  5. Trying to render lightmaps for my BoS Areas. 3Ds Max keeps on crashing on exporting. :-/

      I'm not sure if I released the above tutorial on LF, it's a more recent one.

      I explain how to create your lightmap and also how to setup the lights, to get a nice quality.

       

      I do use an extra tool, it's small plugin for 3Ds Max, to help me out with the UVWs:

      Did another test run, this time without my new mapping tools. The game doesn't crash anymore. But the lightmaps are still wrong and all over the place.

      Somehow the UVs get mangled. Don't understand, the normal textures look ok, so those UVs don't seem to be affected at all. *sigh* x-(
