  1. I have given some more thought to this, it could end up being a very good thing. Maybe Disney will allow Obsidian to go back and fix KotOR2 finally or let them release the tools needed to properly mod the first two games. Who would like to see Disney make a trilogy based on the KotOR games? With the release of KotOR3 being a year before the release of the first film?

  2. How about an easier option?

Require both TSLRCM 1.8 and Hassat Hunter's Handmaiden 4 Females - Disciple 4 Males (for TSLRCM 1.8.1) 1.0 as pre-requisites for using the Holocron Mod? Then you're still have an Exile - as either male or female - and you get to use Disciple.

I agree with SH on this 1. Disciple needs to become more important instead of staying a tool. I know VP has stated what the quest was supposed to be and in doing this mod you should stay as true to what was originally intended as possible. It makes no sense what so ever to make new force powers when there are what 4 or so FP mods out there that alot of people use.

  3. Thats because afetr running into 4 set of HK-50's T still had not gptten the HK-47 torture scene. So I checked yopu FAQ and it said to delete the eboenter file, so I did. It had served its purpose anyway. I only needed it for my first entrance onto the ebon hawk.

That is a neat little trick might have to try that next playthrough

  4. Hello. I've been looking around google to see if anyone can answer this, but so far no luck. Any time I put a file into my override Folder for KOTOR 1, my game will crash, no exception. At first I figured it was because a mod I tried was unstable, but when I pasted something as simple as a skin retexture into it, everything crashed.

I'm using the new Knights of the Old Republic Collection Bundle, if that helps.

Without mods, I can play the game fine, if not in full screen. But the minute a mod goes in, the screen goes black just before the main menu, and I get booted to my desktop which only stretches to the resolution I played the game in.

Have you had any luck with your issue?

  5. OK, so I played this game years ago, and it's very nostalgic for me, so when I heard it was finally on Steam I was delighted. I was even more delighted when I heard about the restored content mod.

I was not, however, delighted when the installation didn't work. I'm sure it's entirely my fault and probably completely obvious, but I'm stumped. I have placed the directory to the correct place (C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Knights of the Old Republic II) and have double and triple checked that it is there. I have uninstalled and re-installed it repeatedly. And still the new content does not appear. I have heard that the first sign that it is there is that 3C talks to you in the prologue instead of just beeping. He beeps. Also, there is no vibro-cutter and Kreia says nothing about the Ebon Hawk.

Can someone help with this? I really want to play this mod because it looks amazing and I consider this to be one of the greatest games ever.

Are there any files in your override folder after running the install?
