It's hard to tell from that angle (and with that filter) but is that a different skybox in the background?

Welcome to the party!

TSL suffers more than KOTOR. Bioware efficiently removed most traces of Sleheyron - certainly more thoroughly than Obisidian did with M4-78. Yuthura Ban's reference to Sleheyron was put in after they cut the planet as a informal dedication to what was cut.
-
Hopefully - for the TSL version - it will be also compatible with HOTOR and USM as well.
I'm trying to recall, does your mod have the flickering cores too?
-
The files for the bronze saber simply reference the orange one. It doesn't even have it's own duplicate texture or .2da entry, it's just a renamed orange crystal, really.
But it is possible to give it it's own texture, and there are a few mods that do that, including one of my own. Don't download mine from kotorfiles though, it's an outdated buggy version. I Should really fix that. The screenshots are still good though, and I think I posted the fixed version as a comment. Check it oouutt.
Anyway, I think he should have yellow or orange. I'll probably vote orange, simply because another vote for yellow seems pretty meaningless.
Edit: Crap, disregard the part about my own mod. That's for KotOR I. I never made a KotOR II version. Sorry 'bout that, that's what happens when you post late at night about something you did a while ago. Maybe once this mod comes out I'll feel motivated to do a TSL version, maybe incorporating my previously planned second pack of additional colours as well...
Rant rant rant.
In other news, I did indeed vote for orange.
I need sleep.
Might I suggest making a mod for a Bronze color fix that's TSLRCM compatible then? I'd also suggest making it comaptible with HOTOR (see the download section for more information.) Perhaps you might make a poll to see what colors folks might be interested in for possible additional color crystal pack.
Oh . . . and welcome to Deadly Stream Forums, Crixler!

Hey, just wondering: I installed the fix, and I like how the sisters now actually look different than Brianna, but I noticed that when you duel them, they all change into their underwear like Brianna does. I just wanted the different heads. Is there something I can tweak to switch the clothes back to the original skin and leave the faces?
That sounds like something I could imagine being called a "modesty fix." While I don't think it needs to necessarily be in TSLRCM, it would make for a wonderful optional mod if someone desired to do it.

Hi guys, I have downloaded the Coruscant Mod but when I go to a console on the planet - it would have nothing in it. What can I do?
Help us help you. Start by telling us . . .
1) What mods you have in your current install of TSL - include links to the mods. (No one can claim to know how all the mods work so we need that to reserach your problem.
2) If you're on Deadly Stream, you're most likely using the TSLRCM. If so, we'll need to know which version. If not, we'll need to know that too but that's just common sense.
3) Sometimes in order to have compatibility, you have to install mods in a certain order. In what exact order did you install of these mods?
-
Thanks again for the mention in the readme, Dak. Any chance for screenshots for the Armored Robes in the original post of this thread?

Does anyone know if TSLRCM 1.7 will conflict with oldflash's Final Touch mod?
1) Added a link to the mod so folks will know what he's talking about.
2) If this is confirmed to work (or not to work) with TSLRCM 1.7, will someone please update the compatibility list to include this entry?
-
Actually, I joined with Bullobrien at the Holowan Labs now, who's done a terrific Togruta-skin for the Twi'lek head. I made a Togruta-shaped head-model now, that is even fully working, but we're stuck at the uvm-mapping, 'cause neighter of us has got any expirience with that. 'Cause no kiddin', we're very close to actually have a completely functional Togruta-model for K2
.
If you get that working, might I suggest you offer it to Logan23 for inclusion in his Revenge of Revan mod? Redrob41 (also attached to ROR) might be able to assist you with UVM mapping. I suggest private messaging him to confirm that first though.

Yeah, I have no idea what you're talking about there. Update section?WCH is referring to the "Recent Status Updates" section on the right hand side of the top-most page of the forums.

I can't correct them all, HH! LOL

Personally I think it should be an option, and not be forced on you like the Visas one. The main reason however is becuase the Visas one causes a whole bunch of glitches with the n_darthnihilus file which someone really needs to fix
I'm not sure what the glitches are in that "n_darthnihilus" file but I nominate that those issues get fixed before the release of TSLRCM 1.8.

