To hell with them, you're an awesome dude and deserved better than that, but at least now you are away from those poisonous influences and you could be yourself and happy. I'm glad you and your boyfriend are back together and happy! Don't force yourself back into the modding scene if things are still trying to settle, just let it flow to you when you're ready.
