Stuck at door

So I'm stuck,

 

I'm at the bit early on in the industrial section where I've searched all the cleaning bots and found the piece I was missing but now I have no idea what to do.

 

I know I have to open the door but I can't work out how.

 

I'm in the industrial section and talked to every droid I can there and in central but still no idea.

 

Please help!

I'm sure you can find a droid that knows A LOT about droid parts... including something about one you found.

 

like a maintenance droid back in the Central Zone.

I am in the same situation, however I've talked with the

Maintenance Droid

in the Central Sector and I can't seem to select any quest related dialogue. He mentions that a cleaning droid stole a part from him, but if I offer to find the piece for him, I eventually can only say Goodbye and walk away. Am I just missing something? My quest log states to find "A droid that knows a lot about droid parts" and I figured it would be him, but can't get any conversation triggers with him.

 

Thoughts?

Odd actually after searching around the cleaning droids again I found one which let me search his trash compacters and then informed me that I found the part I was looking for. However, the quest "Trash Compacters" had already updated to inform me that I had found it when, after searching a previous cleaning droid, I was told the part was not there. It seems some journal entry triggered too early or something like that for some reason.

I believe what he told you was a clue as to what you need to look for.

For instance the bit of how the part may be in the "possession" of the cleaning droid

Well the problem was that I didn't talk to the Maintenance droid until after my quest log had idicated that I had already found the part. Regardless that my quest log said I had the part, I don't believe I actually did, because I spent some time in the Industrial Zone

investigating more cleaning droids and found one which then said I had found the part

and it then further updated the Archon quest log. During this time before I found the part though, the "Trash Compacters" quest log had said I already found the part and needed to look for  a droid who knew a lot about parts.

Seems something worth investigating... might be while I fixed all droids having the part (1.0 bug) I overlooked a questchange :/
