  1. We never saw Phasma without armor and her voice could be changed through her helmet, like Kylo Ren. Kix surfaced just a few years before TFA, so it's unlikely that he took on the role of a bounty hunter that died 20+ before he came out of his stasis pod.
  2. While we are on the topic of Boba Fett, how likely is it that he is somehow linked to Phasma ? They both seem to play the same role in TFA and ROTJ: looking cool but being useless in the end. What if Boba tought her that ancient mandalorain teachnique after escaping the Sarlacc ?
  3. I think Boba Fett's armor appeared in one map in Star Wars Battlefront. If it's canon or not is unknown.
  4. That would be be pretty hard, seeing how Anakin cut off both of his hand and then decapitated him.
  5. The First Order doesn't rule the galaxy like the Empire did. The New Republic didn't even view them as a thread because the First Order only operated in the Unknown Regions and generel public viewed them as nothing more than Imperials that didn't accpet the peace treaty that ended the Galactic Civil War. They are essentially just a facist army with Snoke as their leader, not a gouverment. A real pity that TFa didn't make this more clear.
  6. The only thing that speaks against this genius theory is that Mace lost his hand when Anakin hit him and Snoke still has both hands. But that just confirms my theory that Mace Windu survived and got a new organic hand when he was captured by the Yuuzhan Vong. (Off topic in regards to Nihilus: Force Drain could be resisted and without that Nihilus is just an above average force user. I've seen this in many YouTube videos, so I don't know how credible that info is since most channels don't site their sources. Wookiepedia also says that he only lifted the Ravager from the gravity well of Malachor V. Nihilus was by no means the most powerfull Sith, that title always belonged to Sidious because he had a lifetime to study everything the dark side had to offer and in the end was able to return from the dead. And no character can match the overpowerednes that Luke or Abiloth achieved in the EU.)
  7. I think it's horrible because it makes Darth Vader's redemption in the original trillogy completely worthless. The Prequels would then also fail to show Anakins fall to becoming Darth Vader since it just isn't the same person. Time travel was actually possible in a way. There was a Legends story in which a Sith Warship from the Great Hyperspace War appeared in the time after ROTJ. The crew was then defeated by Jaden Korr, the main character of Jedi Academy. Their time travel was linked to their hyperdrive being sabotaged. But I don't think anybody ever travelled back in time. The theory that he is Kylo is still on a whole new level of bullcrap.
  8. Snoke is the real Anakin Skywalker and Darth Vader was just a clone of Anakin is by far the worst.
  9. There is a short comic called "Into the Unknown" that is about Ha and Chewie making a blind hyperspace jump and crash landing on earth. More precisly, North America. Han is then killed by native americans and Chewie flees into the woods. Indiana Jones then discovers Han's remains 126 years later while searching for the Sasquatch, who turns out to be Chewbacca. It's obviusly neither part of Canon or Legends. We all know that the adventures of Indiana Jones are just Han's coma dream during the time he was frozen in carbonite.......
  10. One of my favorites among the bullcrap theories is that in Star Wars, all humans are really part of an insect like species and appear like humans so that audience wouldn't be alienated. Things that this theory uses as backup are the fact that the Deathstar is like a giant beehive, Stormtrooper all look like identical drones and that the age at which a person is considered mature is pretty low (around 19). It's a pretty old theory, most likely from before Empire Strikes Back. Another old one is that Boba Fett is the mother of Luke and Leia or that he killed Beru and Own Lars since they were turned into Luke's worst BBQ nightmare and Vader tells him to not disintegrate Han Solo in Empire Strikes Back. And then there is stuff like E.T. being a part of Star Wars and really a secret Sith Lord, Qui-Gon being a Sith mastermind because he allowed Anakin to join the Jedi Order, Poe Dameron being brainwashed to be a double agent during his capture in TFA and the all popular Darth Jar Jar theory.
  11. Thats not even the worst one. I saw a video that claimed that he was the real Anakin Skywalker and that Darth Vader was a clone. No kidding. Must have been a slow month for Star Wars channels on YouTube. I just want him to be an original character. Interesting, that never crossed my mind. But even if Snoke was Plageuis it would be wierd that Hidalgo would make it so extremely clear that Plagueis died.
  12. Disney really needed a clean slade for the sequels. The Star Wars novel craze that followed "Heirs to the Empire" in the 90s and the following interest in the EU left no room for any movies set after Episode 6 that include Luke, Han or Leia. Pablo Hidalgo is the person that decides what material should become canon or not. The movie directors and anybody who writes the storeis for the novels and comics has to consult him about the stuff they want to add. He is the number one source for informations like that. The reason why Episode 7 is so ,uch like Episode 4 is because it was the first movie of this new era of Star Wars. I can't even imagine the pressure JJ Abrams had on him while writing a sequel to one of the biggest, most iconic movie franchises in the world. Until now there is no indication that Episode 8 is doing the same thing 7 did and that should make us hope that Rian Johnson is trying something new after Episode 8 was such a huge success.
