  1. That is pretty big assumption... especially considering the best superhero trilogy from the 2000's thus far was a DC franchise (Christopher Nolans batman series which IMO is alot better than any film marvel has chucked out lately)

Lets have a DC comics book burning, may all of DC die by fire.

    HAIL STAN LEE!!!

No, i'm joking, but really, DC tends to only use their most popular superheroes for movies, but marvel has been using less popular ones as of late.

DC needs to stop using just Batman and Superman... really... that is 70% of their movies after all...

  2. Will this mod in it's completed state be basically a game in itself?

What i mean by this is, will it equal the size and detail and replayability that the original kotor games have?

Will it be 10 hours? 15 hours? 40 hours? How long should the game last, if one wasn't hurying, but wasn't being slow?

How will this mod be able to work with the already established "canon" that TOR has well... established i guess.... or do you plan on breaking the canon for the sole purpose of this mod and it's truth to the kotor franchise?

How will this mod tie up loose ends that were left untied at the end of TSL? (I hate the revan novel, i do not count it as canon, i don't even find it amusing)

Keep up the great work logan!

  3. When I first started playing i restarted my character over and over on taris a million times, I began playing kotor when I was like 7, I couldn't actually get passed taris until I was about 10 or 11 though, and after I did pass taris, I was addicted, my parents couldn't get me off the xbox, playing kotor when i'd get home from school, or on the weekends, and during summer vacation.

When I first started playing TSL, I spent 13 hours of playing to kick off my first playthrough and I drank plenty of  tea, ate lots of sandwiches, spent alll day in my room for like a week straight, oh man it was great! And I originally thought that TSL was going to have the original party members in it, and you'd still be Revan, and you'd be ruling as the sith emporor or something along those lines lol.

I got TSL in somewhat late 2014, I absolutely loved it,

    And I still love it.

And, it is still the pinnacle of gaming and subsequently Star Wars itself.

  4. Civil war. No contest.

    DC is overglorified.

Marvel always comes out on top of DC IMO.

I heard though, someone will be dying in civil war, I'm not sure how much i like that.

Hey though! In 15-20 years, I'll be able to watch these movies with my kids! And in that time, they'll be like movies from the 90s compared to the stuff they'll have in twenty years.

  5. The truth about jar jar binks is....

Jar has three letters in it, so if we assume that the other jar in his name is merely a repetition used for emphasis upon his name, rather than another piece of his name, we can safely say that we are only going to count one jar. Jar has three letters, and binks has 5 letters, but if you take those 5 letters and take away an s, considering s isn't a very dominate or masculine letter, we can count it out.

So 4 times 3 equals 12, and if we add that s again, we get 13...

Jar jar binks is the illuminati leader confirmed.

And due to being the illuminati leader, they couldn't cast him in this movie.

I was kidding here Lol, however, I will say that jar jar binks and all these bullcrap conspiracy theories are ridiculous, i thought jar jar was just a generic character, I didn't hate him i didn't like him, he is just generic.

There is absolutely no way that he is going to be in any future movies, it wouldn't make any sense, and he is so darn foolish he'd be dead as soon as someone left his side.

Point being, he is dead, good riddance.

And if he isn't dead, they sure as mustafar aren't gonna cast him for this movie (kidding, If this was confusing and out of context, he was a crap character and he isn't going to be in any of the movies).

    RIP Jar Jar Binks

  7. Yes, the focus on something besides combat is a large part of why I like them, (I think Planescape: Torment can be played with 0, none that is, kills, provided that you think about your responses) never mind the deep, multifaceted stories that most CRPGs have... witch is something the Xenosaga trilogy has in spades too. its the clunky or archaic interfaces that turn people away, I think, from old-school CRPGs. That and the lower quality graphics and the time involved to play them. I blame Facebook and its 10,000 games that are played in under a minute for the lack of CRPGs in recent years...

I blame the illuminati, nah jk.

I honestly am not liking how realistic games are becoming... The graphics are beggining to look too real, sooner or later, we'll basically be playing movies...

  8. I've only done one dark playthrough, I cannot make evil choices it just breaks my heart, game or no. I cannot stand doing those terrible things, but I will admit I couldn't stop laughing after I made those guys hand me their credits and commit suicide at nar shadda! My only Dark side characters name was Mardo Drak. I liked the one dark side playthrough, mainly because I was sick of about 7 LS TSL playthroughs and 2 LS kotor playthroughs.

Otherwise. I can't be evil, i literally wanted to cry after I accidentally killed Zaalbars dad in K1... Or when you were mean to missions brother. Or when you acted like atton was stupid.

  9. I would use the hit and run tactic on everyone in the arena so I could get a very large amount of credits at the begging, if you press the attack button and are able to land a hit on your enemies and then you quickly run away there is a good chance their hit will not count, for twitch I would go in and attack with melee when he had his blaster out and I'd attack with my blaster when he had his sword out ect... It is a good way to win against all of the people in the arena, however you may have to reload your save games and retry about a hundred million times once you get to ice and up...

