You need a save before ever entering Korriban, if I recall correctly. Otherwise, it is safe to add mid-playthrough.

It may be, actually. It’s quite small with mobile, too.
And now that I’m at it, I second SH’s point as well, just in case it’s browser-dependant.

Huh, I always thought that the torch body was a placeable (and as such, doesn’t need a walkable position to be on).
-
I believe the Peragus morgue also has a bed with a walkmesh on it (probably the one with Kreia?) that could be used as a reference, but I could remember wrong.
-
I do recall encountering in some 2da (can’t remember which one, could have been appearance for all I know) that the numbers in the id label skipped over two numbers, which caused the shown numbers and the actual row numbers to not match, which broke things (and fixing the row numbers fixed the issue). Just in case, be on lookout for those?

There is a setting for viewing (or not) the signatures in the signatures section in the account settings.
(Although I still can’t see them for some reason, but I’m also not convinced it isn’t just a mobile being antagonistic.)

Did you try it other way around? It is what this error usually is (installer being unable to deal with compressed files when the path is marked wrong). Well, that, or OS being cranky.
Also, remember to restore the game installation to the state it was prior trying to install the mod. Trying to run the installer multiple times without it being able to complete is just begging for problems.

You need to find the offending line in the changes.ini and swap the \ (or /, I never remember which ones they are) vice versa.
-
Is there functions to edit those flags?

33 modules! What are you going to do with all of them?

Yeah, no. While that may be true for most cases, you can’t set that as a general rule. Some TSLPatcher installations actually need the file, since they add lines in it and use them in the mod. So unless you want a broken install, use correct dialog.tlk.

Yeah, but it’s still not very sensible. You shouldn’t have multiple copies of any important files or things break. It’s not like something you would do with an actual load order manager.
Or maybe we just have a different idea of what that really means, which is just fine as well.
There’s in-built load order between modules and override folders as well though.
-
I’m not sure how valid the term ”load order” is in KotOR anyway. It’s not like you could really define that. It’s more like ”install order”.
...speaking of which, TSLRCM + M4-78 needs to be installed FIRST.

Why did make an empty quote of me?

By my experience, the game (at least K1) actually uses the strref only if there’s not a localized string, so the -1 may not be necessary. It’s cleaner, though.
Are you using a language version that’s not English? KTool defaults to English language, and as such, texts appear only in English version by default.

It should show the folder selection window if no registry entry is found though. I mean, at least it used to.

Could you give a sample of said dummy aabb node, in case I want to make my life more difficult?

For the record, if you need raw-ish comparing done on binary files, I have a software for that. In case you want checking done on differences between vanilla and compiled models. I’m in the process of moving right now though, but that should ease in a couple of days. Just in case.

Huh. I’m not sure if I’ve ever dared to try that one.
-
For mere weapon models, MDLEdit is quite enough. You read the source model, write it as ascii, load the ascii, set the target game, and write a new binary.
-
What makes a single-use placeable easier than making a room model?
-
Why would you lightmap a placeable anyway? That would make it un-reusable, since lighting would be wrong in other locations.

For the most of the meeting, Janek just sat silently, listening and observing; he had nothing to add, and on top of that, taking a reading of others was equally if not even more important than getting all possible information out of the conversation. To say the least, this didn’t sound good. When agent Reskos’ hologram appeared, Janek blinked an extra time, crossing his arms, doing his best (athough not completely succeeding) to not break from his neutral appearance. No, this most definitely didn’t sound good.
Well, at least there was no telling what to expect, which could be a very bad or a very good thing. Probably both.
”Splendid”, Janek said as casually as possible, despite his growing nervousness, when a suitable moment finally presented itself. ”Let me get this straight. We’re supposed to dance straight into the lair of a Force-using, mind-controlling, dual-wielding, unaccounted entity, who either is or is connected to a missing Jedi master, and who creeps out the most seasoned undercover agents?” He took a quick breath, and continued: ”Don’t get me wrong, I’m not backing off. I simply prefer to know where I stand.”

Yeah, in most cases it doesn’t work. My point was, you can’t say it never works, just that in most cases it doesn’t work.
As far as factions are concerned, you need to create both a row and a column for the faction. It’s practically a matrix. And then you need utc using that faction, of course. Classes, if I recall correctly, set the required feat table column names (I’m pretty sure it worked there...) and skill/feat progress tables (I think you can actually create new files for that and it works, although I might have used a pre-existing skill gain table) in the main class definition 2da.

...they may not be needed anymore though, assuming that the version FS uploaded actually includes the fixes I made for it. I cleaned up a lot of junk and bugs from the installer. 🤷♂️
Well, assuming the issues weren’t met in the fixed version instead (I’m assuming here it was the original one), in which case a notification there would have been appreciated.
