  1. Playthrough of DeathDisco's Coruscant jedi Temple mod in it's current state...

    What do you think?

    All assassins are much tougher and wield lightsabers, plus loot boxes are more randomized.

     


  2. Alright I need a clue...

    Is there a way to indent things on textures with a filter or....?

    I'm trying to retex some concrete walls on Dantooine and I'm not seeing a filter that bevels things IN rather than OUT.  Or is this done by just trying to draw shadows in there?

    The bevel filter on GIMP is almost useless...bah!

    This mod is a simple reskin of Nihilus' ship - The Ravager. 
    All done with random textures from the internet. It's the first time I've attempted a planet or area reskin, so please, go easy on me. It may not be my forte, but I enjoyed making it anyway.

    Installation:
    Extract the .zip file to somwhere on your PC then just copy the subfolder to the game's Override folder.

    To uninstall just delete the folder from Override.


    Permissions:
    For personal use only, do not redistribute the contents herein.

    Thanks to the modders at DeadlyStream.com for teaching me how to mod the KotOR games and for hosting my mods.

  4. Ok, got a problem. 

    I uninstalled it after playing, but now I still have orange icon borders after reinstalling the base game and TSLRCM with the Blue UI mod. 

    There's no "if_icon.tga" type files left over from ROR to delete.

    What do I do?


  5. Yeah I am also working on a new version of SLM along with a bunch of planet texture mods.  I'll be returning purple lightsabers to their original violet color instead of amethyst. 

    But in this pic you really can't tell which is amethyst and what's violet. At least I can't lol.  :)

     


  6. In Other News....

    Default purple lightsabers have been returned to the original "violet" color tone, whereas only the Sith Ceremonial and Elite Assassins Saberstaff from SLM will be the amethyst color I had been using instead.

  7. Thanks. I did leave the carpet in only the Library room. There is still just a few things I need to add or fix before I do anything with it.

    I'm actually working on Trayus Academy now, doing the Trayus Core. Screenies incoming.

    From what I can tell, the USM team fixed a few bugs in the vanilla game which was great for 2005 but with TSLRCM in 2025 (which not only fixes those bugs, but does so in a better way) it creates countless incompatibilities.

     

    The way one would fix the USM mod would be to take the Lightsaber models from TSLRCM and redo all the content that required scripts and dialogue edits using TSLRCM's modified files like most modern mods do nowadays, however, the reason modder's don't do that is for the following reason - we'd need permission from all the people who made the original USM models for this TSLRCM compatibility version to be made, and since these modders from twenty years ago are no longer with us, this would be impossible to do, therefore the USM/TSLRCM compatibility patch would be impossible to create.

     

    I would like to say this - as an alternative to USM, people can always try out Kaidon Jorn's Schematic Lightsaber Mod as it's the closest thing we're going to get to USM in the modern times. It's fully compatible with TSLRCM and the Lightsabers in it are really well made.

     

    Awww shucks...but hey, don't forget about Varsity Puppet's Holowan Duplisaber Beta - Mods - Deadly Stream or JC's TSL Workbench Lightsaber Creation - Mods - Deadly Stream.

    USM was the entire reason I got into modding in the first place.

    Can anyone tell me why this happens?...what is that? CM_Bright on a door?

    Only happens on the Jorran door, and the door to the library on Coruscant.

    Hey hey hey ya that worked! Passed through both of those areas and did not run into any invisible barriers.  I just tossed those .wok files in override and it fixed it.

    So thanks a ton for that. I am most grateful.

    Oh no...maybe it wasn't box1

    Maybe it was plccrt

    That was my first time actually using Holocron Toolset and I was able to at least figure out which placeables I need to delete.

    So that's good! Thanks for the help! :D

    Well new problem.

     

    Hmmm...is that the rubble supposedly taken out by PapaZino's model fixes?

    Arrgh.


  12. Ok I can't get rid of these. Deleted every struct in the git file named "box1" and also the .utp file named box1 in the module file. 

    But they're still there.

    The droids are gone - took care of that no problem. But these huge metal box crate things won't delete.

  13. Ok yeah, I used MDLEdit to make them ascii files and opened them up in a Text Editor to change all the "610DAN" references to "952COR", and converted back to binary.

    Then I just used Model Viewer to change the textures. But then when I entered it was really dark and some textures were missing. See through walls and such. So that's where I thought I'd have to edit lightmaps. I'd walk through doors into blackness then the room would appear after. Which makes me think it's walk meshes. Is that what a .WOK file is?!?

    I dunno, maybe I should stick to lightsabers, I've never done this before.

    So I wanted to use Rebuilt Jedi Enclave Sublevel new room models (by PapaZinos?) to renovate DeathDisco's Coruscant Jedi Temple models.  Which means Jedi Enclave's room models 01, 19, 24 and 32.

    What else would I need to edit to convert those 610dan models into 952cor models aside from textures??

    Lightmaps? .woks? .lyt's??

    I am so lost.

    These were the backgrounds for lightsaber icons that I used to use for my old HotOR, SLM, and DHRM mods. They are in .tga form on transparent backgrounds at 600x600 IIRC.

    Not sure if anyone would want to use them but here they are if you do.
