    HelloEveryone, I'm new here!

    Anyway, I'm here because there is a mod I've wanted to make for several years now. I am actually able to do quite a bit of modding myself, but I am very limited at scripting/coding and I don't have all the time in the world to figure it out. I really would like a helper or maybe even a team to help me create this mod.

    Okay so remember Malya...? No? Remember the Taris undercity and the outcast village and that old guy named Rukil who was searching for the Promised Land? Well he had an "apprentice" named Malya who was described as a young woman who died trying to find the Promised Land. Now I don't know about you, but that sounds like a serious missed opportunity to me: A female roughly the same age as Bastila who is adventurous and open-minded enough to be a crazy old man's apprentice! Also, I believe KOTOR would be better if you had an option as to which girl you want to end up with romantically. I don't really like Bastila, personally :secret: . Now you have a choice, Bastila or Malya.

    So in this story, Malya survives and joins up with the Main Character and the gang. She is an eccentric sweety-pie who has albinism and has never been outside the undercity, and has never seen the light of the sun in her life. However, she is less pessimistic than the other outcasts and believes in the symbol of hope itself, the Promised Land, even if only in spirit.

    As a youth, Malya finds a mysterious Holocron while exploring the undercity. She develops an understanding of the Force, and the lack of Jedi interference causes her to develop extremely unorthodox views. These views influence the Main Character and help to cause an even more tense love triangle with Bastila. Also, the Holocron's mysterious source eventually ties into the Main Character's story.

    -I can do graphics somewhat. I have already made a prototype Malya. I will also make her clothes. I made her a hoodie based on the Dark Jedi Female model, complete with a hood that actually moves with Malya's head!

    -I can dialogue edit. Mostly.

    -I can use KOTOR Tool.

    -I have a very intricate story already developed, I will tell you all about it if we email or Skype. It contains themes of acceptance, love and romance, spirituality and belief, and tradition vs open-mindedness.

    -I voice act for male characters. I also have ways to get voice actors for female characters.

    -I am nice and will be your friend forever if you help me :w00t: .What I Need You To Do

    -I mainly need someone who can script the quests and cutscenes. I am lost when it comes to this stuff. I am also a full-time college student who works during breaks so I can't really dedicate a ton of time to learning this.

    -A couple of new areas/maps (they can be reused/reskinned)

    That's it really.Goals

    -Make a new fully voiced Party Member with an optional romance storyline.

    -Expand KOTOR 1's horizons with new looks at morality and spirituality (KOTOR 2 style).

    -Keep the look and feel of the original game and have the mod seamlessly weave into the normal storyline.

    -A new "Malya" ending.

    In addition, if things go well, I have storylines for an expansion that involves adding on the the Malya ending with a new faction that joins the Main Character's independent cause, discovering who made the mysterious Holocron that Malya found, and invading Coruscant :evil: .

    Why did this not get more attention?

     

    Also, will we be able to change her clothing? Not sure how much I like the dark Jedi robes, when in fact, there were probably no dark Jedi ever in the under city.

    If you haven't even seen it then why the hell are you browsing this thread which is full of spoilers? No offense, but that kind of kills it.

     

    I will tell you that the episode is fantastic.

     

     

     

    Well, I don't think the voice was Traya that's for sure, because the rule of two wasn't practiced until Bane came around and Revan was the only one before him to ever practice it as well. The temple heavily relied on the rule of two, and the weapon itself seems to crude for someone like Kreia

     

    My theory is that it might be someone like Darth Zannah if Rebels wants to borrow from old EU, but who knows.

     

    Meh, because I didn't know this would be full of spoilers.

    I swear, if malachor turns out to be just a "Saturday morning cartoon villain" type of deal, I'll be pissed. Maybe they'll throw in a reference to Kotor... Or find a skeleton of kreia or something (I know that would make zero sense, but, you know, I try.)

    Or perhaps her lightsaber would make more sense... Lol idk

    The Ebon Hawk crew was on their way to a Republic conference shortly after the events of Kotor. It was another quiet night in the Ebon Hawk, a creeking noise could be heard as Revan was tossing and turning. Jolee was sipping some blue milk, as he sat down quietly in the medical room, he was staring at the wall, red eyes, occasionally almost drifting off to sleep.

