Atton's destiny

Having seen the endings with LS Female, both with Atton winning and losing against Sion, A question arose in my mind: What will be Atton's future?

Looking at the ending (if he survives), and listening to Kreia, it seems that Atton will go with the exile; but we know that Revan left everyone behind because it wuould be a weakness having his friends with him.

To me, it seems that Atton intends to go with the Exile anyway.

I'm under the impression he stays with the Exile and goes on to rebuild the Jedi Order.

 

If it's DS ending I suppose he'd help to reforge the Sith?

I'm actually not sure if the scene where Atton talks to the Exile after the Kreia confrontation makes sense. He talks about how last time they were headed towards this Space Station (Peragus??? He was already there! I think there must have been a game design change sometime after that line was recorded!)

 

Anyway, I can't remember what Kreia says about Atton. It's been a while since I've gotten to the end of KOTOR2! :-)

Well, I think that it make sense, even if smells of cut content!

Maybe Atton was intended to follow the exile anyway, but without a real ending it cannot be said for sure!

I'm pretty sure that Atton was referring to Ciatdel Station - the one orbiting Telos . . .

Whenever I hear that dialogue, he seems to say "mining colony on the edge of space, and there was this Sith Lord..." which to me sounds like Peragus, and he was simply trying to make it sound like he was always with the Exile.

I just re-listened to the quote - I have all of Atton's lines on an iPod playlist - and I must admit that I remembered the actual line wrong. Oops! Perhaps it's like one of those thing that make it like a infinite loop. (You know you're going to play the game again . . .) More likely, it was a mistake that wasn't caught due to the rush to release the game.

To me it's pretty evident a call to a "new" adventure (KOTOR3). And the reference of Peragus is that was KOTOR2's story... where he also bailed the exile out of trouble.

Yes, it's exactly what I thought... Just like he's saying, with his tipical Irony, "And now where we have to go?" The fact is that, while the for the others it is sure that the path of the exile is far from theirs, for Atton it's seems the opposite.
