I am being 100% honest I've been typing it wrong for years! I am sorry for the inconvenience of having to write an entire blog just to get the message across! I'll try to correct minor errors in my typing but if I miss one good thing we have the trust worthy Admins to correct them and take the time to make a blog post correcting it!

Mmmm yes. Being highly aware of grammatical and spelling errors, it's irking to see them. But common mistakes can be associated with hitting keys in the wrong order, or simply English isn't their native language (discounting dyslexia of course). That's tolerable.

It's when the person doesn't care because they don't want to (out of rebellion) or cannot comprehend why it's important and refuse to try. They have no idea how foolish they make themselves look.

Then there are individuals that see the red squiggly line under almost every word, and they completely ignore it.

Some say distinguishing between "they're" "there" and "their" is hard. Or distinguishing between "too" "two" and "to" is hard. It's not. It's so easy it's ridiculous. I have found that I say them differently, but very subtly. I'll say "there" normally, but then put a hint of emphasis on the "ei" in "their", and with "they're" I'll say it like Bayer. Same with too, two, and to. Mouth the "W" in "two". Say "to" normally. Make more of an "o" with too.

I'm just busting chops. N-DReW is FAR from the only person to use the wrong version of hangar on the forums.

These spelling things are jokes. Yes, they are factual but still . . . just jokes.

Thank goodness, this is one of my personal pet peeves. You'd be surprised how many pilots use hanger instead of hangar...

@HK-47: I didn't put the word "Hanger" simply out of some sort of Rebellious act or out of not caring about spelling I honestly didn't know it was called "Hangar"!

Like Sithspector has stated many people including pilots call it "Hanger" because at least for me I don't hear the "A" after the "Hang" I hear "ER" so I'll assume many people do the same and call it "Hanger"! (And I don't get red squiggly lines under the word "Hanger" because it thinks I am referring to the Coat Hanger or whatever Sith Holocron was referring to in the Indiana Jones Clip)

Sithspecter, I wouldn't be surprised at all to see pilots incorrectly spell "hangar" as I see badly formatted messages from pilots all the time.

Oh boy - how did this get past the editors at EA/Bioware? This is from the "Starfighters of Corellia" daily mission on Corellia.



If you like SWTOR, you might want to send a report to the makers so they can fix this.

If you hate SWTOR, report it as well - just to annoy them.

And yes, that is a ridiculous name and title for my character.
