I know most prestige classes get an increase in DEF every 5 levels, as opposed to 6 (in the starting classes). Somewhere at the back of my mind I have a memory that this isn't true for Jedi Master, and the DEF actually gets worse as a master... Maybe it was a bug that got fixed... or maybe I just made the whole thing up in my head! Opps!!

Isn't there a line where HK refers to G0-T0 as 'moon shaped'? Probably doesn't fit a humanoid G0-T0. I think it is in their confrontation on Malachor V, in TSLRCM Are you planning to modify G0-T0's feat tree? My main problem with G0-T0 has never been his appearance, rather his complete uselessness in the party. By the time you get him as a party member, his skill/feats are already redundant! CONTROL DROID: Only places with alot of droids (Peragus / G0-T0's yacht), you can't use G0-T0 NOT TRIPPNG MINES: Only place with serious ammount of deadly mines is G0-T0's yacht! Doh! Plus, if you are going LS, by the time you get G0-T0, you will already have Mira - unless you made G0-T0 into a steaming hot Fem-bot, Mira will always trump G0-T0 for a party place! STEALTH: G0-T0 lacks Sneak Attack, meaning stealth is not a useful skill I really wish OE had made the whole game like the Exchange compound where friendlies / neutrals will attack you if they see you robbing their stuff!! Would have made it worth keeping a stealth member in the party if playing LS. SKILLS: By the time you get G0-T0, Bao-Dur and T3 are already skilled crafting bitches. No need for G0-T0s skills. LACK OF COMBAT FEATS: I really wish G0-T0 was more combat focused. I think making him melee is a big step in the right direction - I think it fits well with his bickering with HK if one is a shooter and one melee If you can do anything to make G0-T0 more useful, I will definately give this mod a try. G0-T0 has some choice lines of dialogue... it's a shame I never get to hear them

I just pretended that the rocket in (3) was another rocket that had been fired, after the first rocket had already damaged the shuttle

I did wonder if it was one of the Mandies, as it was a backpack - and all the assassins drop belts. But I didn't see him drop, and like you say, the Mandies seem invincible... But at this point Atton was throwing grenades around like a lunatic, so maybe the splash damage finished that poot Mandy off!! Damn you, Atton! *shakes fist* Anyway, great job on v1.8! I've nearly finished my first runthrough, and that is the only bug I have found so far

Not sure if this is TSLRCM or a Vanilla bug I haven't come across before: The sword with no name!: After the Sith attack the Mandalorian base on Dxun, I check all the packs they dropped and looted two swords from the same pack with no name. Their description reads 'Description not set', they do 1-9 damage not upgradable Can post a screeny when I get home

I'm going to stick my neck out and say I like the HK factory as is Saying that, I agree that the HK factory does stand out as being a little more difficult, because the HK-50's scale in difficultly and it doesn't make logical sense! Why is it the first few HK-50s you meet go down like a sack of spuds, whereas in the HK-50 factory they are built like tanks?! They are all droids, all the same model, with the same spec built in the same place! It does break the immersion of the game My solution would be, rather than have a mod that nerfs the HK-50s in the factory, would be a mod to make the other HK-50's in the game tougher! So the difference between them is less visible I think part of Obsidion's vision was to make the party NPC's much more important than they were in K1 - so getting the right builds for them is vital. I think each party member was supposed to have their 'time to shine', so you can't ignore party members the way you can in K1 (I mean, whoever uses T3 after his role on Taris?) For example, and try not to laugh, I used to find the surface of Telos quite difficult! Due to Bao-Dur being pretty useless in combat - melee or ranged. Then I realised that he is much more effective fighting unarmed. . makes the Telos surface waaaay easier. Same with the HK factory. . Gunslinger builds are not as immediately obvious as Lightsaber / Melee builds, took me a few playthorughs of experiementing. . but I think that is the fun of the game, and the replay value! I think you really have to rely on Critical Threat to score good damage with guns, also unstoppable damage is a must. . too many enemies use shilds. The lowever base damage of unstoppable weapons is worth the trade off. As I go for Critical Hits, I pick either Rapid Shot or Sniper Shot. With a gun with a base threat of 18-20 + Keen (pinpoint scope) + Master Sniper Shot you are pretty much guaranteed a critical. Though I usually use Rapid Shot - less chance of scoring a critical, but quite often you get two criticals in one round and that really descimates the opposition. . . ( The only guns really worth using IMO: Rifles ------ Charric or Disruptor Rifle Pistols ------- Madelorian Ripper / Disintigrator And I would really recommend using dual pistols. . there aren't enough feats to add bonuses to Rifles. . (I've always thought that Dualing should add a bonus to Rifles - it would then make them a viable alternative to dual pistols, IMO.) Anyway, hope that long winded post helps!

