I assume a community moderator is not a Valve employee and more like a forum volunteer (same as here), except they revel in the fact that they have to power to silence speech they don't like. I'm not an internet-moderator, nor do I have any problem with any form of speech as long as they add something of value to the discussion. If a post that adds inherent value to a conversation is removed and the poster is banned I would call it silencing them, as it prohibits them from speaking their mind and convincing the opposition of their viewpoint. So my question here is: Is that the case here? What did this post add to the discussion that was valuable? If it did not add anything new to the discussion and was solely posted there to get a rise out of certain people I wouldn't call it an unfair decision or "abuse".
