as mine" (not main)

4. The cut-scene of IS-43 argument with maintenance droid in Industrial Zone triggers several times for some reason. IS-43 does not leave the maintenance area.

5. Escort droid missing VO to line "Any specific location"

6. I1-O2 droid has very weird camera angle when you talk to him after rebuilding. Camera is flying around the industrial zone.

7. The droid overseeing the production of units (IS-02) asks you about your impressions with IS-43 even if you did not talk to him yet (after you rebuilt I1-O2)

8. Environmental zone has an annoying issue. After talking to the second archon and traveling back, there is an area off limits. Talking to the droid allows you to get escorted past it, but talking to the droid is difficult as its standing near the door, which triggers a cut-scene moving you back several steps. The other side of the restricted zone has no such issue

9. After M4-78 reactivation and return of Kaah, his death scene was not triggered when I invited him to EH. I had to enter Main Core again, reactivate M4-78's voice recognition protocol and talk to him, then to exit the core again. Then it was triggered. And, the scene is silly: a single droid killing a Jedi? I think you should add some explosion there or a few more droids.


Correction on bug # 4.
Any cut-scene involving maintenance droid in the industrial zone keeps replaying itself when module is reloaded. This includes the cut-scene of IS-43 argument with the droid, and also a strange cut-scene with IS-14, where he is saying a single "excuse me" line. (a bug?)

I did, and you made the proper line for me, and it's already in the M4-78EP patch package... :coffee:

 

1. See above

 

2. Got a voice actor now

 

3. Already fixed

 

4. Will have to check this one.

 

5. Known issue... awaiting lines from the VO-actor.

 

6. Can't say I noticed, could be the location asked (since he walks around the entire module, that could be anywhere).

 

7. You *NEED* to to open the Industrial Zone door (which *has* to be done before you can re-construct I0-02). So this is actually impossible to do... ???

 

8. I'll slightly move the droid (if I haven't done already xD).

 

9. Already fixed, already expanded... already made super-awesome (if I do say so myself ;))...

about number 4.

There is more to this bug: IS-14 droid keeps staying in that area, and also one copy of IS-14 spawns back near IS-02. IF the cut-scene is triggered again, another copy of IS-14 spawns near IS-02.

One more issue: too many cleaning droids in this section, near the Industrial Zone Archon. I guess they entered there and cannot leave.

Oh and a question: I cannot complete rogue employee quest. And I talked to damaged construction droid in industrial once zone, then I cannot talk to him again, he says a generic line instead. Are these two related?

 

A few minor issues:

 

1. Usually when Exile or Bao-Dur repairs droids, they get bonus points to some of their skills. But as far as I understand these are stored as bonuses and do not add up to the total skill level from the level up menu. However, when industrial zone droid upgrades the droids in the party, the skill points are added directly to the skill level, and thus you are unable to level that skill up for a few levels, because it is already maxed out for that level. Please recheck it.

 

2. A small issue in the game's unlocked videos menu: M4-78 landing and take-off videos have no titles.

1. Bao-Dur and Exile rarely update skills. I only recall awareness for HK-47 (from the pacifist package), and that might even be for the player (been a while). Always stats, not skills. Which explains why you won't see that. You will for, say, the player training skills lesson from Kreia.

No, it's pretty obvious it's supposed to trigger once M4-78 is done, it's just missing Vash. Those things are not the issue.

The read me for the patch should clearly state that if you install M4-78 EP, then you must find Vash in order to be able to complete the game. If the mod changes the requirements for game completion, folks should be super aware of this.

One minor inconvenience: After activating the four power generators in central zone (to activate L5-65) in such a way that they were all supposed to be connected to  each other through those blue lines, I however ended up having only three connections. It may be either that only 3 connections are needed to activate the droid, or the fourth connection disappeard after module reload (graphical issue). Unfortunaly I do not have an immediate save before this generators to verify the reason.

Sorry I'm late to the party.

 

Just got to M4-78 in my playthrough.

 

Anyway, one thing at the beginning of the planet

 

In finding the second part of the code to lower the radiation, you can properly input the code early (IE subtracting the two droids you killed to get the first part of the code from the total number of active droids) , but it theoretically would net you 500 more experience to not do so.

 

Funny thing is, I checked my total exp in two different trials, and they're exactly the same even though on the second one, the feedback dialogue said I had gained the 500 exp more.

 

Is this intentional to make it seem like you're rewarded for being ignorant, but to not actually give you the extra exp?

It's not a bug.

But yes, NPC XP wont be transferred to the PC, so any "additional" XP you make as the droid wont make a difference in the end.

 

That's why with TSLRCM 1.8 I added a few XP awards to the PC after NPC sections to, albeit somewhat hackity, still reward some part of the XP you did in those sequences.

Aaaand, I also noticed that the music in the M4-78 intro video is a bit "tinny" in comparison to the rest of the in-game audio. If it's a fault of the .bik generator, then I guess there's nothing that can be done, but it was enough to be jarring.