     

    T3-M4 and HK-47 were playing a game of pazaak, both trying to make as little noise as possible. Until T3 cheats and HK-47 exclaims "Aggravated Statement: You cheated! You bantha-brained tin can!" Everyone wakes up temporarily, But shortly go back to sleep. Revan hears the noise and jumps out of the bed, running to the center of the ship, Jolee merely moves his eyes in the direction of them, but then proceeds to stare at the wall and sip at the blue milk once again.

     

    Revan says, "What hell are you two doing? Do you know the meaning of be quiet?!" HK had a rifle pointed towards T3 and then points his head towards Revan and says "Expletive: Damn it master, I'm an assassination droid, not a dictionary!"

     

    Revan says "Okay assassination droid, I'm your master, and I say stand down now" HK-47 says "Disappointed statement: Awww..." Revan then says "Shut down" HK-47 shuts down.

     

    Revan says "T3, you shut down too."

     

    Jolee takes the last sip of his blue milk before he runs out, and then points the cup upside down and looks in it before setting the cup down and saying "Heh, you always on your toes sonny?" Revan replied and said "No, but they're my droids, and they will not misbehave when everyone else is sleeping, sometimes I question whether they're intelligent robotic beings, or schutta simulators..."

     

    Jolee said, "You always are a feisty one" he chuckled. Revan sits down and sighs. Jolee looks at him, shortly after rubbing his eyes and says "Something seems to be knocking around in that big head of yours"

    Revan said "Yes, I'm thinking of my master, she was one hell of a teacher, too bad she's probably not around anymore."

     

    Jolee said "Ah... I'm hungry"

    Revan said "How is that relevant to this?" Jolee says "Come on damn it, can't an old man just get something to eat? You talk more than a Gamorrian who hasn't had lunch" "Speaking of lunch, I want dinner, or lunch, or something to eat, hell if know the time"

    Revan looked at Jolee with an irritated face and sighed, then he said "Fine fine, I'll get your... Lu- I mean.. I'll get you something to eat" Jolee chuckled and said "Thanks"

     

    Revan went and grabbed a bit of a strange looking meat, some bread, and more blue milk, from some of the canisters in the cargo hold, as he was walking back he tripped over a piece of metal that was sticking up, and face planted." He stood back up, picking up what he didn't ruin, and walked back to Jolee, handing it to him.

     

    Jolee began pigging out on the food, with a full mouth he said "So, what about this master?"

    Revan said "You'd like her, she's wise, a bit mysterious at times, and isn't a fool, I'm what I am because of her"

    Jolee said "Look at who's being mysterious now, heh. What's this master's name?"

     

    There was a pause for a moment. A cool breeze swept across the Ebon hawk.

    Revan said "Kreia, her name is Kreia"

    Jolee said "Ah I know a kreia"

    Revan replied and said "You do?!"

    Jolee said "Yeah I know lots of kreias, most don't age well, end up becoming old scows"

    Revan looked at him, with a facial expression relevant to this -_-

    Jolee says "All right, all right, I met a Kreia once, was exiled by the Jedi council, had an odd stature, very strange motives inside her"

    Revan said "Go on" Jolee pauses, and grabs his blue milk, gulping it down. Jolee then said "She had bantha breath like you, I went up from the shadowlands for a day or so, just to trade in a few things, was a bad season for tach hunting, had no choice" Revan said "She was on kashyyyk?" Jolee then went into a flashback

     

    Jolee was walking along a Wookie-run market, and he was trading in a few exotic plants he had found, when suddenly he bumps into an old blinded woman, wearing black robes. Jolee said "Oh I'm sorry didn't see ya there"

    Kreia said "It would be wise if you'd look around you, do not be a fool, and do not apologize, apologies are for those who don't believe in fate"

    Kreia looked down at Jolee's side and saw a lightsaber, and said "You're affiliated with the Jedi?"

    Jolee said, "Me? Jedi? Ha!" "I'm just an old man with a glowing stick and a shattered past"

    Kreia looked at him and said "It would be wise not to try and fool me"

    Jolee said, "And why's that?" Putting his hand on his lightsaber.

    Kreia said "I am far more than you can comprehend as of now, I am the reason this galaxy will not come a horrible end" Jolee said "Humble are we?" He chuckled.

    Kreia then said, "Enough" force pushing him over.

