Jedi Sentinels Gain Sneak Attack
By djh269
Date: 11.03.2024

Description:

- In TSL Jedi Watchmen/Sith Assassin classes are granted the Sneak Attack ability, as class stages goes Scoundrel>Jedi Sentinel>Jedi Watchmen/Sith Assassin I thought it'd be better to boost Jedi Sentinels with the feats, as they are the weakest Jedi class in my opinion
- Grants Jedi Sentinels the ability to use Sneak Attack level 1-10
- Grants Bastila 2 levels of Sneak Attack when you first recruit her as that's what a level 3 Sentinel gets
- Also changes Bastilas character to have Sneak Attack level 1-10 the second time you recruit her later in the game

Compatibility:
Should be compatible with any mods, if not, reach out and I will seek to change that.

I love this mod but I've encountered a bug wherein Bastilla joins the party without the lightsaber proficiency perk, furthermore it is not available to add during level up either. I tried to read through the changes.ini file and see if something was missing but I'm afraid my modding experience is much too limited to figure out where this problem might be coming from.

Thank you so much from spotting the error within my mod it's greatly appreciated, sorry for the slow reply I work nights and it's way to hot in the UK right now haha.

This is the original line of code for the vanilla Bastila UTC file, as you can see it literally only adds to feats, however it removes quite literally the feat which lets Bastila equips a lightsaber as you can see below:

This is the edited code as you can see below:

And this is the result:

As such, you can now see I have fixed the error, I am sorry for the blunder my friend :D

Hello there,

I'm attempting to install this mod  on Android but I've hit a roadblock. For most TSLPatcher mods, I run the installer, setting the directory as a proxy KOTOR folder with a dialog.tlk  file inside. This folder is on my desktop, and allows me to merge .2da files and then copy/paste the newly created Override into the Override folder in my Android device's KOTOR directory. I've also had success with modules and streamwave files using this method.

The error code I receive is as follows:

RuntimeError: Chosen KOTOR directory is not a valid installation - cannot initialize Modinstaller.

How can I convince this installer that my proxy folder is a "legitimate" directory?

Is this maybe an issue with the changes.ini file? I noticed the LookUpGame line was set to 0 instead of 1 or 2, which caused an error in executing until I set it to 1.

Thanks for any help that can be given.

*** EDIT ***

Turns out Holopatcher doesn't agree with the proxy directory method I use with TSLPatcher, likely due to files missing that need to be present like they are in the actual KOTOR directory. I suppose I'll just have to wait for some workaround. If only I could mount my Android device as a mass storage device, and the patcher listed it as a potential installation location.

*** EDIT ***

I got curious regarding how to port this mod to TSLPatcher, and after reading the mod installer section in the TSLPatcher ReadMe, I decided to simply dump the .exe in this mods folder. I executed, and it simply worked. I'm going to merge my override folder with this mod now, and in combination with the no forced leveling mod, I may be able to realize my dream of a level 19 jedi with max sneak attack.
