hrax lautis 10 Posted August 31, 2010 Kaevee is really cool. I wish there could be more of that, even if it were just finishing off the Suulru quest, to give her his offer. Always been sorry that Brianna won't follow a female exile as well, though I think I understand why.
Hassat Hunter 571 Posted August 31, 2010 Seeing how we already modified it for 1.6B/1.7 downloading the current and then updating it wont work, so posting the strRef and changes would be best...
hrax lautis 10 Posted August 31, 2010 All right, here goes: 132134 Change "seperated" to "separated" both instances. 83502 Change "effect" to "affect". 90730 is used even if the exile is female. Unlike the two above, this matches what the NPC Nikko actually says.
Hassat Hunter 571 Posted August 31, 2010 132134 Change "seperated" to "separated" both instances. Was already fixed. You do used the improved .tlk right? 83502 Change "effect" to "affect". This one isn't. I'll pass it to Stoney (easier than sending the whole file again for a typo ) 90730 is used even if the exile is female. Unlike the two above, this matches what the NPC Nikko actually says. There is no female PC version though, so not much we can do here .
hrax lautis 10 Posted August 31, 2010 Was already fixed. You do used the improved .tlk right? Evidently not improved enough. Got out of modding thread earlier (it was in TSL_TLKFile.zip, I can't find the thread now). Someplace else I should be getting this? This one isn't. I'll pass it to Stoney (easier than sending the whole file again for a typo ) Thanks. These two are often confused, but the context clearly intends "affect"

Mandalore 61 Posted September 5, 2010 Not really an actual scene, but I noticed that in the Trayus Academy the cell where you find the Hurrikaine Crystal had a door with the name of %JediCell. Kinda gives away the contents...
ExMachina 10 Posted September 5, 2010 At the end of the scene where Atris tells the Handmaiden to stow away on the Ebon Hawk, Atris starts walking away while Handmaiden is still talking. Atris then seemed to have some difficulty making it through the door to her chamber. Not a big deal, but this scene seemed a little odd when I saw it. ExMachina 10 Posted September 6, 2010 On Goto's ship after rescuing the exile, the dialog with the Zhug brothers seems really out of place. It's almost like they were supposed to be talking to other bounty hunters about you, rather than talking to you.
Hassat Hunter 571 Posted September 6, 2010 It's almost like they were supposed to be talking to other bounty hunters about you, rather than talking to you. That's probably... because it's exectly like that . Most probably Mira/Hanharr.
Markus Ramikin 107 Posted September 6, 2010 What if you have neither in party?
Hassat Hunter 571 Posted September 6, 2010 That was the original intention (allowing them (I think) to walk around Goto's yacht freely and chat up the 50's and Zhugs etc.), not the way it is ended in the mod.
Markus Ramikin 107 Posted September 6, 2010 So we're in agreement that as it is now, the dialogue is, like ExMachina pointed out, out of place?

hrax lautis 10 Posted September 10, 2010 I've got a couple more edits. New tlk is not in place in this game, so these might already be fixed, sorry. Noticed them going through. 83863: "athough" should be "although" 116619, 83842: remove comma between "grown, amongst". Also, one of these is female Revan, one is male. Is this distinguished the way male/female exile is? Both contain he, referring to Revan, but if Revan is differentiated by sex, one of them should be she instead. I don't know which one, though. 83853, 83861: Judgment call. I can hear Atris pause before "wound", so the text should have "Whatever that... wound was," in both lines. Sith Holocron 2,480 Posted September 10, 2010 This idea is more of a suggestion, than a improvement. I recently heard that the Dantooine creatures called the Iriaz are in the KotOR 2 game files - which was news to me. The files were also present on the game (bu not activated) in K1. They were though they were mentioned by name. Though not they're not important cut content, might it not be interesting seeing a few of these roam around Dantooine? You needn't even have them as things to fight - it might add to the scenery of the planet. Here's a link that describes the Iriaz and provides pictures: Iriaz - Wookieepedia, the Star Wars Wiki Here's a link that leads to another link so you can find out more about the Iriaz previously restored in K1: LucasForums - View Single Post - restored content
Hassat Hunter 571 Posted September 10, 2010 Also, one of these is female Revan, one is male. Is this distinguished the way male/female exile is? Both contain he, referring to Revan, but if Revan is differentiated by sex, one of them should be she instead. I don't know which one, though. Sadly enough, throughout the entire Coruscant Council scene, there are only lines for male Revan's.
