-----------------

» DESCRIPTION

-----------------

This mod takes the ever popular Darth Revan Robe and gives it a Jedi feel to it. This version includes the robes as a seperate item so it can be used in conjunction with the original Darth Revan robes. Also included are several items that can be used only by Revan. The robes and mask come with unique icons. All complete with TSL Patcher installation. All the items can be obtained in the game without the cheats.

-----------------

» INSTALLATION

-----------------

Simply run the TSL Patcher and follow the on-screen instructions.

------------------------------------

» HOW TO OBTAIN THE ITEMS IN-GAME

------------------------------------

Immediately following the second Bastila-Malak confrontation scene (the scene where Bastila throws her lightsaber at Malak) look for a datapad near the sealed door. This datapad is essential to get the items. It talks about a secret compartment in the cargo hold on the Ebon Hawk.

Escape the Leviathan and proceed through the conversation following as normal. After which you should find yourself in the cockpit. In order for the compartment to appear, you must speak to Carth about how he feels about you being Revan. It was not my first choice to have the mod work like this but sometimes you have to work with what you have.

Following the conversation the compartment should appear. Proceed to the cargo hold and near the spice container. It should be on the floor to the left. It will be locked and it will stay that way unless you have the datapad that Bastila dropped. If you have it, the compartment will open and you will get the items.

» KNOWN BUGS

---------------

- During the installation, you may receive a warning saying 'Warning: Invalid column label "driveanimrun" encountered! Skipping entry...' I have no idea why this happens. If you get this you have to input the entry yourself. Simply open your modified appearance.2da file found in your Override folder using the KOTOR Tool, scroll down to the bottom of the list to the new entry, and input "3.96" in the driveanimrun column.

If you find any more feel free to send me a Private Message over on LucasForums (username: ZimmMaster).

Same here, just by selecting the robe, the game directly freezes and crashes back to the desktop =/.

I have been made aware of this and I'm trying to figure it out. I would not hold my hopes up for it though. I'm very sorry for this but I'm simply too busy with college work. Not to mention I haven't actively modded in years. I do apologize.

Just use "Revan's Hoodless Maskless Flowing Robes For K1 1.1" and Texture from this mod.

Is that a way to make this mod work? If so, please provide details on how to do it.

To everyone in the thread who was having issues with crashing: I found the issue. One of the lines in "appearance.2da" was incorrectly modified. I fixed the file so that it works, if you guys want to download it here.

If you'd rather try and fix it yourself, you basically need use KTool to open the original "appearance.2da" in the "2da.bif" file, find the data values for DarthRevanM under the "race" column, and modify this mod's 2da file so that it matches up to the original.

For some reason, the chestplate and gauntlets of this outfit are semi-transparent.

I cannot find any "DarthRevanM."  I changed three values in the rows for "Unique_Darth_Revan" and "Unique_Darth_Revan_Male_CUTSCN"  to match the original, the walkdist, rundist, and driveanimwalk.   These edits made no difference.  Alas, the fix linked above is gone.

Can someone fix this mod? fail to equip robe

I have seen that they comment that the mod has a flaw in the appearance.2da, but it looks more like it is the mdl, although I still cannot accommodate that mod

Has anyone found a fix to the crashing or no?

Here is how I *actually* fixed this mod.

Tools needed:

Kotor Tool:

and:

Why Kotor Tool: You need it to actually add a new property

First install the mod as normal.

Why this mod breaks: If you open up the "jedirevan_robes.uti" file and look at it's properties you will see an "ERROR" in the 'Disguise' property. That is why this keeps crashing. First thing we need to do is actually *remove* that property. You cannot do this in Kotor Tool to my knowledge.

Download and install K-GFF and run the .exe, navigate to your override file, find "jedirevan_robes.uti" open it. Look for the property that has a value or something to do with 500 something in it, i forget the actual number, but that's the disguise property, and that 500 something number is why it's breaking afaik. Use K-GFF to remove that entire property. Save it. Relaunch Kotor Tool and verify that the property is gone. Now go to OPTIONS of kotor tool go to 'other' and check the box "Find .2da files in override" This is what will let the GFF editor in kotor tool actually see the custom disguise added in the appearance.2da that the TSL patcher installs when you first install the mod.

Go back to "Open GFF" in kotor tool. select "jedirevan_robes.uti" navigate to properties. Select 'disguise' in the bottom, the box under, click, and scroll ALL the way down (You should see a list of your appearances in your appearance.2da file) find ZM_Star_Forge_Robe. Click on it.

Your new "jedirevan_robes.uti" should look like:

If you have a character with the armor already on it. Then use KSE to remove it from that save. Reload the game, save over the save no longer having the armor, re-add it to you via KSE, load that save again and check to see if it still breaks.

Thank you for providing a fix for an old mod! And for me, the issue was that the metal parts would be translucent.
