  1. Mods can make the game a lot more choppy. Especially those mods by Xarwarz that alter the skins of whole planets. It all depends on your graphic card, honestly. Generally, graphic cards are lame for just about anything. Don't be fooled that they append "HD" to their name. Google your graphic card and you'll usually be able to ascertain what it's worth. As for compatibility issues... never heard of a one that indeed slows the game (unless you mean that it prevent you from progressing...)

  2. After the SW:TOR announcement, it was really depressing that they (publisher) decided to take this franchise to another direction. However, this mod is beginning to look very interesting. I haven't try out the demo but from the feedback it sounded very promising. Looking forward to it's completion. :D

You do know that there's no demo officially out, don't you? If there's one out there, it would probably be a beta version of the demo and frankly, I haven't heard any feedback about that one...

  3. Hehe, I'm a patient being. Not sure if everybody is. Some would tell you to release-it right now because then, you'd be sure not to have an HD failure or a so considerable lossof motivation you would just leave-it at that. I personnally think you should ask yourself if you want to work on the TSL patcher 2 times or one time. Then again, if your not used to-it, maybe you could use the practice. Oh well, that has to be helping you to choose, does-it not :) ?. Anyway, I myself have had 1.4 from lucasfiles, so I don't really bother.
