View File SotOR Save Editor SotOR: Saves of the Old Republic A new save editor for KotOR 1 and 2 Warning SotOR is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural, and generally lacks sanity checks, potentially allowing you to break the save. Also there are bugs, probably. It creates a zip with the previous version of the save in it's directory, but you may still want to back it up manually. May or may not work with saves from non-English versions of the game. Use at your own risk. Differences from KSE Aims to provide the same features and more. Currently WIP. Runs natively on Windows, Linux and in the browser (experimental, using wasm). Mac version should work, but pre-built releases won't be available here. Uses a built-in game database, allowing it to work wihout the game installed. Still capable of loading provided game files for your modding needs. Provided releases assume KotOR 1 Community patch and KotOR2 TSLRCM. Support for the updated steam version of TSL, including workshop. Does NOT support xbox and switch saves. See "Contributing" section. Contributing If you encounter a bug or have a suggestion, please open an issue on github. I would like to add support for the console versions, but I don't own any of them. If you're willing to provide save files and help with testing, please open an issue. Thanks Thanks to KSE , NWN Wiki, KotOR.js and xoreos projects for providing references on where and how to get the required game data. Dear Deadlystream comunity, I've been reviewing my personnal repositories on github recently and thought you would appreciate me putting in public my KotOR Savegame Editor repository: https://github.com/nadrino/kotor-savegame-editor. This version has been "forked" from the latest release of @Fair Strides (Deadlystream link). I quote "forked" as the source code had not properly been released on a dedicated git repository, so the original perl code was extracted directly from the archive. I remember having a couple of discussions with Fair Strides, but I never really had time to do a public release. This version adds a couple of very useful features that weren't present in the origianl KSE code: - Adding screenshot display when selecting a savegame // muuuch easier to find the save you're looking for! - Ability to change the player position: X, Y, Z // YES it is possible! Altough you need to put coordinates that are valid (see blue areas with Kotor Toolset maps) - Ability to read and modify the doors on the maps - Ability to read and modify the inventory of the placeables - Ability to read and modify the inventory of the stores - Adding Creatures section under Area - Adding full support for ASPYR kotor versions (linux/macos) - Adding compatibily with compressed ASPYR save files (Nintendo Switch version) // those file are actually just simply compressed - A couple of bug fixes and optimizations while reading/writing your savegame files Hope you will enjoy this fresh version of the good old KSE 😄 EDIT: For everybody to get access to this version, one of the staff member could create a dedicated dowload page for it 😊 Cheers, Nadrino

This is a set of KotOR 1 save files of a complete light side female Scout and Jedi Guardian playthrough, with the KOTOR 1 Community Patch (K1CP) installed, and all side quests, party member conversations and romance subplots completed. SAVE FILE DETAILS These save files consist of a 100% complete playthrough of a light side female player character with the KOTOR 1 Community Patch (K1CP) installed. All side quests are completed, including the Genoharadan quests, all party members' personal quest lines, as well as the romance subplots of Bastila (modded), Carth and Juhani. This set of save collection is also created with the purpose of testing party member and NPC content, including romances, in mind, so I used JCarter426's Biromantic Bastila and Pan-Galactic Flirting on top of K1CP in these saves. To make it easier to test mods that affect modules, I created a save immediately before entering a new area/module. In order to make it more convenient to test out different points of party member conversations and personal quest line, I also created save files before talking to party members as often as possible. Additionally, I created save files immediately before a new party member joins or a party banter is triggered. Class: Level 4 Scout + Level 16 Jedi Guardian Order of visiting the worlds: 1. Endar Spire + Taris 2. Dantooine 3. Yavin 4. Tatooine 5. Kashyyyk - until Jolee joins 6. Manaan - to start doing the Genoharadan quests 7. Rest of Kashyyyk 8. Yavin 9. Rest of Manaan 10. Korriban 11. Hi everyone! I started playing this series again on my original Xbox and I'm having a wonderful time with KOTOR I, it's beautiful to go through the game as a more mature person and have a marvelous time enjoying the subtle details, it really makes me appreciate the effort many people did in order to give us an unforgettable experience. (I'm as corny as Kansas in August, sorry, I just can't help it D': ) Anyways, I still have a long way till KOTOR II, and I know it's easier and more enjoyable to play it on PC, but I would really want to play it on the console (I know it may sound stupid, I know, but I've always played this game on PC with the restored content. I really want to dig into unknown realms and live the experience as it hit the shelfs, on console and everything. As a matter of fact, I think I've enjoyed more KOTOR on Xbox than in PC) . My only problem (aside from missing the restored content from PC) it's that, when I played KOTOR II for the first time, I started the game with a Bastila's head on PC, and it has been a tradition for me since then. Installing mods on Xbox it's just not a problem for me, I know how to and where to put the files. My concerns are related to crashing the game, because I've read that you'll have problems installing model files and things like that. I'm not sure if it's safe to put any file of Bastila's head mods (for PC) on the game (which they usually have TSL patchers) or if there are other ways of handling the situation. Of course I've searched for info on the topic, but it seems that most things related to Xbox Kotor games have virtually dissapeared. For what I've gathered, the easier way of getting mods was to download a save file and FTP it to your console. I've found many useful sites, but unfortunately they are mostly offline. For example, most Xbox users refered to Storm Singer~~Vox Angel blog in Windstream, but it's offline making the files dead. Another example was in the Xbox scene, and one specific thread brought my attention. Apparently, a user named Dak Vesser made a modpack of Bastila in the game, and also "modified the Peragus Kolto Tank which becomes a vending machine for lightsaber's and other items, plus you can use it to change Bastila's lightside/darkside alignment", but, as you can imagine, everything is as dead as Taris (I even remember watching videos about the mod in youtube with Bastila in white Revan's robes and tho lightsabers in Peragus and having the Xbox HUD, but I can't find those either...) I just wanted to know if anyone would be kind enough to help me to put the head on the game or to share the files/saves I've mentioned above in order to play as Bastila, please! I could say it 's rather shocking finding out that many of KOTOR's history has fallen to obscurity and no one cares about it, I could say it's normal, because we have superior things, but, it's just simply mesmerizing... Here are the websites i found: Windstream blog: http://web.archive.org/web/20090211025914/http://home.alltel.net:80/jls31/index.html Xbox-scene topic: http://web.archive.org/web/20141029064758/http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php?/topic/359678-kotorii-tsl-bastila-modpack-availible/ (I link them with archive because you cannot access them in any other way...) Of course I know how to install mods, of course I know I need a modded Xbox (which I have), of course I know the PC version is bastly superior, and many other things, but I really want to live this experience. Thanks in advance! Have a great day ^^

I get that part,m but what i am confused about is how to fix it to where you can put the saves somewhere so that the KSE can find it. Im sure it's been explained and im just blind and cant see it, haha, but some help here would be greatly appreciated :D Thanks guys and gals!
