Dacna 0 Posted August 2, 2014 Hey guys, I'm creating this blog because i have yet to see a blog containing my issue. I recently bought the original discs and installed them to my computer. Everything that I've seen so far runs properly even before I installed the Restored content mod. the issue is that the home screen doesn't have a full person on it. it has a pair of floating eyes where they should be on the person and the rest of the body is in the bottom right hand corner of the screen. the view of the body is from the feet going along the z axis away from the screen. This issue continues into the NEW GAME option where you have to pick a new character. Then when playing the game the main character's head is floating face-down away from the body while the rest of the body is floating on its side pointing away from the screen. Once again the rest of the game seemingly works fine, the body moves properly while walking even, its just the positioning of the parts of the main character. If anyone could help that would be awesome. This is for KotOR 2 btw

Dacna 0 Posted August 3, 2014 Only the Restored content mod. I installed it hoping it would have a fix for my issue. It didn't
Dacna 0 Posted August 3, 2014 1) When did the problem begin to occur? Occurred as soon as I loaded up the game for the first time 2) Did you install the latest version of the mod? Yes. 3) What version of the game do you have? (Steam, 4CD, KotOR Collection?) What region is the game designed for if it's the 4 CD version? I bought the 4 CDs in English. 4) Did you update your game as required by your game's region? (Updates are included in the Steam version. Skip this question if you are using that.) Yes, thought that would fix any issues I could have(updated before playing). 5) Did you install this over the previous version(s), or did you perform a fresh installation as required by the TSLRCM's read-me file?I did not re-install the game. The issue wasn't caused by the mod which is working perfectly from what I've seen so far (haven't really played due to the issue). 6) Did you use the TSLPatcher, if provided? Yes, used prior to launching the game. 7) Were there any errors in the TSLPatcher installation? No errors were listed 8) What other mods have you installed? Please give an accurate list and provide links to each of these mods - even if they are found on this site. (We don't actually know them all!.) I have only installed TSLRCM mod that is featured on this site. Once again, the issue wasn't with the mod. 9) Can you be more specific about the error? At what point did it happen? The problem started with the menu screen. The character that is supposed to be displayed is just a pair of floating eyeballs with the rest of the body on its side shooting away from the screen along the z-axis in the bottom right hand corner of the screen. This issue is preserved through the character selection screen when making a new game. When the game loads up the main character's head is floating face-down with an out of proportion tongue extending through the head. The rest of the body is floating to the right of the head on its side facing away from the screen along the z-axis. Character preserves movement when told to walk but the hands and fingers extend as if the character was "Gary's Modded". All other characters i have encountered so far are fine. This issue isn't fixed even through loading the saved game. 10) Have you tried re-downloading the mod? I have not tried to re-download the mod due to the mod not causing the issue. 11) Have you tried using a different save game? All saved games preserve the glitch/problem. 12) Have you tried starting a new game? I have tried starting a new game several times but there is no change. 13) What Operating System do you use? (List Virtual Machines as well if you are using them.) I am running Windows 7 Pro.
Hassat Hunter 571 Posted August 3, 2014 You probably need to upgrade your graphic card drivers...
Dacna 0 Posted August 3, 2014 my driver passed the systems check of the game. I'm using a laptop so that's not really a viable option(unless i'm just stupid).
