Maeve4444 0 Posted October 25, 2013 I'm in the HK-51 side of HK Factory and as I understand from a forum discussion ("Help With Hk 47 Droid Factory And Malachor V") that there is supposed to be a HK-50 with a datapad in a small room on HK-51 side of factory. I do see a droid on floor behind a desk but am unable to interact with it. Is there an item code so I could use KSE to add the needed datapad to my inventory? Also, I should note that my quest log is blank so I was guessing what to do. I did get to factory and cut-scene occurred with HK-50s who then shoot at me. i ran up the ramp healing my self to terminal and unlocked doors. I fortunately went right to the HK-51 factory and unknowingly did the correct steps - 51 behavior core and 47 behavior program. Now I can't activate the HK-51's and assume that is what the datapad is needed for. Please Help.
Maeve4444 0 Posted October 25, 2013 I did complete the HK Factory Quest okay. I guess it change from that forum discussion and the datapad is not needed. I killed off all the HK-50's and then went to terminal in center which told me I need to shut down the primary (HK-50) when I attempted to activate the secondary (HK-51) line. Went to HK-50 side and deactivated their production which automatically activated all the HK-51's. After defeating rest of HK-50's I went back to main room and then to terminal on center of ramp. When I activated back-up HK-51 production line a cut scene started which ended quest. I had blank quest log so it was confusing to know what to do. Hassat Hunter 571 Posted October 25, 2013 The blank log may be another mod overwriting globals.jrl. Which is kinda bad...
Maeve4444 0 Posted October 25, 2013 I don't have any other mods.... ?
Sith Holocron 2,473 Posted October 25, 2013 Can we see a screen shot over your Override folder then?
Maeve4444 0 Posted October 25, 2013 Is there a way to see if my global.jrl is okay or to replace with a good file? Here you go Uh - how do I attach the screen shot? figured it out -- here's the screen shot
Hassat Hunter 571 Posted October 25, 2013 The change date. It could be only globals.jrl or the dialog.tlk.
Maeve4444 0 Posted October 25, 2013 Okay -- attached zip file with pics of entire override folder with the details. global.jrl date is 5/30/2012 2:22 pm dialog.tlk date is ---- I don't have dialog.tlk in override folder. Should I? Overide folder details.zip
Maeve4444 0 Posted October 25, 2013 @ Hassat Hunter - FYI, I just started KOTOR 1 to do a complete DS playthru and the movies are blank there too. Definitely got to be NVIDIA driver update I just did the other day.
VarsityPuppet 1,085 Posted October 26, 2013 For what it's worth the Core Upload console is in a totally different place this time around.
Hassat Hunter 571 Posted October 26, 2013 Well, override looks in order. The changedate on the globals.jrl matches TLSRCM 1.8.2, so nothing wrong there. So probably dialog.tlk then. It's not in override, but the root folder, along with the .exe.
Maeve4444 0 Posted October 26, 2013 dialog.tlk data is 10/20/2013 12:19 AM FYI - The unis000.dat and executable are both dated 10/19/2013 11:20 AM. I assume that is when I installed it. P.S. I reverted to the NVIDIA driver just before the most recent update and the movies are playing ok.
Hassat Hunter 571 Posted October 26, 2013 Okay, that's odd. TSLRCM's dialog.tlk is dated 16-12-2012. So I'm going to assume something modified it and removed the HK-entries. Could you upload it somewhere?
Maeve4444 0 Posted October 27, 2013 here's the dialog.tlk file that is in my root folder. Just to let you know - I had some mods when I have TSLRCM version 1.6. I deleted (uninstalled) them and v1.6; then I used Steam to update/refresh my vanilla game. Then I installed TSLRCM 1.8.2 and that is my only mod. hmmm -- here is the dialog.tlk in a zip file (didn't see warning before posting previously) dialog.zip
Hassat Hunter 571 Posted October 27, 2013 It is indeed the vanilla 1.0b dialog.tlk, not having our added entries. Which explains why they turned up blank instead.
Maeve4444 0 Posted October 27, 2013 should I reinstall 1.8.2?
Hassat Hunter 571 Posted October 27, 2013 Probably your best bet, yeah.

Guest Posted June 8, 2015 I'm also having this problem, I have both M4-78 and 1.8.3 installed but when I get to the droid the game shows me the icon if I stand directly in front of the desk but if I move around the desk the icon disappears, this is making me really angry honestly as I've waited years to get a good enough PC to play this and the Witcher 3 and this is blocking my progress. Hassat Hunter 571 Posted June 22, 2015 It doesn't have anything, this is not a bug. The "selectable" thing is a bug, but all NPC's who are made dead by script have this, it's just an engine issue (which thus we can't fix).
