The issue is that at times the Good/Bad effects window shows up during battle and causes the PC to stop movement, leaving them vulnerable to grenades and the like. The box is also very large and obtrusive, making it difficult to see remaining enemy VP and mini-map - perhaps a smaller window above the character portrait would be better. It also doesn't really detail what the effects are actively doing, just tells me that I'm affected by valor or sonic grenade - which I already know, since I cast valor, or was hit by a sonic grenade; the inability to see what the direct effects are without having to go to the character screen makes this mod good in concept, but lacking in execution. I don't mean to offend by offering honest criticism, but this has been my experience playing through Peragus with your mod.

Edit: I guess I need to do more reading and less jumping around asking questions, since by looking at the support topics on the download pages I can plainly see if they have TSLRCM compatibility or not. I rushed into TSL when I got it recently (haven’t played in 2 years, haven’t finished in 10) and installed a bunch of mods I found on reddit. During my playthrough I began discovering tons of other great mods on this site and wanted to know what kind of compatibility issues I’d run into with the ones not listed by Snigaroo. I’m working with a fresh install and TSLRCM 1.8.5 Any information you have regarding the compatibility between the mods in the Unknown Compatibility category and Known to be Compatible categories, and incompatibilities between one mod or the other in either category, will be greatly appreciated. This has been very informative, ChrisC26; thanks. I found the mod you mentioned and installed it, but it goes about what I want to do in a different way by adding items, rather than implementing the feat trees in a custom class. I'm going to get ahold of the mod author and see if I can expand on his work, since I wouldn't be able to mess with animations or anything like that. -
I've never modded KOTOR, so bear with me. Here's what I want to do: I want to change HK-47's class, attributes, and feats as well as feat progression. I'm working on the details now, but the gist of it is that HK is an assassin droid, and as such he should have stealth and melee capabilities, and I think he should (possibly) be able to wield lightsabers owing to his origins (think General Grievous.) With that in mind he should be similar to a Scout - good with skills, better feat progression than Scoundrel but not as overpowered as a perfect Soldier. Maybe even grant him Sneak Attack tree - he is, after all, an assassin droid. I don't want to change his class though - or at least, his class name. Can I make a custom class with its own feats (basically Combat Droid but with Melee proficiency tree) and then set HK's class to that custom class? What tool do I need to do this? I can work with a GUI tool, but anything involving scripting, assembly, or coding is off the table. Where are the tutorials? I've tried googling but all I get are tutorials for tools with dead links and downloads.

I was lurking the KOTOR General and realized I should make one of these. I am playing through a lightly modded KOTOR 1 (GOG version), trying to finish a 99% completion (skipping swoop races, pazaak, and HK repairs on Light Side) of both moralities. LS Soldier/Guardian, DS Scout/Guardian (for repair.) I bought the Steam version of KOTOR 2 after issues with the GOG version that I couldn't resolve. Wanting to finish my LS playthrough of KOTOR 1 before I dive into it. I've been playing these games off and on since I was like 14. I had the KOTOR II Atris/Nihilus poster from the strategy guide on my wall, and I'd like to find a copy of it again to frame in my living room. I originally played on xbox, then later I got KOTOR on mobile and fell in love all over. Two years later, here I am with PC versions falling in love a third time. I haven't played TOR - I'm not huge on MMOs, and as a working student I fear the time investment necessary. For example, I'm a massive, massive Morrowind nerd and not even the upcoming expansion is going to get me to play TESO. I have read the entirety of the Tales of the Jedi and Knights of the Old Republic comic series; the KOTOR era is my favorite era of Star Wars and it'll be a shame if Disney trashes it or mines it and recycles it into a garbage heap of mediocrity. Out of the new canon, I enjoyed Rogue One the most - it's quite like KOTOR in my opinion, from the Lehon-esque Scarif, the rag-tag group of misfits, and the sarcastic droid. KOTOR 1 favorite build: STRgod - max out the Strength attribute as much as possible, forget DEX, disregard INT, only put enough into CON, WIS and CHA as you need to have basic force abilities and reasonable VP. Anyways, I'm here for KOTOR mods.

I never knew I wanted this until now. Not that that's helpful or anything, but if I can offer a thought: they probably needed a female romance-able counterpart to the Handmaiden and the Devaronian wasn't conventionally attractive enough. One could argue Atton would have made a suitable counterpart, but it's just a thought.
