This mod makes a minor alteration to the Engine Lab room of the lower Black Vulkar base level to remove the Swoop Accelerator from the ground and put it on a bench. Said bench is moved from the other side of the room, where normally it impedes clear access to Kandon and his crew if the situation ends in combat. This has the side benefit of (hopefully) reducing pathing issues if the whole party tries to charge into melee combat. Additionally, several minor aesthetic fixes to the room are included. The cutting tools that normally have a static plasma (?) beam have been given some animation, and a number of pipes that had missing backfaces causing geometry culling issues have had those added. These fixes are also incorporated into the K1 Community Patch as of v1.9, so it is fully compatible with that as long as you install this mod afterwards. Installation Instructions The mod requires a GIT edit to reposition the accelerator (i.e. uses TSLPatcher), so simply run the installer. Known Issues There may some pathing issues if you try to loot the accelerator from certain angles. I've positioned it close to the front edge of the bench to minimise this from the most likely (direct) approach, but coming from the sides of the bench, especially towards the back wall end, may not work as desired. Delayed Nar Shaddaa Main Quest Delays the main quest on Nar Shaddaa, giving you the freedom to complete other quests you might want to do first. Talk to Kaalah-Nah in the Entertainment Promenade about your standing with the Exchange when you're ready. To prevent softlocks Kaalah-Nah's fee was lowered, there's an option to change it back. Let me know if you encounter any problems. Possible questions you might have Q: Is this mod safe to install mid-playthrough? A: It's generally not recommended. As far as I know it is, I tested it and the mod works, and I completed the game on that save without issues. Make sure that on your savefile the message from Visquis has not happened, and you also have not paid Kaalah-Nah 2000 credits to make the exchange like or hate you. Q: I already triggered the cutscene with the message from Visquis, does this let me return to the ship and delay the quest that way? A: No. Use a save where the cutscene hasn't happened yet, and where you haven't paid Kaalah before. Q: I haven't triggered Visquis' message yet, but I already paid Kaalah-Nah. I don't have a save before doing that. Should I install the mod now? A: Short answer: No. If you're desperate: You can install the mod, the quest will never trigger until you use the savegame editor. Go to Globals>Numerics and change 300_NAR_Exchange_Gap to 51 or higher for it to trigger. I THINK there should be no major issues doing this but doing this is not recommended or supported.

Compatability Note: If you're using TSLRCM, Extended Enclave, or M4-78 EP mods, please install the optional Patch file matching your resolution after installing those other mods. The cutscenes were upscaled using Topaz Gigapixel AI, and interpolated to 60fps using SVP Pro 4. Black bars are used to maintain the aspect ratio of the content while bringing the videos to 16:9 overall. TO INSTALL: Make a backup of your "Movies" folder, which is in your main game directory. Download the main pack(s) that matches the resolution you play at. 1440p and 2160p are each broken into three packs. If using TSLRCM, download the matching Patch file as well. Extract/unzip the pack(s) you downloaded. Replace everything in your Movies folder with the extracted files. Do not place them in your Override folder. If you're using Aspyr's (Steam) version of the game, these should work "out of the box" without any tinkering. If you're using a different version, you can use UniWS to patch your game to the correct resolution. If this doesn't work on your version for whatever reason, you may need to use a hex editor to change some values in your game executable to get them to play correctly. Please refer to the following guide on how to do this, skipping the parts about upscaling the cutscenes: https://deadlystream.com/topic/4631-how-to-force-kotor-i-iis-bik-movies-to-play-in-any-resolution/ NOTE: Many cutscenes in KotOR 2 are in-engine recordings. These have be re-recorded at 4k60 rather than upscaled.
