Hey, I’ve been wondering. Would it be possible to create a plugin that would automate converting an imported MakeHuman model to a format that KotORBlender could export?

Every time I go to "unread" I just get the default view. Also, I liked "new posts" on the old forums better than "unread", because it was easy to go back to the latest threads even after clicking on them once. Seemed just more functional.
”Activity” > ”My Activity Streams” > (the name of your new stream)
Also, clicking the ”previous” button seems to update the stream, so you can go back to the unread posts list and be up-to-date, unlike in the old version. Or maybe it’s just because I’m using a different browser.

There is this old known issue with the installer, I’m not sure whether it persists with the current download or not. See this post:

Don’t get ahead of yourself. The casting is still open for those roles. (I may be working on something else though, but that’s outside of the scope of this topic.)

Yeah, well. Audacity imports them if you change the file extension, but they sound like a mess. Something to do with the compression algorithm perhaps. (Then again, I didn’t try to drag a file straight to the track. On the other hand, I’m not sure Audacity works that way - or that it would import the file differently in that case.)

I was going to splice some lines, but failed at the ”decompress” step, since... you know, ”not saving” and all that. (It claims to be working just fine, new files simply don’t appear anywhere. Unless my antivirus is going awry, of which I have no proof of, it’s very confusing.)

Well technically, I still do have a working XP machine with a working installation of Miles Sound Tool, so I could just as well use that, but old computers are not forever, so I’m trying to switch all functions to my newer one. Including my modding tools. I’ll PM you if all else fails, but I’ll try to cover my basis first.

I seem to be unable to send comments on downloads that don’t currently have comments, although some of them still do have comments sent and commenting them works. Or maybe it’s just an issue with specific files. I am confused. Is this caused by the updated version?

Does anyone have Miles Sound Tool that would work on something newer than XP, though? The 32-bit installer I have doesn’t run on 64-bit 8.1 (which I’m using. No, I won’t switch to 10 without buying a new computer) and the 64-bit installer I got from FS does install, but the installed program doesn’t actually save any files I’m trying to convert.

Maybe a ”zoom” or ”change font size” setting? (A max-width setting so that it doesn’t spread too much on a big screen, but adjust comfortably nonetheless? I wouldn’t know though, my screen isn’t that big.) Just an idea. I don’t mind the theme per se, other than the fact that I’m completely lost 90 % of the time.

It’ll take a while to get used to it, that’s for sure. Also, avatar issues. I’m confident things will sort themselves out, though.

As long as registry entries are not a problem, yeah. I prefer using the same location to avoid Windows’ file path issues.

Sometimes they get automatically generated if you delete them, but I’m not sure if it works here. Me, I just keep backups of clean files. Quite easy in that case. :/
You may need a reinstall. Then again, you could make a backup copy/rename the existing game folder, make a clean install, copy the new .ini file and overwrite the one in the modded game folder in there, and then move everything back. Quite a heavy procedure, but it gets the job done, and you don’t lose your modded stuff.
-
May I say that I like the look of what’s going on here?

I believe I fixed a similar issue by resetting my game’s .ini file once, but I’m not 100% sure. It’s been a while.

Well, I’d start checking the appearance and armor the character is using, and then seeing what’s in the slot in the appearance.2da. I once had some weird issues with an appearance row where body model was set as ”****”.
-
Sounds like the body model of the character is missing.
-
”Cubemappery” is simply a made-up word I created on the fly because I couldn’t remember the correct one. If the cause is what I think it is, all you need is some tweaking in the appearance.2da, but I can’t remember which field it is. :|
-
Sounds about right to me. I had one mod doing that once, the cause was the said mod changing the default cubemap section in the appearance.2da for the characters, which then resulted transparency being converted into... cubemappery. (In my case, plain white, since I had Intel card, which doesn’t like certain texture dimensions.)

Could you... possibly hex the 1.0 alpha value to a lower one and see if that crashes, to verify whether the problem lies within the alpha value or the compilation? Just a thought.
-
This is thrilling news. Looking forward to updates!

It’s a multi-planet mod, but Korriban is part of it.
-
You know what... my mod manuscript is definitely going to benefit from this discussion. I was awfully struggling with a Korriban portion, but I think I can make it work now...

For the sake of covering as much ground as possible, would anyone want to give instructions for Blender as well?

Somebody correct me if I’m wrong - but, by my understanding, sounds can be assigned only by type, not by variant (in that case, certain colour).