Sith Holocron 2,480 Posted September 10, 2010 (edited) Another suggestion: When the Exile talks to Atton when he's in the Ebon Hawk cockpit - many times the point of view is of seeing just seeing him hunched over the console and not facing the the Exile. This also means he's not facing us. Well, it's already been established in K1 that other camera angles can be arranged to do better than that . . . witness the following picture from KotOR1. I'm not implying that every conversation with Atton in the cockpit should use this angle. In fact, when he's being evasive in his answers or down right hostile to you, it might even be preferable for him to give the Exile (and therefore, you along with him/her) the "cold shoulder." Hiowever, seeing his face and emotional responses in the early scenes where you're just getting to know him might be beneficial to connecting better with the character. Sadly enough, throughout the entire Coruscant Council scene, there are only lines for male Revan's. Couldn't gender differences be spliced in? That seems rather important . . . Pavijan 10 Posted September 22, 2010 (edited) Well, considering things that need improvement... I didn't have time to play 1.6, so I don't know how it looks now, but from earlier playthroughs I remember that whole Mandalore-Visas scene on Ravager (which starts with him activating the landmine) seamed VERY awkward to me. I find the placing of the scene totaly wrong and think that it should be removed all-together from TSLRCM, and put in new version of Ravager Rewrite that I think somebody mentioned that is been worked on, or Vpupets Malachor VI. It would fit in both much more than here, now. First of all, what in a God's name is land mine doing on a command bridge?! How all the people who came to have auction with Nihilus before (Visas, Tobin and even Exile just few moments ago before fight) didn't activate it? Who put it there suddenly?! And why is now Visas giving encouraging to wounded Mandalore when they had absolutely no personal connections before? It just seamed to be put there artificially and out of content, and damaged the flow of scenes. It is a nice scene though, and new camera looked fine, so it should not be tossed away but used in before mentioned mods because there they at least have spend some time alone, so it makes much more sense that way. That's actually the only thing that I remember that needed improvement. All other things seamed totally fine to me. Sith Holocron 2,480 Posted September 22, 2010 As for the new camera angle when talking to Atton - again, I have to say no... one reason is that you can talk to Atton in basically every location in the game. That could break some stuff if he had special camera angle that works only for EH.Of course it could be scripted to use one angle on EH, rather than anywhere else... but is it worth it? No, not really - in my opinion, anyway. Yeah, the camera angle change would screw up a lot of things in the game, come to think of it. I'm not implying that every conversation with Atton in the cockpit should use this angle. However, seeing his face and emotional responses in the early scenes where you're just getting to know him might be beneficial to connecting better with the character. (Emphasis added) The initial Ebon Hawk conversations with Atton before they first arrive at Telos could include the new angle as those lines never play again. (Well, if I'm not mistaken.) VarsityPuppet 1,085 Posted September 22, 2010 ... I remember that whole Mandalore-Visas scene on Ravager (which starts with him activating the landmine) seamed VERY awkward to me. I don't know if they're going to change that for TSLRCM, but MalachorVI definitely has that. On another note, if you guys want to use my Kreia Green fix for TSLRCM, have at 'er. They are basically the same kreia models used in-game with just 36 bytes of code changed or something like that.
hrax lautis 10 Posted September 26, 2010 I've got one that might be pretty easy to do. In Kotor 1, when a bonus is restricted (mostly the dexterity bonus for armor is what I'm thinking), the bonus shows up in red. That saves having to take off the armor and try something unrestricted in order to see if your bonus is being reduced or is only at that level. Finding out how much the restriction might be inhibiting your stats would take changing armor, but it would be nice to see at a glance whether it's inhibiting or not. Hassat Hunter 571 Posted September 26, 2010 Not quite sure what you're talking about, since that's in KOTOR2 too (just look at Mandalore's char).