  13. I don't get why there is a controvery surronding what was carried over from Legends. Is going on Wookiepedia and just looking it up so hard for so many people ? We haven't seen any Dark Side user besides the Sith on the big screen. For the casual Star Wars fan it would be something new. Pablo Hidalgo, Creative Executive of the Lucasfilm Story Group, confirmed on Twitter (Source) that Plagueis was killed by Palpatine. Snoke being Plageius would really be even more unoriginal than Starkiller Base, seeing how it's the number one theory for who Snoke really is.
  14. Luke would be last known person in the galaxy that has been trained as a Jedi. Even if his believes were different from what Yoda and Obi-Wan had told him, he would still be considered a Jedi. Most people would call him a Jedi regardless because the general public seems to know next to nothing about the Jedi Code anymore by the time of TFA.. Even the Rebellion and it's heroes are legends by then. It would make little sense for Snoke to be a Sith and train his apprentice(s) as something different. Their goals and ideals are probably similar, but I strongly believe (and hope) that they are a new kind of dark side religion. Having the Sith as the main bad guys for another trillogy would be kinda lame. Disney also shys away from the prequels at the moment and these movies established the Sith Order to the main audience of Star Wars. (I know that it was mentioned in the original trillogy but nobody really knew anything about them other than Vader being the "Dark Lord of the Sith" until the prequels)
  15. I don't get what this has to do with anything. Kreia is a Legends character, her views don't matter when it comes to the Knights of Ren, as they are a part of the Canon timeline.
  16. Kylo and Snoke aren't Sith. JJ Abrams confirmed that even before Episode 7 came out. The Knights of Ren and Snoke are part of a new dark side order. How their believes differ is still unknown tho. This kinda mimics how the Jedi Order changed their ways over the years. During the Prequels we see them turning to scientific methods to find potential Jedi and banninga ll sorts of emotions. But in the original trillogy, we see that Yoda and Obi-Wan don't seem to believe in those teachings anymore. And in the end it was fatherly love that made Darth Vader turn on the Emperor and save the galaxy. So I think that Luke will teach Rey in a different way. Some way that makes her more than Jedi, leaving him as "the last Jedi".
  17. I think it's kinda funny how the host of a small YouTube channel called ToyGalaxy almost predicted the title of Episode 8 when he made a joke about it being called "Epsiode 8: Death of the first of the last of the Jedi" (Link:https://youtu.be/DDR6NQrJpDQ?t=1m13s) I personally think it's a bit bland but the titles of Star Wars were always a bit.... expressive about whats going to happen in the movie. Who would have thought that in "The Empire Strikes Back" the Empire really strikes back ? I won't get all upset about and think the movie is gonna suck just because of the name.
  18. The Rogue One Novel Catalyst stated that Galen Erso tried to synthesise Kyber Crystals to use them as an energy source, but found out it was impossible to grow them in a lab due to their connection to the force or something like that. I admit it's a minor thing that could be replaced with some other skill let's you do the same thing in a different way. SWTOR is such a huge thing in terms of content that trying to canonise everything seems insane. I'm probably just too biast against the idea of SWTOR becoming canon alongside Kotor since it ruined the story of both Revan and the Exile for me.
  19. There are a lot of things in that game that can't be explained like that. A few months ago it was established that kyber crystals have no colour until a force user bonds with the crystal. Doesn't happen like that in SW:TOR. Artifical crystals also don't exist anymore in canon, so that crafting skill shouldn't exist. Then theres basicly all of the Old Republic stories the game mentions that would also have to become canon. I think it's much more than that as im not an expert of the subject. BioWare would need to drop a giant update that makes everything fit with the new lore and therefor, basicly reboot the entire game. They could, however, make the Great Galactic War canon if they change it a bit. My point is that it looks like the writer team won't go through all the hard work of changing everything in SWTOR to fit the canon. We may get a mention of something that happens in that game, but there will definitly be no press statement that just declares the completely unchanged game canon.
  20. Jedi is both singular and plural. So it probably refers to Rey and Luke. I would go so far and speculate that Rey and Luke are maybe searching for other force user (Like Maz Kanata) that they can recruit.
  21. Probably not. Making everything from SWTOR canon would conflict with so much stuff that was already established in the new canon, like the way kyber crystals work, that it wouldn't be worth it. If not then the statement from April 2014 that said that only TCW and the movies and the things they established will remain a part of the new canon would be completely invalid. Not to mention that everything that happend to Revan in SWTOR can easily be left out.
  22. I wouldn't put too much hope behind that. I think Hasbro has held votes for Legends characters to get a Black Series figure. I believe Jaina Solo is actually next, but don't quote me on any of this. I personallybelieve that the Old Republic stuff is going to be changed a bit and then introduced piece by piece in Rebels or mentioned on the side in other media (Like the new Darth Maul comic). I personally really hope that Revan's and Meetra Surik's stories end beter than they did in Legends with Surik getting stabbed and Revan turning into pure fanservice for SWTOR.
  23. Thanks for pointing out that this screen is from the Blue UI mod ! I was trying to get that back into my game for a long time. Anyways, these legal screens look awesome. If I would have seen the one with Revan, Bastila and the Starforge the first time I played Kotor I would have been even more exited. Same for the one in which Atris fight Darth Sion.
