    Hello everyone! After getting a great tip from Effix I was able to continue my work on the Onderon Military mod. So, here are some screens from Iziz Port master Ordinary soldier in the port The Checkpoint Some Vaklu soldiers Interrigator up close Checkpoint with Captain Gelesi Captain Riiken Gegorran's babysitter Instead of generic soldier near the crowd - a lieutenenat Bridge checkpoint with Captain Bostuco Update: - checked that General Vaklu has apropriate uniform - edited the Lieutenant near the crowd to have Soldier body instead of the officer one, to have the same as in the vanilla version - Tweaked soldiers near the Bridge to have a Lieutenant as a replacement guy (in case the player blows up Batsuco he takes his place) and edited other soldiers to have armor as well Now I'm thinking about Tobin's face (texture of his face looks to generic for a Unique Character), maybe I should add some scars for him. Also I have some thoughts about the General Vaklu Uniform, maybe I should make the top of the uniform also white (Though, in this case it will get some Thrawn vibes, I guess)

    Coming off of my first major project, K1 Companion Sidequest Rewards, my focus is still on gameplay/design enhancements for the first Kotor. Something that struck me during my most recent playthrough is how unimportant/tacked on skills feel. This next project's goal will be to further imbed skills into K1's gameplay, validating INT/Sent/Skill focused builds as a more meaningful choice for players. The outline for this project builds on the awesome work by @jc2 and their Improved Grenades mod. For the other skills, I have the following ideas (ascending rank in terms of perceived difficulty): Computer Use → "Unlocking" T3-M4's ability to act as an upgrade bench (ala my Sidequest Reward mod) Treat Injury → Swapping Canderous Implants (ala TSL) Repair → Custom skill challenge with T3-M4 to create unique items: Dual Wieldable Stun Batons Lightsaber variants (Reg/Short/Double) Unique Droid Items for T3-M4/HK-47 Recreate Revan's "Original" lightsaber Persuade → Make all* merchants adjust their prices based on persuade skill Awareness → Swap out all Sith assassin encounters ("Malak was most displeased...") with: Create some kind of trigger that initiates a cutscene/dialog Spawn in Sith assassins during scene, framed as though they came out of stealth If Awareness (per current party member) is less than X, they lose half their health Regular dialog/Regular combat (Potential; Spawn in more assassins based on player level/difficulty) I have a sense on how to approach all of these ideas except the last one...creating custom encounters is totally out of my current understanding. As always, if anyone has any tips/comments/warnings on any of the above, I am eager to hear them.

    You can replace a body slot, yes. You an either replace the model files, which would affect everyone who uses that model file, or patch appearance.2da to have entries point to a new model, which would only affect whomever you want. It depends on what you want to do. Models can be edited with the following tools: KOTORmax and 3ds Max//Gmax or KotORBlender and Blender MDLedit or MDLOps

    Hi everyone, I wanted to let you guys know we are hard at work on the mod. I have a tutorial video on the KLE ( kotor level editor ) , where I show you how I'm placing in npcs, the dlg and the animation. In the beginning of the video you will see the Hutt Lounge on Nar shaddaa fully populated and animated. The tutorial is for you guys to see the inner workings of building a mod like this. I hope the video is helpful for other modders, giving them a work flow using the KLE in their projects. Second tutorial video is on setting up a combat level using KLE and Fair Strides's NPC Auto-Leveller 1.0. Logan23
