Guest We are called Legion... Posted April 25, 2011 If a KotOR 3 is made, (and the Drew Karpyshyn Revan novel just might be KotOR 3 just as a book) I wish that the HK factory is included in one way or another. I would love to see HK have his own personal army of HK-51s! But back on topic... Keep up the fantastic work with TSLRCM guys! You skills are an amazing gift to KotOR 2 fans everywhere! VarsityPuppet 1,085 Posted April 25, 2011 If ever there was made a KOTOR3 and HK-47 wasn't included because "he should go to Mustafar from Malachor V" I will kill that person! Then again it might also explain how he got from Malachor to Mustafar. If a KotOR 3 is made, (and the Drew Karpyshyn Revan novel just might be KotOR 3 just as a book) I wish that the HK factory is included in one way or another. Hassat Hunter 571 Posted April 25, 2011 I think he wants the factory's HK-51's end to proceed a little longer .
Mandalore 61 Posted April 25, 2011 I agree. The HK-51 army needs a bigger part, besides the squad that went to Malachor. And is it a bit weird if I actually agree with HK-47's notions on assassin droid independence?
Hassat Hunter 571 Posted April 25, 2011 Back to an actual update; check the screenshots sections once more . Well, I just did add that myself, so it's up to Stoney and Zbyl to decide wheter it will actually appear ingame in 1.8, but if not, expect it as a mod on 1.8 release day anyways . Guest SiZo Posted April 25, 2011 Is there an estimated release date for the mod, anyway? Question2: I found it a little disappointing that after freeing your teammates, you couldn't speak to them (in a TSLRP trailer, I saw a scene in which the exile interacts with Disciple who is already in a force cage). Is it going to be restored in the upcoming 1.8 version? This interaction scene not being in the game and the party members just running away without saying at least a "thanks" after being freed, I think, makes the scenes in the Trayus Academy a little weird. The party is in there along with the exile and do not share a word with each other concerning Kreia or something like that. Sorry if it's been asked before. Question3: Also, I didn't understand that why freeing your teammates is alignment-related. I played as a dark-sided female and didn't want to gas them, so I freed them and in the end I got a light side point. If we take the exile's abilities into account, she will need them in order to feed on them whereby she will become stronger, which is purely a dark side option. There is the another way in which she really wants to save them, which is purely a light side option. So I think freeing them shouldn't be treated as an alignment option. Why is it important? If you are a dark-sided character and free your teammates, you get a light side point which results in losing your bonuses gained by maximizing your dark side alignment. Of course, gassing them would remain a dark-sided option. But it is only my opinion.
Hassat Hunter 571 Posted April 25, 2011 1) No 2) It was in 1.4. While less sucky than the TSLRP variant, the current method is better. Although 1.8 will employ an even better method still. No talking to them though still (both 1.4 and TSLRP scavenged lines throughout the game, there is no VO specifically for there). 3) Sounds reasonable enough. Yeah, I don't see why DS chars would want to kill them either, so the "penalty" should be gone in that case. I'll see what I can do...
Mandalore 61 Posted April 25, 2011 I think that's all going to be in Malachor VI.
Guest Mablus25 Posted April 25, 2011 I can't wait till 1.8 comes out also if new features will be added?
Hassat Hunter 571 Posted April 25, 2011 Depends. What's your definition of "feature"? :?
Guest Mablus25 Posted April 25, 2011 I like the sub-storyline features also doing more sub-quests.
Hassat Hunter 571 Posted April 25, 2011 Still not a clue. But no additional sub-quests, from what I can tell. HK-Factory aside, Corrun Falt and Name the Gand where the only 2 side-quests that were restorable anyways. The rest is pretty much 1 entry, and thus not that usable. VarsityPuppet 1,085 Posted April 25, 2011 I think that's all going to be in Malachor VI. No VOs will be used for that part of Malachor VI. Instead, it will allow you to free your party members without direct contact. It's hard to explain without giving everything away, so I just won't explain it
Guest Mablus25 Posted April 26, 2011 I am glad the patch restored a tone of stuff on the game and it's making it more longer and more fun to play Kotor 2 TSL. Before this patch the game was too quick and had a tone of bugs and glitches. I can't wait till patch 1.8 is completed plus the sub-quests.
Hassat Hunter 571 Posted May 2, 2011 Useless Trivia Ahoy! During my current test-run of TSLRCM 1.8 the following things have been noted; 11 "Rare" item drops (drops at +5 compared to regular drops) 1 upgrade item 14 disposable (credits, grenades, medpacs) item drops 17 less than normal quantity of goodies 4 regular amount of goodies 25 "Peragus only" drops 8 more less than normal quantity (beats me why it's 2 different scripts/drops, since they are identical) 5 "low" droid drops 45 less than normal quanty of goods (yup, a 3rd clone!) Hassat Hunter 571 Posted May 4, 2011 Well, testing is on hold till my gaming PC gets fixed . Sadly, it seems a few things I was working for on TSLRCM were lost. Nothing that can't be re-done though, if I don't have forgotten them by the time I get my PC back...

Hassat Hunter 571 Posted May 4, 2011 Well, it seems it got back sooner than expected. Cause; Defective Graphical Card. I had the thing 2 months! Let's hope the current one isn't prone to such failures... Well, back to TSLRCM testing!

Hassat Hunter 571 Posted May 10, 2011 Then again it might also explain how he got from Malachor to Mustafar. Just saw a TOR trailer that showed him, so... meh.