    Jolee stood up and drew his lightsaber and said "What the hell is wrong with you woman? What happened when women had class? Damn this galaxy is changing for the worse"

    Kreia drew her lightsaber and said "I'll tell you again, it would be wise not to mess with someone such as I"

    Jolee said "You've already poked the bantha" he jumped over her and they had a short flurry of lightsaber clashes.

     

    Jolee was on the defensive, blocking every attack Kreia threw at him.

    Kreia picked up her pace, hitting a bit more aggresively until they get into a saber clash, pushing against each others sabers, she knocks his saber out of his hand, and uses the force to pick it up and put it but a few inches from slitting his throat.

     

    Kreia said "I will spare you old man, but only because you're part of the plan"

    She dropped his lightsaber, turned off hers, and began walking away.

     

    She said "What a rusty pearl"

    And he said "What a broken crow"

     

    The flashback ended, and Revan said "What plan?"

    Jolee said, "I think she meant you sonny"

    Hey all!

    As a newcomer to the forums, I felt it only right that I start things off by saying hello. (So when you see me commenting on mods you don't go "Who is this noob?! How dare he post here without an introduction?! BAN HAMMER!!!" :P).

     

    A little about me, I'm Canadian. I've been a gamer for a long time now, ever since my parents bought me a Sega Genesis as a kid. I've been a fan of Kotor since I saw my best friend's brother playing it on the Xbox, and it's my opinion that TSL is the best story to ever be included in the Star Wars saga. I'm also fond of watching anime, and it's a dream of mine to become an indie game developer and something of a semi-prolific modder. I'm just too unmotivated half the time to be a creator and not just a consumer.

     

    What else... I'm 26 and a recent web design grad, I'm happily married (Sorry ladies XD *shot*), I have an unhealthy love for parentheses, and I'm a bit of a dork who likes to think acting pretentious is cool.

     

    I found my way to deadlystream a few days ago when I had my desire to play the Kotor series rekindled, only to find out that the filefront Kotor site had been officially nuked (sad day). Since I refuse to live without mods, I went on a quest to find a new community with more than the paltry fourty five mods found on the nexus. I'd have been happy to lurk and just check out the latest mods, but I decided it was really about time I came out of the shadows to actually express my gratitude properly to the many amazing people who've thus far been far motivated than myself and whose mods I greatly enjoy.

     

    Anyways, it's nice to meet you all! I don't know just how much I'll be on here, but I'll be around!

    Hey TheDarkChocolateJedi,  what can we do to trigger the interest to Lucasarts so they would decide to start the project for Star Wars The Force Unleashed 3 next year? 

     

     

     

     

     

    I'd advise one starts a petition, but those rarely work out, and seeing as canon has already been established and the people over at Disney and LucasArts are stubborn as rocks. So, the only way I see it happening is either A: A fan project, or B: A very successful petition that I doubt would ever gain success.

    I know that the games of TFU and TFU2  are a little bit boring to play,

     

    but  after TFU2   who rescue Vader?  Boba Fett or what   :question:[/size] [/size]

     

    Personally, I enjoyed them, but i think I would have preferred TFU3 than a Star Wars rebels.

     

    Don't get me wrong, rebels is cool, and I like how we get to see characters from The Clone wars, yet still, we could have gotten TFU3 and an actual The Clone wars season 6/7, But I digress.

     

    Besides, TFU had an amazingly powerful jedi who can pull down star destroyers, I mean seriously, then you come along and replace him with a bratty street rat (Ezra). Honestly, 'tis the truth.

    Steam Brat:It is quite obvious my fellow steam brats that I have come to a conclusion, people who play video games that run under 60 FPS should be tortured for long periods of time and then they can slowly bleed to death, but five minutes before they bleed to death we should hang them!

     

    Other stream brat: Oh how i do concur my dear friend, how atrocious can you get with gaming these days? What slobs, WAIT THERE IS A GAME CALLED STAR WARS KNIGHTS OF THE OLD REPUBLIC!!! IT RUNS UNDER 60 FPS AND THERE AREN'T EVEN NOBLES OR KNIGHTS IN IT *Jumps off cliff*

    I may be watching on opening day, got some coupons for movie tickets, perhaps i could take a lady? Yeah right, i wish haha!
     

    No really, i'd like it if we could avoid spoilers aswell, because i may or may not see it soon... and i think it would be courteous to others if we do not start talking episode 7 until at least a month after release.
