I've always been wanting Curse of the Sith here so more people can discover what an awesome mod it is (ahem, especially with my mod review :3)
I'd also like to see the Hawkz pad

Feel free to PM Shem or any other author that had files on Filefront to ask them to upload their own mods here. (You ought to check if an author hasn't already done so first but that's just common sense.)
Here's Shem's profile to get you started.
I PM'd Shem on LF a while ago. Still waiting for a response. (It was a couple of hours ago. So now we patiently wait

Do they have any plans to do something similar for KotOR1?
Honestly, probably not. Since the game already came out for Mac, Aspyr doesn't have much else to do. It came out several years ago on the Mac and they slightly update it every few months. The odds are very slim, but then again, that's what everyone thought for TSL
-
We should've moved mods from their to here. I know that would've been without permission of the mod author, but now everything is gone. We should've just had one account (maybe named Kotorfiles) and have that upload all the mods and give full credit to the original author. It would have taken forever, but it would have been worth it.

lol, the part where all you really need is a type of grenade and one of the three rancor poison serums you pick up and he thought it was too hard. XD Apparently, this is a pretty common problem. You'd think people would pay more attention to the severed arm right before the Rancor.
I always place a mine because I never use them haha.

I have not looked into it yet, but I will.
And that's where Rece comes in.
He likes modding on a Mac (and proving that you can...)
That's for sure! I'm fine with being the guinea pig heheh.

Quick question about the screens: does the new version come with widescreen UI fixed or are you using a mod *ahem*
It's automatic. No need for a mod for the UI fix. It's perfectly fine

I just managed to install a mod on the new KotOR II Mac version with the TSLPatcher using Wine.
First make sure you have installed TSLRCM (and only TSLRCM) with the workshop. After that you can install your mod with the TSLPatcher with the direction folder the TSLRCM mod is installed in (so not your game itself).
It's probably in Users/yourname/Library/Application Support/Steam/Steamapps/Workshop/content/(and then some folders that use numbers as their name). The folder you arrive in is used by steam to overwrite the files in the gameapp while playing.
The only thing I tried out were the new TOR HK-Models by Darth Parametric (which are wonderful) with the reskins by Kainzorus Prime. So far it all seems to work.
Also what I want to know: are two mods on the Steam workshop that for example both use the appearance .2da compatible with each other or does one overwrite the other?
and BTW: I see a lot of people start to upload content which isn't theirs. Is that even allowed? It seems like a shitty move to me. :S
They will overwrite each other. That's why we should just stick with the TSLPatcher.

I asked this over at LF, but I'll ask it here as well:I don't have many TSL mods, but I was thinking of making them available on the Workshop (which I've never used). An obvious one is my [TSL] Head Model Fixes since it just has .mdl & .mdx files to overwrite. The question is, do I split it into six separate mods (one for each head model) so that it doesn't clash with anyone else's modified model?Another mod I'd like to put up is [TSL] Player & Party Underwear, but I'd have to remove BaoDur, Handmaiden & Mira since they need the patcher to change some of the appearance.2da entries. I'm just not sure if I should split this one up too, so that players can choose which of the four Female undies to use, which of the four Male undies to use, and which of the six undies (3LS & 3DS) to use for Visas.Or are small time mods like these just no worth it for Steam Workshop, and players should just download the existing mods, TSLPatcher and all? I guess I just figured that I'd try and help out all the Mac people that can't run the patcher.
Well, I've been playing Kotor 2 for a while on my Mac now. To run the TSLPatcher, all we need is an app called Wine or Crossover, those two run .exe files. So we can install mods properly through that. I have a video on my YouTube channel about it.

The Steam Workshop seems pointless. I feel it'd make everything easier to just upload mods with the TSLPatcher...

Omg that moment that I've been waiting for my whole life but I don't have an updated OS and I'll have to stick with playing it through the PC Version...

You have to fill this out:
1) During the game, when did the problem begin to occur?
2) Did you install the latest version of the mod? (1.8.3b and 1.1b respectively)
3) What version of the game do you have? (Steam, GOG, 4CD, KotOR Collection?) What region is the game designed for if it's the 4 CD version?
4) Did you update your game as required by your game's region? (4-CD version ONLY)
5) Did you install this over the previous version(s), or did you perform a fresh installation as required by the TSLRCM's read-me file?
6) What other mods have you installed? Please give an accurate list and provide links to each of these mods - even if they are found on this site. (We don't actually know them all!.)
7) Can you be more specific about the error? At what point did it happen?
8) Have you tried re-downloading/re-installing the mod?
9) Have you tried using a different save game?
10) Have you tried starting a new game?
11) What Operating System do you use? (List Virtual Machines as well if you are using them.)
12) Can you confirm that you see the TSLRCM logo on the the main menu screen? -
Long time, no update thanks to a few real life things. Anyways, this is apart of my head reskin mod that I'm working on. I'm touching all parts of the face as you'll see. The next things that I need to work on are lips and touching up on some eyes as well.
So in these images, I have worked on: Eyes, Shading of the face as well as reskinning it
Up next to work on: Touching on the eyes, lips, maybe eyebrows, and some color changes to hair.
First up, PFHA01-05:
Next up, PFHB01-05:
Finally, PFHC01-05:

Call of Duty 4. I still play it every single day. Been playing it since it came out in 2007. If you guys have it on the computer, tell me and I will show you all the best servers around on the game
(I'm an admin on them as well) and they were ranked the top servers in the game.

I can understand why the jesus head mod disapearred, and perhaps you should ask someone good with textures like Rece?
I Uhh.. Thank you for saying I'm a good texture maker and all, but my skills need huge improving. I haven't been modding for the past three weeks, and I'm starting up again soon with a secret project that I'm starting that'll release whenever I feel like it, but it'll take a while. Anyways, I would honestly consult someone who's really good at making custom models. Thanks again for the recommendation DCJ

that will never happen, at least not for years and years and years. it looks like that planet was abandoned v early on, so theres not much content to "restore" rather than just to "create." the modules you can walk thru look pretty empty.
Funny. That's why SithSpecter has been working on the mod for a long time. I'd check the WIP section before you post something like that.

hey, there isn't an edit button, ok? and yeah, how do i find that .exe you speak of? And i think you hit the send button a little early, could you please try that again?
I didn't end that post. An m and n will randomly appear sometimes if I'm on mobile. No clue why.
And just watch this or something...
-
There is a .exe found in most mods that'll automatically install each mod m
-
All of my mods should be compatible with K1R so yeah.
-
There's only one problem so far that I can see with that Taris image other then some parts of the texture. It's going to look drastically different when you're in the cut scenes that show Taris... Idk if you can edit the cutscene videos, but yeah...
-
The thing with the stealth fields and etc has to do with Frame Buffer Effects in the graphics options. Depending on your graphics card, you can enable or disable it.
-
Aight well I'm not giving up completely just yet.
But i have to say I'm getting frustrated with these, and the fact that - no Photoshop - is just adding to it.
You don't have photoshop? Have you tried GIMP?
-
Umm. There's a tutorials section for a reason haha. Check out everything there or on LF. Or ask around.

I still have an executable for gmax if that's what you need. And possibly 3dmax as well