Speaking as someone that's old, I think it's fair and right to acknowledge the efforts of "those that came before you" and made the “modding road” easier for users to walk. When PCGamemods.com bit the dust some time ago, folks considered themselves lucky that there was another place to turn to in order to download mods. Kfiles was and is an easy to find repository of all types of mods – from the basic to the very advanced - for both K1 and TSL.
Let's think of a few reasons why we at Deadly Stream should be grateful for Kfiles
1) Unmasking PIKMIN / DARTH BALOR: If it wasn't the efforts of the folks both here and over there, a plagiarist might have kept M4-78 from being published as widely as it was. K-files looked at the facts and unlike some other places I could mention DIDN'T tar the whole team with the same accusations of plagiarism.
2) I don't know about you but I like the reviews at the top of the page over at K-files. The files may get approved here quicker but there was something nice about having a experienced modder actually use your mod and make comments before opening it to the floor. They don't seem to really do that anymore but I did like it.
3) Poll questions and picture of the day: They may not have updated their POTD for some time but these used to be a center of attention at K-files. I personally remember seeing a series of pictures done by someone named Darth_Sith44 (but I'm probably remembering the name wrong.) It was the first time I realized that you could alter the cameras inside the game for such a purpose. I wouldn't mind seeing trivial poll questions appearing over here. Of course, since I came up with two trivial poll questions about lightsaber colors lately, I might be a little biased.
There's something else as long as I'm rambling. Deadly Stream is mostly focused around TSLRCM and mods that will work with it. It had a life as a forum before the download section existed. Kfiles on the other hand is more utilitarian in nature. If folks wanted to discuss a mod at length, they didn't do it there - they did it at LF.
Sure, Kfiles hasn't been the same since the page was bought out by the company that currently owns it. However, I'd sure as hell miss it if it left the internet today. (Again.) If you all think that K-files should bite the dust, perhaps you should look through all the mods that have been published there over the years. You know, just in case it does. (Again.)

I'd get Logan's Bao-Dur voice guy to do that same line, but maybe add the radio equalizer to it. That'd be way better, I think. I think Bao-Dur's death, in order to be functional in the game at all, needs to happen regardless of whether or not you activate HK or the HK factory quest. As such, I would then argue that Bao-Dur needs to die some other way, not by helping HK get to the factory. Yes, I know Chris Avellone himself that's how Bao-Dur dies, but honestly people, unless we make the HK factory an absolute obligation in TSL, I don't think that fate is an option. But I am in favor of him dying to save Telos in some form or another. How exactly, I'm not sure. Maybe he'd kamikaze a group of Sith Troops as they try to hijack the fuel lines? Maybe he's trying to protect the Ithorian's work?
The portion regarding Bao-Dur (possibly) dying as part of the HK Factory I would like to see but only as an optional add-on and not part of TSLRCM proper. VP, it does look like it would be a worthy inclusion for one of your releases - if not for Malachor VI, then one of your packs.
I once had my own work up on how to set up Bao-Dur's death at the hands of the HK-50's on Telos but unfortunately, it's saved on my home computer where I have no way of getting it. (Stoney probably has my most recent version of it.) I even had worked out what lines could be spliced in order to have as much of it voiced as possible and where to set up the cameras. (I pictured the shuttle that Bao-Dur and HK-47 used would land on the platform just outside the Czerka Underground Base.)
VP, it is interesting that by using the VO actor for Logan23's ROR - you're essentially proposing killing the Bao-Dur before he can appear in the sequel. If the same VO actor voiced both instances of Bao-Dur, I'd find that somewhat amusing.

Not to sound impatient, or to be rushing u guys, but a better question would be: How much do you have done?
1) But you do sound impatient! LOL

2) Giving out a percentage done is a trap. Even if in their heads, they had a percentage mapped out, that doesn't take other matters into account - such as bug-removal and beta-testing.
Situations like these two can throw off a timeline: Will adding this cutscene over here break something over there? "Such and such modder" can offer their input/modding talents even though he wasn't available before?

On the other hand, I prefer to guide to show what I've missed. I may get through the plot just fine but may have missed all the options. For example: it wasn't until I had completed the original KOTOR a few times before I realized I could actually "redeem Yuthura Ban" and not only bring her back to the Light Side but actually see her at Dantooine.
-
I'd love to see one myself. it would be really great if they could get the guy that wrote this walkthrough at GameBanshee.com to do it for M4-78 Enhancement Project.
To be honest, I'd to see one written in the same style for the HK Factory, the Coruscant Mod, Newbiemodder's Korriban Expansion, and eventually Malachor VI . . . but I digress.

Atris what? Why would she do that? Conflict?
I recommend checking this thread which covers this a little: http://deadlystream.com/forum/topic/606-tsl-vanilla-plot-holes/

Perhaps you'll try your hands at Twi'leks next? Although I've seen reskins both great and shoddy for Twi'leks, it's unfortunate that there's only one body model for each gender. (I don't count Mission as she's a unique character.) Even altering the lekku (head tails) might be great for a start but some alteration in the mesh around the face would be a welcome change!
(I bet that Redrob41 and Logan23 would like to see something like that for Revenge of Revan too!)

