DeathScepter 46 Posted August 9, 2020 I am wondering what does Freedom of Movement does for Armor. And would it be feasible for a development for a future Jedi friendly armor for a mod? Like using Force Valor or Force Storm while using this potential armor concept.
JCarter426 1,215 Posted August 9, 2020 It's left over from Neverwinter Nights, in which it makes the user immune from paralysis and movement speed debuffs. Maybe it does the same thing in KOTOR, but it could very well do nothing. It's entirely possible to have armor that doesn't restrict Force powers, though. The restriction is through the base item number. If you make a new base item type that is otherwise a copy of armor with the same appearance and such, it won't have the restriction.

Thank you for the information. Side Note: I might do a Dedicated Recruit Mod thread later on with some mild porting from Kotor 2 items and characters and a Kotor 1 head re skin. But I might ask 90SK if it is cool to import some of his Kotor 2 Jedi items.
