Doctor 60 Posted June 5, 2011 I've edited a couple of VO's and placed them back in their correct folder however they don't play in game anymore. I changed the files to mp3, edited them and then changed them back to wav - Obviously I've missed something somewhere but I have no idea what. Has anyone got an ideas? Sith Holocron 2,478 Posted June 8, 2011 It might possibly help to know which files they are.
MrPhil 58 Posted June 8, 2011 Did you try to leave them as .mp3, instead of changing them back to .wav?
Doctor 60 Posted June 8, 2011 They were for Dorak - streamwaves > m13aa > dora08 > NM13AADORA08001_.wav and then through to 8006_.wav Yeah I'm sure I did try as mp3 - I'll try again later and see but I'm nearly 100% sure I tried mp3 before converting them back to wav. TimBob12 5 Posted June 8, 2011 The files have to be mono I think although this may only be for using the LipSynchEditor.
Guest DeadMan Posted June 10, 2011 I didn't tried to edit VO's, but for other sound files I just left them as *.mp3 and DELETED origianls - everything worked just fine. And TimBob12 is right - most of the sounds must be MONO, or they won't play properly. At least in my copy of game... BTW, this method worked fine for TSL, but I never tried this on K1.