Wow, this thread is still up? Neat. I had some spare time and thought I'd go through some of these.
How does Lt Grenn know you're a Jedi? Who told him? The HK who told Peragus you're a Jedi you scrap just before leaving there...so who told Grenn...?? When you are first arrested on Telos it's for Peragus exploding then after you're attacked by the bogus Batu Rem Grenn somehow knows you're a Jedi? And this is before the TSF completes its investigation plus at this time you haven't yet met Atris so she doesn't know you're back in known space so she couldn't have ratted you out and it's not like KOTOR I in which Bastila adds a mind-erased Revan to the passenger manifest-which leads me to...Remember, the Exile's return has been posted mostly everywhere in the "coreward databases," according to HK-47. Though G0-T0 was looking for the Jedi, he was merely acting upon the information he had access to in those databases. Atris was the one that broadcast the information. One definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over agin expecting a different result. She did it with releasing the Exile's "homecoming" information and also she tried it before - in order to draw out the enemy at Kattar. Since G0-T0 knew about the Exile's return, who's to say Green didn't have access to the same information? Then again, maybe Admiral Onasi just told him that the Exile is an Exiled Jedi - as they were working together as well.
You're simply on-board the Harbinger and headed for Telos to supposedly aid in the restoration effort--in typical SW fashion, the ship gets hijacked and attacked by the Sith...and...T3 and the Ebon Hawk just happen to be conveniently accessible...?? Oh kay...T3-M4 was sent out by Bastila (or Carth) to find anyone that could help Revan. Who's to say that T3-M4 didn't seek out Kreia - his/her former master? T3-M4 obviously had the ship - the navicomputer can only be used by him, if you all recall.
Additionally, we do know pretty much every major figure (in the game) knows the Exile is coming back. Why wouldn't Kreia know too? Put T3-M4 searching for Kreia in the Ebon Hawk - and Kreia searching for the Exile using the information sent out by Atris and it isn't that much of a coincidence.
Right after telling you coincidence was on her side when she found you on the Harbinger, Kreia then says coincidences are rare...which is it...??If you take what I said earlier as fact, that would Kreia lying.
HK-47 states he is built after the Mandalorian Wars bothers me. I remember in KOTOR that his final story (unlocked after repairing his memory core several times) pertained to him being sent into space to assassinate Mandalore who reprogrammed HK. But if he was constructed after the Mandalorian Wars, there wouldn't have been a Mandalore to assassinate. That bothered me too. But there's very few continuity mistakes. I do recall one cut line saying Revan destroyed Telos even though it was well established the Malak did that in the first game. (I think the cut line was originally said by Kreia as I recall re-splicing it so she said Malak instead of Revan.)
Bao-Dur knows me. He tells me we were in the war together. Okay, I say, fair enough. Then he never talks to me again, never explains anything, never becomes a jedi, and just disappears from the story.Perhaps a quote from Chris Avellone himself might explain that . . .
Bao-Dur . . . we just didn't have time to finish his thread' date=' but if I recall (it's been a while), he was supposed to die on the attack on Telos to help HK-47 get to the HK-50 factory and shut it down to save the planet.[/quote']Those that love to push the line that LucasArts is evil because they didn't give Obisidian enough time . . . you're welcome.
Then I'm playing as remote, for no reason, and I'm like HUH!? Bao-Dur is talking about some thing called the Mass Shadow Generator, and I had NEVER heard of that before. He's asking me to prime it, I say, okay, whatever.See previous answer.
Additionally, in his first conversations, he does say he doesn't want to talk about the war if you don't mind, which seems to suggest that at some point you'd likely be talking about it more in some detail. (Greater detail than what wound up in the game files anyway.)Also, I always play as a male exile, so I don't really know a lot about Mical or anything, but he's a Republic spy, right? They never really DO anything about that, do they? Doesn't someone on the ship find out? Kreia, or Atton or someone? I don't remember. Then they just sorta let it slide.I think I may had a thread about that somewhere . . . oh yes, here.
I also thought it was really lazy when I found Vash dead. I knew that must've been cut content before I even KNEW it actually was. Why just kill off a master? Time constraints? I guess so. Also, no need to knock Sion or anything, but I don't think he could've killed Vash that easily. In Sion's defense, he can bring himself back from the dead over and over again, as long as you don't erode his will. Since they cut out M4-78 pretty early, it stands to reason her character was fully developed yet. (Hell, even M4-78 doesn't have any lines voiced or wirtten in the game.) Perhaps the game maker, didn't want to hear the voice actress do even more lines? Grey DeLisle also performed the voices for Brianna and the other Handmaidens. (Ok, for the last part - I kid, I kid.)
Also, as far as I know, Echani is first introduced in Kotor 2. Brianna and the sisters are Echani, and Atton has had Echani training. But what IS an Echani, exactly? Is it a race? A belief? I don't really remember them ever saying what the hell one was, I just remember Brianna saying she was one, that she was trained in the style, and that Atton was trained too.Echani were also in KOTOR1. One is being hired by the Sith in a cantina on Manaan - the same cantina that the Selkath asks you to do a mission to find missing Selkath children. Echani is both a near-muahm species and their unarmed martial art. In this case: Wookieepedia is your friend.
-
Remember: she also pulls the "catatonic state" trick later - when the Exile is about to face the Red Eclipse gang. The Exile's companion's are about to fend off the attackers when Kreia incapictates them and then lies on the ground.
I think I'm remembering the scene corectly . . .