  10. No Order Here:

Half Life 1 - Half Life 2 is freaking fantastic, but the game that started it all is still my favorite as it innovated the shooter genre. I'm waiting to play it once again since Black Mesa hasn't been wrapped up yet, but I have hopes it will before next year is out.

Mass Effect 1 - Flawed but epic, This was perhaps Bioware's last great game. TOR was garbage, Mass Effect 2 was a letdown, DA2 was bland as crap, and ME3 was garbage all around. Mass Effect isn't your typical RPG, but it definitely set itself out as one, as well as being the best sci-fi space game out there. It's just a damn shame that EA took the reigns of Bioware and forced them to cater to the shooter crowd. As for what made it good, it truly made it feel as you were in space rather than just running around pew pewing everything. I won't go into detail of what ME2 ruined right now, but if your curious I'll go into detail on another post

Fallout: New Vegas - 3 was fun, but it wasn't a true RPG, more of just an action open world game like Skyrim is. Obsidian took what Bethesda did and made it that much better, plus their excellent dialogue writing and wonderful DLC and this game is quite possibly my favorite RPG ever made, and speaking of Obsidian

Star Wars: KoTOR 2 - I liked Kotor 1, but not as much as everyone else did. The dialogue was so cheesy at times it made me cringe and some of the characters they forced on us didn't read well on me. Obsidian took that part out and made every character feel real, and made Star Wars feel a lot more real than it ever has. It changed from the classic light/dark dichotomy to a more complex plot. Shame that it wasn't finished initially, but the TSLRCM team got the job done

Deus Ex: Human Revolution - Never played one since I never could get it working, but I really loved DX:HR and am excited for Mankind Divided.

Tribes - Yeah, i'm one of those. I still love the classic shooter style, and tribes was my absolute favorite

I'm sure I'm forgetting plenty of others

I definetly agree with you about. K2!!! K2 is and always will be my favorite game of all time!!! The writing is spectacular, the characters felt broken, dark, and relateable! But K1 and it's characters felt less relateable and real... They felt more like perfect Hollywood characters. Still love K1 though. Check out my Key differences between K1 and TSL... Thread if you'd like to share your kotor opinions!

  11. if you like CRPGs like Fallout 1&2: Arcanum Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura and Planescape Torment

    JRPG: Xenosaga

CRPGs are cool. I watched some of plan escape, there isn't a huge emphasis on combat but a lot of emphasis on choices and story! I liked the multidimensional idea of it.

  12. Oh man...

It's really impossible for me to pick one. I think I can put the KOTOR games as my top 2, but beyond that, it just depends on how I feel.

At the risk of showing how incredibly un-modern my gaming tastes are, some of the ones I really like are:

    Civilization III

    Pharaoh (city-building sim)

    Zeus (see above)

    Team Fortress 2 (only recently)

Team fortress is awesome! Not to mention i really think the civilization games are cool. But if they could have a bit more... Customization I think it'd be better!

  13. Gonna have to call you on that. He firstly was severely weakened/demoralized when he fell, and lets face it, there were better Jedi who were gunned-down in much simpler circumstances and they didn't mystically survive.

Second, the smallest building I saw on Coruscant was at least 50-200 stories high.. It is not only unlikely, but his lack of an arm would add to the distraction to the focus required to find a hand-hold AND would provide him with no means to catch anything should he find a rogue speeder between him and the concrete possibly miles below him..

So either he is stronger than any Jedi in the movies (somehow), or he just didn't survive the fall.. GL seriously needs a date with the Laws of Physics and/or reality..

(However, I consider the possibility that there was some conspiracy and someone managed to save Windu by catching him mid-fall, which is wierd but theoretically possible.)

You do realize how powerful made windu is? Also it doesn't matter if he was "demoralized" look at anakin Malkior. I'd also like to mention that there could have been a balcony below him... Like only 1 or 2 stories down.

  14. And where did he say this?

EDIT: You learn something new everyday I geuss... but that just annoys me that GL Says he survived

It makes sense he survived. He is an all powerful jedi master who had many years of training in endurance and combat. It is quite likely he would survive. Besides he only fell like 20 stories...

  15. Theory, We will get to see made windu as a really old guy with one less arm... Because George Lucas said he survived the fall...

And chewbacca gets a girlfriend. Wookie babies confirmed. Or wookie cookies if you will.

  16. Here is another quote i made up, it's well... If I ever have a somewhat nerdy girlfriend.

"When I look into your eyes I can see the death and creation of a million of the most gorgeous stars, I can see a trillion years of love and beauty and prosperity in the entire universe, I can see infinite amounts of beautiful women and aliens but out of all of them you stick out the most, I can see beautiful angels helping craft a planet and you are one of them. That is what I see when i look into your beautiful eyes.

This got no attention and it's like my wellest written quote of all time... Such sad much yes.
