  1. I have an idea for reskins for the KotOR Games: What if people started including downscaled versions of their textures that would show when texture quality is adjusted in game? Would it be as simple as renaming .tga files to .tpa, .tpb, and .tpc files? This could be useful to ensure people with lower end computers could enjoy retextures with consistent texture resolution and without lag. Example: I have to turn down my graphics options down in the Jekk'Jekk' Tarr because the gas effects cause major lag. But, if I have a reskin for HK-47, he will look hi-rez compared to the rest of the scene and it might look weird. But if downscales were included, custom skins could blend in with the game for those with low-end hardware. I don't know if this will catch on, and I might just be super nitpicky, but it might be worth thinking about. Maybe super HD retextures could use this to provide regular HD and near HD options as well?
