[KotOR] Tatooine Swoop Registration / Tatooine Czerka Office .are/.git filenames issue?

Hello!

I was wondering if someone could tell me if the apparently wrong naming of the .are and .git files in the Tatooine Czerka Office module may be cause of issues?

The module's name is tat_m17ag but the included .git and .are files are m17ae.are and m17ae.git.

Of course it seems the module produce the correct assets.

The Czerka office reuses the Swoop interior. It's done a couple of times throughout the game. If you are modding either you'll need to make proper use of MODs, not just dumping stuff in the Override.

So, by any chance someone should make a custom tat_m17ag module based on tat_m17ag's RIM, would it be OK if they rename the GIT and ARE from m17ae.are/git to m17ag.are/git before building the module? Or should they just leave it be?

There's no reason to screw with the vanilla names, and doing so will break things if you don't properly propagate the changes. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it".