The version of SecuRom on the KOTOR disc is a bit sketchy with modern O/S (Vista, Win7). You could try backing up the KOTOR.exe file and replacing it with the patched version available from SecuRom: http://download.securom.com/support/000056/swkotor.zip It solved weird launching issues for me! Hope it helps you!
-
Not all 'Steam' games need to be launched from Steam - COD4 for example, I could launch directly by running the main .exe file. Ditto a lot of older games too (Deus Ex, I think). I'd suggest trying to launch the game outside of Steam and see what happens - if it launches, then I can't see you having any problems with Mods

And Genoharadan! Then I think we will probably have the most complete TSL experience we can hope for. . And I, for one, am very much looking forward to it!

I've also just noticed Mission's brother is missing from the Sand People prison. . . everyone acts like he is there (e.g. I can ask the cheif about taking him), but he's just not there!!! -

Hmm, just checked my saves and its missing for me too! And I have no mods installed.... I am however using the SecuRom v1.03 executable downloadable from their website, but not sure why that would be a problem Maybe just another vanilla K1 bug that only happens sometimes... -

Nobody passed out for me either. . . I just robbed their bags right in front of them! Last night, I tested doing the Sith Base before even visiting the Undercity - no game breaking bugs so far. It is a bit weird though, as I put on the Sith Uniform and went solo, wondering if I could infiltrate the base in disguise.. but no luck Most other characters in Taris respond to you differently if you are wearing the Sith uniform, but not in the base. Sadtimes Maybe the Sith uniform should automatically get removed, like when you enter the Hidden Bek base?? -

When the Undercity Dwellers left for the Promised Land, they left three children behind in the camp!!! Not sure if that is a K1R bug, or a vanilla bug that I've never noticed before..... -

Tried it.. but no worky Now I can't talk to Ajuur anymore!! Maybe it isn't saved game compatible that way? However, the Pool Droid was fixed?!!? Random! So I wonder if it was actually a weird KotoR bug that was solved when I restarted the software?? Okidoki! Got through the sublevel quest perfectly this time! Being the XP whore that I am, the first time round I had already spliced the computer and shut down the turrets before going to the sublevel. . maybe that was why I got stuck? Will try and test further... This time the quest worked like a charm! I have a couple of observations: 1) I can ask the elderly mechanic about the heating when I first get to the sublevel. He has no spoken dialogue, but his text says 'there's nothing wrong with the heating' to which I can reply 'sure / um / whatevs' or something like that. This seems a bit out of place - why would my character ask about the heating before visiting the security terminal with the passcard?? 2) Killing the Ithorian in the Spice Lab. He just stands there and takes a beating!! Sure, the Ithorians are as annoying as hell - but it seems a bit out of place to kill a defenseless one on a LS runthrough! I like the harder Vulkars. . but it does make it more obvious that this section is a mod.... just something to think about Once again, great work!! I'll let you know any other bugs I come across in my LS walthrough (I noticed it's now possible to access the Sith Base without T3.. so gonna give that a try and see if anything strange happens). And I'll try and do a DS run next week Cheers!!!! -

Awesome! The new level to the Black Vulkar base really adds something! Is there more to come? I couldn't get into the Control Room or one of the sleeping chambers - and I never found out if the 'heating' puzzle was active? The enemies on the sublevel seem harder than those on the 'normal' level... did I imagine that? Also, there is a redundant elevator in the Swoop Garage, next to the hanger. Was that ever supposed to go anywhere? Only found a few bugs so far: 1) I too had the unable to fight Bendak bug 2) The 'Pool Droid' in the Vulkar base, no longer trundles into the pool and explodes if you repair it. Instead you get the 'this droid will engage hostiles' message 3) Civilians have a habit of attacking Black Vulkars... especially during cutscenes.. although this is rather comical, it does kill the atmosphere somewhat! Great work team!! Will let you know anymore bugs when I get a bit further -
I'll be doing a Light & Dark runthrough when TSLRCM v1.8 is released. If you still need testers then, I'd be happy to help!
