This mod replaces the starfield and nebula textures used as backdrops during many sequences of the game to a higher resolution (some 512x512, some 1024x1024).

 

INSTALLATION

 

Copy all files included in this archive into your Override folder.

 

UNINSTALLATION

 

Take them out again.

looks like another must-have "minor" tweak no doubt ... 

 

and the original size of these were .... 128x128? 256x256? dude??

Well, the smallest ones are actually 128x128. One example for that is the Yavin space texture, which is also why I only scaled it up to 512x512. But other textures where actually 512x512 and some were 256x256.

And I'm glad you like the idea of this mod and hope that you'll be happy with the new textures :)

I was about to ask precisely that ... the Yavin Station exterior space texture ... 128 to 512 there then?
